Who wouldn't know that date. After all it is Christmas and our young Valkyries with certain teacher and headmaster are preparing for the celebration

Everyone is special, everyone come with their own Christmas theme wear but something felt different this year like a something is missing

"Mei? what are you doing everyone is already at the dining table" Mei jolted in surprise. She was on her own space until Himeko called out to her

"A- ah major sorry I- I will be back!"

"WAIT MEI WHERE ARE YOU GOING!" Mei was fast to escaped. The door slam right on Himeko's face, gladly it didn't hit her

"Haa.... Haaaa.... where are you Hikari-san....." Apparently the cause of all Mei sudden behaviour was the absence of Hikari. She have promised to this man to met her at her dorm during that said hour but surprisingly he wasn't there

"Hikari-san isn't the one who break a promise so why he isn't there" Mei is in confusion but she swept no to think of it any further instead she make her way to his café, maybe he is there

It took a total of 5 minutes of running to his café and thankfully there he is right there just placing the box that maybe is a supply for tomorrow

"HIKARI-SAN!"

"Hmm?" He turn around and seeing Mei who is waving right back at him

"Ah Mei what are you doing here?" He ask and she gave him a look of disbelief

"Moo did you forget our promise!" He tilted his head as if he didn't know a thing and that when it is done

"You said you will pick me at the dorm!"

"Ah" Hikari scratch the back of his head

'How could he forgotten about it, I just told him this morning'

"Ahaha sorry Mei I kinda forget about it but since you are here how about a quick walk around the school it wouldn't take that long" He said and Mei sigh but comply anyway

"So Mei" Hikari look at her

"Yeah?" Mei look back at him as she gaze toward this man eye. Even after so long she still dare to said that she have never found anyone to have eye as beautiful as him. His iris is silver with some kind of shine that make her compare it with diamonds and blend in with dark blue layer like the night sky that close to his pupils

"I have thought about it but why do you want me to met you at your dorm? You could just come to my café if you need me for something" Mei quicken her pace and stand infront of him making him stop as to not hit her

"Hikari-san I noticed that you rarely join any activities that includes the whole school unless it is necessary more or less any celebration....." He quirk a brow

"And?" Mei sigh and reach for his right hand

"Hikari-san why don't you want to join any of this celebration? is it that you have a bad memories with it or a traumatic experience?" Hikari's eye widen in shock but then relax again. Of course this lady is always an observant one even as trivial as his problem it would not pass her

"I guess I was caught red handed, No I do not have not have anything that make me hate or dislike celebration like Christmas or Halloween it just I found it unnecessary. I have thought of it for awhile, and it might sound selfish but we met everyday and even if we don't celebrate it I would still see you like always Mei....." Mei could not believe his word this man was selfish but yet he isn't

"Hikari-san we celebrate as for appreciation not as a meeting" Mei said

"But then I am still appreciate your company every time you are around" Mei fought the urge to just slam her hand right on her face and groan. This man isn't selfish he is dense to the point that he needed to be told of everything that is necessary

Mei continue to walk ahead of him while explaining a bit by a bit the important of celebration. He is the one right behind only listen and gaze upon her beautiful silky hair

"Hikari-san we celebrate not just to appreciate but to have fun with each other. It is just how you enjoy the life. Everything doesn't need to be as serious Hikari-san"

By then she turned to him but Hikari was froze instantly.

You don't need to be so serious every time Axis-san

"Sylph....." A silhouette replace Mei. In his eye it was a woman with a white hair dress in a knight like armour. Her hair is similar to a snow, White and fluffy but the most appealing part was her ear. Her ears point away from her face as if it was like a fantasy like humanoid creature that was called an Elf

"Hikari-san? Are you there?" Mei wave her hand infront of his face as this man wasn't listening to her just after she turn around. She try to shake him a little and thankfully she got a respond

He jolted in surprised. He was imagining thing again

"Hikari-san are you okay?"

"A- ah Mei sorry I was hallucinating for a second, what is it are talking just now?" Mei was a bit suspicious of him but let him go with that and sigh

"I was telling you to not be so serious every time" Hikari awkwardly rub the back of his head

Quickly he walk pass through her

"Haha yes... yes.... I will, Hey! didn't you said you want me to join you celebrating Christmas than let's go" Mei gaze on his back. Something across her mind, the name he just said right at her

"Sylph..... who is she? and what kind of relationship do she have with Hikari-san" Mei shook her head multiple of time, she isn't the one who bothered others privacy more or less the one she care but it is a lie if she doesn't felt any hinge of jealousy. After all she bear a feeling toward this man and heard other girl name that she never knew come from his mouth make her questioning of him

She quickly catch up to him who look at her when she stay at the same spot since he continues his walk

"We are back!" Mei said with the sound of footsteps coming to the door and it was Theresa

"Oh Mei we were worried about you- oh you got Hikari to join us as well, great!" Theresa went back to the group and tell them about the good news

And not so surprised He heard like a ruckus is happening in there then a certain white head jump at him, hugging him by the head

"HACCHI GLAD YOU MAKE IT!" Hikari try to talk but the only thing that come out is the sound of muffling

Mei giggle by the sight and she could only guess of what he said

"Mmmm!" All of a sudden Hikari's head started to turn very bright blue and sweating a bullet. Mei panic and pulled Kiana away from him

"GAH! I almost died there"

"Kiana you need to be more careful!" Kiana quickly bow at him multiple that he could see her overlapping

"A- AH I'M SORRY I GOT TO EXCITED" Hikari could do nothing but pet her head and smile to reassure her

"Than let us met with other, right Mei?" Mei smile and nodded as h e gift his own

"Yeah....."

Time were great back then but now it is just a piece of memories for others reminisce

"Mei?...."

"Ah Principal Theresa what are you doing here" Theresa gaze at her even now she could tell that she have been crying. Raiden Mei have a fragile heart and it hurt her more when the one she love were no more to celebrate with them even at her hand right now is a piece of a picture in a frame of them, all of them

"Mei sometimes it is hard to let go but if Hikari know you keep crying like this even he would not be happy up there, so wipe your tears and smile. If not for me do it for him" She grimace at the picture mostly on a silver headed male in the center of the picture

"Yeah your right he would not want to see me like this" Mei wipe her tear but for one last time she gave her time on the frame she hold before put it back nicely and turn to the others

This is a Christmas for her and her friend but it is a Christmas where a piece has gone from it spot, forever

Some where close a being saw them through the house thanks to his vision as he gaze upon it

"Merry Christmas St.Freya....." It flew away as Mei look at in the air from the mirror and found only moon were there, a beautiful moon
