Driving,

Gulf came out of his thoughts when he felt Mew hands over his, Gulf turned to see Mew smiling back at him pointing towards the road with his eyes. Gulf turned ahead to see the go-signal and heard the horns from around, Gulf at once drove the car forward while Mew just smiled. Gulf's phone buzzed aloud gaining Gulf's attention; he quickly checked his message, typed in one hand and kept the phone aside focussing in the road. Finally remembering the people around Gulf, Mew turned and asked "Any news on your brother from the hospital?" Gulf nodded "Ya! He's better; all his reports were okay, so they discharged him this morning...Leo's picked him up! After I drop you I'll go see him" Gulf answered. Mew nodded but suddenly looked at Gulf surprised "You mean Mild's been discharged?" Gulf turned to Mild at the question and slowly nodded in response.

          Mew looked confused for a second, "then...why are we...?" Mew turned himself towards Gulf "Wait! You're coming this way just to drive me to the hospital!" somehow the mere thought of it seem a little unbelievable for Mew. Gulf nodded in response while being focussed on the next turn, Mew called Gulf with a stern voice "Mr. Kana?" Gulf smiled without taking his eyes off the road. "Gulf!" he answered confusing Mew, Gulf turned to him "...you can call me Gulf from now on..." mew froze hearing Gulf say it with a smile. Shaking his head, Mew looked at Gulf trying to not get distracted this time "That's not important now!" he answered seriously. Mew let out a deep breath looking at Gulf, and for the next few minutes argued and convinced Gulf to slow the car to the side. Both of them got down, Gulf still lingering near the driver side "But Doc...its just another 10 mins drive...I..." Mew walked towards him cutting him off "Exactly! And I can drive those 10 mins...now stop worrying about me and go see your brother...if at all he feels any pain! Bring him to the hospital!!" Mew said pushing past Gulf to get in the driver's seat.

      Gulf stepped onto the sideway sulking, still in disbelief that Mew used their night before as an example to prove he is good enough to drive. Mew smiles at his sulking expression and waves a bye before driving off, with his eyes still noticing Gulf watching him, from the side view mirror. Gulf smiled watching the car drive into the traffic; he took out his phone and dialled a number "Leo! How is Phi? Is he okay??" he paused and nodded, "Okay! Stay with him for some more time...I need to stop by somewhere!" he cut the call and looked up from the phone with no trace of a smile. Just as Mew focussed on the road, his phone rang connecting to the car and as soon as he saw the name 'LUKE' on the ID screen, his face turned serious; gripping the steering wheel harder he answered the call.

Hospital,

Mew wished everyone he could recognise on his way to the room with a big smile, including Alex and Max who were standing at the nurse's station just outside Mew's room. Mew casually took the appointment chart from Max hand and walked into his room. Curious yet excited by his reaction, Max quickly glanced at Alex before following him into his room. "I didn't know it was going to be such a good morning? That pain killer must have worked wonders for you??" Max asked with his eyebrows raised stressing on his words, while maintaining a safe distance away from Mew. Mew put his bag on the side table, walked to the coat stand, and turned towards Max with a straight face having the coat in his hand "It worked fine...and yes I'm in a happy mood because my sister is in town!" Mew answered throwing his coat over his shoulder while Max smile dropped a little confused. "Becky's' in town?" Max asked while Mew nodded walking to his table and just as he was about to sit down he bumped his bandaged hand onto the table making him wince aloud. Max at once rushed towards Mew worried, "Careful...god! You should have stayed at home and taken rest...for a doctor you are definitely the worst patient!" Max scolded Mew unaware of the glare he was receiving in return.

         Finally feeling the chillness at his ears, he turned to see Mew smiling down at him "Thanks!" he said softly before he circled his arms around Max's neck pulling him down like an old wrestling move. Max at once tapped over Mew's strong hold feeling "Ahh ahh ahh...let go...it hurts...Mew it reallllly hurt!" he screamed in pain while Mew smile nonchalant to his words. Max was having a hard time struggling out of his hold, "...and this is for ratting me out to Gulf...while I was UNCONCIOUS!!" Mew whispered in a threatening tone, gripping a little harder and letting go. Max stumbled back holding his neck grunting in residual pain, he looked at Mew to argue something but stopped looking at his smirk. Max slightly tilted his head "Something wonderful must have happened between you two!" he commented while Mew held a calm façade while the memory of every kiss from the night before kept playing in his mind. Not wanting to get hit again, Max leaped towards the door "Your action just said you're pissed at me...your face is saying something else...so?..." Max narrowed his eyes on Mew who just replied "Get out!" with a straight face. Max knowing he didn't want to strangled walked out of the room with his hands raised still smiling at his friend, Mew shook his head as he sat down but couldn't contain his smile as soon as the door closed behind Max.

