David pov:

I can already tell I like Liza. It is that simple. I think of her every time I close my eyes. I have only known her for a day, and I am already crazy about her.

I am in my free period, so I decide to walk outside. I step out of the door and the breeze hits me. The clouds are puffy and the wind is chilling. I walk over to a bench and plop my backpack down beside me. I kick pebbles beneath my feet, trying to waste time. I hear the crunch of footsteps on the rocks in front of me. I look up and see Liza.
"Hey. Can I sit?" She asks.
"Uh-uh- ya sure." I say nervously.
"You've got a free period too?"
"Ya. I had nothing better to do."
She nods.
"So. Tell me about yourself." She states.
"What?"
"Tell me about yourself. I wanna get to know you so we can be friends." She says and I smile.
"Ok well. I moved here from Vernon Hills. I come from Slovakia, and I have three siblings, ester, Sarah, and Toby."
"Nice!"
"Tell me about yourself." I say.
"Sure. My name is Liza, obviously. My full name is Elizabeth Shaila Koshy. I am half white and half Indian.duh. I have no siblings and I am 17 years old."
She replies. I smile.

We sit around for another 30 minutes.
"So I heard you have a boyfriend?" I say to Liza.
"Yeah. His name is Ethan." She says smiling.
"Tell me about you guys." I tease.
She giggles.
"Ok. Umm. We have been dating for 7 months. I have never been happier with anyone else. And if he sees me with any other guy, he will probably hit me."
He last sentence sent a chill down my spine.
"He will what?" I ask quietly.
"Probably hit me. Please don't tell anyone. OMG. I am trusting someone I met yesterday. What am I doing??"
"Don't worry. I won't tell. Unless it goes out of hand. Liza, promise you will tell me when it goes too far?" I ask and she nods. Ding.
"Bye Liza!"
"Bye Dobrik!"
