Naruto ran over to where he saw the eyes, he looked around and a cat jumped out a shadow. He couldn't take this anymore, his heart clenched, his knees gave in and he fell on the ground, he clutched his chest, his fist tightening around the cloth near the chest area, he let out a sob,"Sa-suke." The lump in his thorat made it unable for him to speak.

Why was this happening to him? Who was sasuke to make him so hurt like this? Naruto was angry, hurt and torn. He wished for a normal life yet he can't have one. 

Suddenly there was presence behind him, Naruto took out a kunai and turned around,"Who's there?!" Naruto was annoyed, why can't he have a time to himself? Even if he was only crying.

There was killing intent in his eyes that was slightly visible because of the moon light. 

"It hurts Naruto, you don't even remember my presence." A highly familiar voice said. Naruto couldn't help but get his hopes up,"Sasuke?"

And then the said person appeared before him,"Yes Naruto?" Sasuke gently wiped his Naruto's tears. Naruto asked unsure,"You are here right? I am not hallucinating right?"

If it was a normal circumstances, sasuke would have chuckled but nothing was normal here. Sasuke pulled Naruto in a hug,"Dobe you tell me, does this feel like a hallucination?"

When Naruto felt the familiar warmth, he let the tears flow, he fell into the the warm embrace,"Sasuke~"

Naruto asked what he wanted to ask the person infront of him all the time,"Why did you leave me?"

Sasuke pulled Naruto tighter into the hug,"I wasn't strong enough."

Naruto mumbled,"Strong enough for what?"

Sasuke ran his hand through the blonde fluff,"Strong enough to protect everyone, strong enough to protect Team 7 and strong enough to protect you." They fell into silence.

They stood hugging each other under the moon light and the cold breeze. Sasuke face soured, he tried so hard to not hug Naruto the way he wanted to.  His heart raced when he inhaled his best friend's smell and felt the comfy warmth.

Sasuke's lips quivered, he couldn't get the words out, he pulled away from Naruto and said,"Naruto I..." 

However Naruto didn't let him finish,"Wait Sasuke let me tell you something." Naruto joined their lips together in a soft kiss, he pulled away,"I love you Teme, I love you Sasuke Uchiha."
