David pov:

We are chilling with the kids in Toby's room and Liza gets a text.
"David. My moms on her way home. Text ya later?" She says.
"Of course." I reply. She quickly packs her stuff and goes downstairs. I follow her, carrying a duffle bag.
"Have fun with your mom!" I say.
"I will. See you tomorrow!" She replies and I nod. She stands in her tip-toes and reaches up to give me a kiss. I lean in and kiss her soft lips. I pull away and wave to her as she leaves.

I go back upstairs and Ester is alone in her room.
"What ya doing es?" I ask.
"Nothing. Just watching Netflix."
"I see. Are you ok? You seem a bit off."
"I'm ok." She says.
"Are you really? You can tell me. I'm your big brother I won't tell anyone if you don't want me too." I say and she looks up at me.
"Ok. I'm just scared."
"Of what?"
"You going away. I want you to stay my brother. I don't want you to go off with that girl." She explains.
"Liza? She's very nice. And I won't ever leave you."
"But I don't even know her." 
"Yes. But you will eventually. You guys can buy toys together and you can play together. She would love that." I say. Ester smiles at me.
"Ok." She hugs me tightly.
"I love you es."
"Love you too davey."

I am laying in bed, late at night, thinking about what Ester said.  How do I know for sure that I will never leave them? I have to make sure I spend equal time  with each of them. I get a FaceTime from Liza.
"Hey beautiful." I say.
"Hey handsome." I chuckle.
"So , your mom got home safe?"
"Yep!" She answers.
"That's good." She nods.
"So I wanted to talk to you." She says and I start to get nervous.
"About what?"
"Nothing, I just can't sleep. I'm not used to falling asleep alone again." She says.
"Ok. I'll help you baby. Set your phone down on your table and just relax. So I remember when I first met you, you caught my eye immediately. You were wearing a white adidas shirt with high waisted shorts. Your hair was in a bun and you looked beautiful."
"You remember?" She asks.
"Of course I do. I was so scared to talk to you. I wanted to make a good first impression so badly but I couldn't work up the courage. But then you looked over at me and I had to talk to you. We introduced ourselves and we clicked instantly. I already felt like I could share my deepest secrets with someone i just met. I don't even know how that was possible but it sure happened. From that first day I have always wanted to be with you. Forever and Always." I say.
"Forever and Always." Liza repeats. I look at the screen at her. Liza's eyes are falling together, peacefully. Her breathing steadies and she soon is fast asleep. And not long after that, I am also gone.
