Hello all! here's the next chapter...its a small chapter, hope you enjoy it...

That's why I married her' the words rang for the nth time in Gulf's ear as he stared through the overview of the hospital from the corridor window, while hurrying out of his brother's room he had used up all his energy pushing the wheels of his chair. Hence he was sitting in the main corridor that has the view of the entire hospital, though he was looking out the window his mind was still seeing Mew's face. Gulf momentarily closed his eyes trying to collect his thoughts but instead his mind reminded him of the excited feeling he had felt when he first saw Mew in his room...his caring smile... his sharp jaw-line...his touch. Gulf opened his eyes startled by his own train of thoughts; he looked around in habit and saw Mew walking in the opposite direction from corridor he had just rushed out. "There you are!" Gulf barely reacted when Alex called him from his other side, he remind quite as Alex pushed him back to his room. Just as they reached his room, gulf told Alex that he would like to sit like this for some more time confusing her but nevertheless she compiled and left him in the wheelchair in the middle of the room.

*Slam*

Alex shut the door while Gulf sat in the same position for few minutes with his thoughts still occupied by his brother's words and Mew's face; he sighed shaking his head and slowly pushed the chair to the corner of the room, slowly got up and limped towards his bed. The residual pain from the limping and his struggle to settle in the bed momentarily distracted him, but as soon as he leaned back in the bed...all his thoughts hit play from pause. Confused would be under-stating his feelings... as he was unsure of what he was feeling, the statement from Mild surprised him but somehow he felt lighter than before. And seeing Mew at that moment made it feel like all the pieces came to its place...except the picture was still blurred for Gulf.

He still vividly remembered the time Mild started dating... he had never seen his brother smile so much... the change in him was evident, though a little disappointed at first it was then Gulf decided to keep Mild at a distance away from their business... for him to live a normal and happier life. His mind suddenly showed him an image of him in place of his brother, smiling and enjoying something...with someone beside, Gulf vigorously shook his head to stop his train of thoughts since he could already feel it. "You're losing it gulf!" he mumbled to himself running his hand though his face, he took a deep breath, "I just need some sleep... just some sleep, Yes!!" he said to himself, leaned back and closed his eyes ...only the first thing that popped in his mind of Mew's laughing face.

Next day,

Gulf had decided to completely ignore all the 'unnecessary' thoughts his mind kept playing... all in all he had decided he needed to get well soon and get out of the hospital to actually feel better. So this time gulf himself suggested he would go to the walking area and since Alex was busy somewhere else another nurse took him out to the walking area. The young nurse soon stopped his wheelchair in the grassy area away from the walking path and walked away from him with her eyes glued to her phone. Gulf watched her in silence and smiled when she went to with some other fellow nurses; he didn't find any kind of will to stand up to walk so he just sat there with the crutches on his lap. He once again glanced towards the nurse, who was happily chatting away when he noticed a familiar figure sitting in the table behind her.

Gulf eyes stopped at Dr. Mew... who was eating with a few colleagues, yet gulf's mind focused only on Mew blurring out the rest of the people around them. Gulf stared at Mew like he's the only person there...but unlike any other time everything Mew did had an effect on Gulf surprising him. Gulf almost stopped breathing seeing Mew smile and laughing...his mouth dried seeing him drink his water...he started to feel hungry seeing him eat his lunch though he just had his. Feeling the heat flow through his face, Gulf at once turned away trying to control his raged breathing. Seeing how taking deep breathes didn't help he decided to leave to his room but the wheels didn't budge, even after putting all his strength on it. He bent down to the side and saw the lock was on the wheel; he took irritated breath almost cursing the nurse aloud and tried to reach it by himself.

His finger almost touched the latch when another set of long veined finger covered over his and unlocked the wheels; Gulf looked up to see Mew's face inches away from his. Gulf froze in his place, his eyes focused on Mew who was smiling back at him; slowly Gulf's eyes moved towards Mew's pinkish lips that were saying something but Gulf heard none of it. Gulf felt himself being drawn to it as every second stared to feel longer...he tried his best to control his hand that was aching to touch those slowly moving lips. Just as his hand rose up, gulf almost jumped in his seat moving away from the close proximity, while Mew watched him startled by his sudden movement after his constant staring. Mew placed his hand on Gulf's gaining his attention again, Gulf looked at Mew still trying to erase the image that was forming in his mind.