Gulf's Bar

Gulf walked into the bar without paying a heed to the surrounding...even so his brother who sat in the middle of the waiting for him. Mild watched as Gulf walk passed him, "Wow! So this is what I get for returning from the hospital...twice?" he spoke aloud startling Gulf out of his thoughts. Gulf turned and his eyes grew wide open seeing his brother "Oh my god, Phi...I'm so sorry...I was thinking of something...I'm really very sorry Phi! Are you Okay? Leo said that you were feeling tired?? Have you eaten? Did you take your tablets? Why are sitting here?? C'mon I'll take you to your room!" Gulf ran to his brother, bombarding him with questions. Mild raised his hand to stop Gulf from asking anymore, "I'm fine! I'm waiting for you...Is Dr. Mew okay?" he asked genuinely concerned about the doc. Gulf took a deep breath and nodded "Ya! He's okay...apparently he's more stubborn than me...he went back to work in the morning itself!" Gulf shrugged answering making Mild smile. Mild suddenly confused voiced his thought, "If he went back to work in the morning...where have you been until now?? It's almost 3 pm!" Gulf took a breath and stood up with a slight wince that went unnoticed by Mild.

       "I went to take a look at the burnt warehouse!" Gulf answered in a serious tone, Mild grew a little serious "were you able to go past the cops? Did you find anything??" Mild asked understanding why Gulf was so lot on thoughts a few minutes ago. Gulf nodded slowly "Ya...the place is almost completely burnt..." Mild let out a deep sigh "We already know who it was...so we might not have got anything useful either" he said thinking about the men. Mild looked up sensing Gulf's silent storm inside, "Maybe...or maybe not..." he slowly answered and looked at his brother with a small smile. Mild could tell he wasn't telling him the whole story but he didn't press on it anymore; Mild finally noticed the odd position Gulf was standing. He looked at him "Are you okay? Did you hurt your leg or something??" he asked worriedly while Gulf serious face changed into a nervous one. Clearing his throat Gulf answered "Of course I'm okay...just a little tired!" he answered avoiding eye-contact with Mild his who could already see the redness in Gulf's face, Mild nodded in return with a smirk on his face. Gulf spoke hurriedly trying to change his thoughts, "I met his sister though!" he said aloud that for some reason made Mild surprised yet excited. Gulf laughed at his brother's enthusiasm while he continued to narrate that fateful event to him...leaving out the major portion of the night.

Triz who was on the first floor of the bar, watched as Gulf talked about his day with the doc that saved him and his brother, with a small smile. She barely noticed Leo who slowly walked next to her, "I know you must be hurting!" he stated while having his eyes fixed on the brothers as well. Triz looked at Leo and smiled sadly, everyone knew about her crush on Gulf except for the brothers themselves. They were always so focussed and closed from the world, that they barely noticed anyone else until it was necessary...and if not for the clients that often come to her bar, they would not have known her either. Triz let out a small chuckle "How long have I known you guys?" she asked out of the blue, though confused Leo answered "about 4 years!" making Triz nod her head. Triz turned to Leo "4 YEARS...I've never seen him this happy...never a smile like that..." she replied with a content smile and turned back to see Gulf with the same look while Leo just watched her in fascination. Feeling his stare, Triz looked at Leo "What?" she asked breaking him out of his stare; Triz chuckled "...haven't you ever felt the satisfaction of just seeing the one you like...smile?" she asked surprising Leo.

            His mind reminded him of all the times his heart the warmth from someone's smile, Leo face slowly cracked into a smile thinking of the feeling. Noticing the change in Leo's face, Triz was about to question him when another voice started both of them. Fiat jumped next to them "Now that everyone's here...can we eat...I'm so hungry...c'mon Triz...P'leo??" he whined like a child holding each one's hand, making Triz roll her eyes laughing. While Leo just stood frozen, looking at THAT someone whose every move warmed his heart...made him happy every time HE called his name...and his heart race every time he touched him, just like now.

So, that's the end of chapter 21...im sorry of it felt a little choppy, I had to rewrite a few parts to reduce the size still it came this long. Do what did you think of the chapter...both parts, let's me know on tje comments.
