"(Y/n) are you still looking for an agency?" Aizawa asks his cousin.
The woman groans softly as she eats her breakfast. "I'm going to be working for Enji."
"Endeavor, really?"
"Is it that surprising? He's the number 1 hero. I wanna be on the front lines with him."
The teacher sighs and nods. "Head strong and ambitious. You get that from your mother."
"Papa said I got a lot from her. My looks, half my quirk and my personality."
"I didn't think you'd get our eraser too but I guess it's not too off."
"I can't use them together very well though. Four eyes, four arms and wings... that's a lot to manage at once. Then to add erasing quirks?" The woman sighs and looks away.
Aizawa rubs her back and makes a serious face. "You're very talented though. You've trained hard and Endeavor is lucky to have you."

"Hey uh, Sho...?" (Y/n) trails off, then looks into her cousin's eyes.
He looks at her confused. "What's wrong?"
"I'm probably not supposed to tell you, but I don't wanna keep this from you. I'm, as of two days from now, I'll be working as a double agent. HC is sending Keigo and I in. I'm scared but I want you to know I'm ready. I don't want you to worry or try to talk me out of it."
The ravenette's eyes widen. "(Y/n) I-"
"Don't worry about me! I'm a grown woman and I can make my own decisions. I only told you because I knew I couldn't hide it."
He pinches the bridge of his nose and groans. "(Y/n) just...please be careful. I won't lose you too."
"I don't feel like dying, so I don't plan on getting hurt or killed." She responds and smiles softly.

Days later (Y/n) meets up with Keigo as they begin patrol.
"I can't believe Enji dumped me with a newbie. After all the things I've done for him he can't patrol with me?" The blonde grumbles as he floats above the (h/c) woman.
The more the bird complains the more (Y/n) wants to punch him.
Around sunset (Y/n) finally snaps.
She begins angrily ranting in Spanish. She paces back and forth and uses her hands to emphasize her frustration.
Hawks watches, surprised. He enjoys hearing her speak a different language though.
Finally she ends with a loud groan into her hands.

"Hey kid are you ok? I didn't understand a word you just said."
(Y/n) growls as she glares at the blonde. "Ya know, I was looking forward to working with you, especially seeing as how I could die if they found out. But now I regret saying I'd work with you. You're acting like an arrogant asshole to a stranger. No wonder Enji doesn't like you."
"He said that for real?"
Of course the only thing he cares about is his idol.
More growls follow suit and she flies away.
"Kid wait up!" Keigo flies after her, catching up quickly.
"I'm going back to report to Toga or Shiggy. Why don't you go talk to your burnt boyfriend."
The bird looks at the girl confused then rolls his eyes. "Look, kid, I'm sorry. I'm not usually like this when I first meet people. I'm just bummed that I'm not working with Endeavor today."
"Well sucks to suck. I'm powerful and you know what?! I'm a fun person to have around. You're missing out." She crosses her arms and grips her biceps.
Now she was self conscious.

"What is your quirk anyways? I've never seen you fight before." Hawks asks, trying to break the growing tension.
"I gain two eyes, two arms and a pair of wings. I can also erase a certain amount of quirks at once. I use my knowledge of hand to hand combat more effectively when I have four arms."
"That sounds like a creepy ass quirk. Where are the other two eyes?"
(Y/n) frowns at his insult. "Why do you think I wear goggles on the back of my head?" She questions instead.
Hawks nods silently. He could tell he was making things worse.
(Y/n) lands on the ground and knocks on the door of the building.
Soon enough the door opens and Dabi stands there smirking.
"Took you long enough to get back."