"Are you okay Mr. Kana??" Mew asked in a concerned voice while Gulf instantly looked away from him as felt he would fall into Mew's eyes again. Gulf nodded "yes...yes...I'm...I'm okay...I'm... just... leaving to my room..." Gulf spoke trying to push the wheels while Mew still had a strong hold on it, Mew glanced back to see the nurses still unaware of her patient "Let me take you to your room..." he announced surprising gulf. He instantly reacted this time, "No...No...Thank you but...I...I can go on my own...thanks!" gulf answered and took no time to push himself past Mew. Mew let go of the wheels and saw gulf put all his strength to hurry out of the walking area, his concern grew a little more; he had been keeping an eye on Gulf since he entered the walking area yet kept silent since Gulf had been avoiding him for the past two days. He instantly takes his phone out and with one last glance towards the nurse he dials and number and waits for an answering while staring at the door Gulf just wheeled into.

Gulf almost hit his bed trying halt at the speed he wheeled himself inside, his hands were radiating with pain and tiredness but Gulf just stared trying to catch his breath. Gulf places his hands over his head trying his calm his own train of thoughts, he closed his eyes and shook his head yet the brightened image of Mew's pink lips and the feelings he felt looking at it were stuck in his mind. He opened his eyes when he heard the door slide open, he turned around to see Alex standing there panting making Gulf confused and worried. "Nurse Alex??" he exclaimed when she slowly walked inside still taking deep breathes, "I'm sorry Mr. Kana...you had to....you had to roll-in here...by... by yourself!" Gulf smiled in relief, "it's okay...I don't feel pain as much...I can roll it on my own!" he lied through the pain near his ribs.

He smiled at Alex who visibly held a guilty look; she walked to him "you look a little tired... I'll help you to your bed!" she said politely and placed his arm around her shoulders to help him get up when she suddenly paused and looked at Gulf. She stared at Gulf's face who stared back in confusion; she looked down at her hand placed near his chest. She re-arranged and placed her hand right over his chest startling Gulf, she looked up at him "Are feeling some kind of blood rush?" she asked out of blue while Gulf nodded a 'no' having no clue on what was going on. Alex took another 10 seconds pause and moved to stand in front of Gulf, "I just ran here...yet you're heart is beating faster than mine...are you really okay, Mr. Kana? Should I call the doctor??" she asked. Gulf stared at Alex for a second and looked away "yes ...no...no need for the doctor...I guess I'm just tired and...you know...from pushing the chair..." he said and got up on his own avoiding Alex's look. He took a step just as Alex held his arm when the door opened again, Gulf turned to see Mew enter his room almost making Gulf curse out loud at his own fate.

Gulf settles in the bed with their help while Nurse Alex told Mew about his rapid heart-beat but with one good look at Gulf, Mew informed the nurse that it would be usual when you do some work after long break. Gulf glanced at Mew, who was writing something in the chart with a small on his face; "Do you feel any pain Mr. Kana?" Mew asked in a professional voice. Though disappointed with his tone, Gulf answered knowing his question was sincere "No!" he replied looking at his lap ad heard a loud sigh in return. "Still...let me just check!" before Gulf could respond to his words Mew lifted gulf shirt and leaned closer making Gulf freeze in his place. Gulf had stopped breathing feeling Mew's faint breathing along with his hands casually glide over his ribs and chest as he checked his broken ribs. On cue, Mew looked up at Gulf with his hands pressed over the ribs "Do you feel pain here, Mr. Kana??" Gulf sat there staring at Mew's face. He couldn't hear anything Mew said because this time...he himself heard it...his hear racing heart...feeling the rhythm even in his ears as if he had just ran away from a shoot-out.
