Mike's Pov

"How are you feeling?" questioned Nancy.
   "Me? I'm fine! How about you?" I asked.
   "I'm good." she replied happily.

After the incident, Nancy and El were rushed to the hospital.

We all waited for about an hour with my family until the doctor called my parents and I in to see Nancy.

They said she was hurt but not severely so she'll be on her feet quickly. I'm so glad that she's ok but I'm worried about El.

   "Mike." she said. I look up at her red eyes.
   "I know your worried about her. Tell me what's going on." she said desperately. I sigh and take a seat next to her.

   "I'm scared," I start, "I don't wanna lose her Nance. She's been through so much and I wanted her to feel loved and safe but I failed. She risked her life for me when I needed saving and I couldn't even help her when she needed it." Tears run down my cheeks.

   "Come here." she said pulling me closer. I hung on to her like a little kid, sobbing into her hospital gown.

   "Now go, check up on your friends!" she said wiping my tears.

   "Sure you'll be ok?" I asked. She gave me a small smile.

   "Of course! Mom and Dad will be back soon." she said. I smiled back and started towards the door.

   "Wait Mike!" she said. I look back.

   "Yeah?"
   "Call in Jonathan, please."

I walked in the waiting room and looked over at everyone. Once they saw me, they jumped up.

   "How is she?" asked Jonathan.
   "She's fine. She's hurt but not too bad. She'll be out of here in no time." I said. They all sighed in relief.

   "And Jonathan, Room 34." I said. He smiled and walked towards her room.

   "Have you heard about El?" I asked. Everyone shook their heads. I sighed and sat next to them.

   "Guys," said Max, "I'm sorry." We exchanged confused looks.

   "Other than you not telling us you have freaking powers like El, what?" asked Dustin.

   "I'm sorry for acting like an idiot. I knew I shouldn't have told that to Troy. I was just mad and frustrated because of El. I love you guys and I will never do anything like that again." she said crossing her heart.

   "We forgive you," I said, "Also, are you gonna explain us the whole powers thing?" She laughed and smiled at me.

   "Promise you won't tell anyone?" she said.
   "Promise."

Jonathan's Pov

I walked through the dark, hospital halls.

Room 31
Room 32
Room 33
Room 34!

I opened the door slowly.
   "Can I come in?" I asked. I heard a faint, soft voice.

   "Yes Jonathan." said Nancy. I walked in and closed the door. I stood there awkwardly.

   "Well don't just stand there dummy! Give me a hug!" she said. I laughed and kneeled beside her. I hugged her tightly with no reason to let go.

   "I'm so glad you're ok." I sniffled. She lean back and looked into my watery eyes.

   "Hey! I'm here! I'm ok." she said.
   "I know. It's just-" I said looking down.

   "Just what?" she said curiously.

   "When that guy shot you... my heart stopped. Everything in me shut down. If anything happens to you, I don't know what I would do. I can't go through the pain again. I-I love you." I said, my voice breaking slightly.

I looked up at her weary eyes. She cupped my face and leaned in. I kissed back, each second building up my love for her.

We leaned back and stared into each other's eyes.

   "I love you too, Jonathan"

Mike's Pov

   "So you have the power of Healing?" Dustin said. We all leaned in intrigued.

   "Yes, ever since I was a baby." she said.
   "And they experimented on you like they did with El?" continued Lucas. She nodded.

   "But not as much as El," she said, "They weren't planning on releasing her like they let me." Just as she finished the sentence, Hopper and Joyce burst through the doors.

   "Are you guys ok?" asked Hopper. We nodded our heads.

   "Have you heard anything about Eleven?" said Joyce. I was about to speak when doctors came rushing in, panicking everyone.

   "F-For J-Jane Hopper." stuttered the doctor. Will, Joyce, and Hopper quickly jogged to the doctor as we watched.

They continued to chatter as they were led out.

Will's Pov

   "What's going on?" my mom asked. The doctor ignored her and continued.

   "I'm sorry, did you not understand what she said? What the hell is going on?" asked Hopper.

The doctor stopped at a room and opened the door.

Inside, El was laying on a the bed. I ran to her side. She was very pale. Paler than I've ever seen her. Her skin was cold and colorless.

   "I'm sorry. There was nothing we could do. She's gone."