Over the next few weeks, and Hawks is paired with (Y/n) for patrol nearly everyday, he began to make a better impression.
What started out as him being a huge jerk has turned into him being a cocky asshole that she can at least have a fun time with.
She gets him out of trouble with Dabi and he watches her back when they're fighting a villain.
(Even if she has eyes on the back of her head)
It was sudden, and hit him like a ton of bricks.
The blonde watches his partner fighting, as if time was in slow motion.
The way her hair flows in the wind, her wings flapping slowly and both sets of arms knocking out the villain.
The color of all her eyes seem to change in the sunlight.
The heart of the number two hero beats faster and his cheeks heat up slightly.
Obviously he hides it and distracts himself by fighting his own bad guys.
That was when he realized, he was falling for his female partner.

(Y/n) being the oblivious type didn't take note of Keigo's recent change in behavior.
His flirting went over her head. His kind gestures, such as holding the door or buying her food just made her think he was trying to not be an ass.
Especially after his first impression, she was making him work for his redemption.
Hawks was starting to think it was hopeless. He didn't want to just come out and say it, especially if she didn't feel the same.
She gave him no hints of attraction.
Even if the contrary is true.

(Y/n) may have been unaware of his advances but the same could not be said for her raven haired cousin.
Shota noticed early on, of course being too lazy to do anything about it. He saw the romance was going nowhere so he figured it was safe to stay quiet for the time being.
Hawks was surprised when he was confronted by the teacher but he didn't deny it.
"I find this one sided love quite amusing to watch. She has no idea that you like her. As much as I should rant about you not being good enough for her or how you better take good care of her, I'm too tired to."
"What are you saying, Eraser?" Keigo grumbles.
"I'm saying that if you want her, you have to tell it to her straight. I don't know for sure if she has any feelings for you but it won't be the end of the world if you confess."
"Are you giving me your blessing? You aren't her father... right? That math doesn't add up."
"She's my cousin. I'm the only family she has."
Hawks nods in understanding, now contemplating.

(Y/n) was scolded by Dabi for the upteenth time so she goes to the roof to calm down.
Her feathers puff out but as she calms down they go back to normal.
"Hey kid, you ok?" Keigo asks, flying over.
"Do I look ok?" She asks, dripping with sass and sarcasm.
The blonde laughs softly as he sits next to her. "Sorry. Dumb question. Was it Dabi again?"
The (h/c) nods and looks away. "Yeah... Can I be honest with you for a minute?"
"Of course. What's bothering you?"
"I agreed to do this with you and I thought I would be ok. I thought I was strong enough to endure. But sometimes I think I'm gonna crack. Like I'm gonna say something to fuck everything up. I don't want you to be in danger. I just want to go back to living a normal, boring life as a low ranked hero."
Hawks listens silently but nods along to show he was listening and understanding. "Baby bird it's ok to feel like this. Going under cover is difficult and not everyone is up for the task. So far you've been doing amazing, had me fooled a few times even. But if you allow me to, if you want me to, I'll stay by your side and we can do this together."
"Stay by my side? We've been doing this together since the beginning. I'm grateful to you."
"No um... what I mean is..." Keigo keeps trailing off, nervous for rejection.
(Y/n) waits patiently for him to continue though.
Hawks holds (Y/n)'s hand and looks into her eyes. "I want you to be my girlfriend. I'll stay by your side through thick and thin. We can do this, together. Partners in heroism and partners in love."

The woman blushes deeply. "L-love? You love m-me?" She stutters and stumbles over her words.
His nod makes her blush more and quickly advert her gaze.
"Love..." she whispers and trails off.
Silence fills the air and the longer it lasted the more his heart hurt.
Why should I expect anything else? Of course she wouldn't feel the same. He thinks to himself.
He pulls his hand away but she quickly grabs it again.
"Y-yes!" She exclaims. "I don't know if it's love per say, I think I have... feelings? for you too." Her expressions range from smiling to frowning and some confusion.
Like her mind and heart won't see eye to eye.
"So you'll be my girlfriend?" He asks for confirmation.
(Y/n) smiles widely and nods.
Her expression brightens like the clouds parting.
"I wanna be your girlfriend."
Keigo smiles and kisses her gently.
One hand squeezes hers and the other cups her cheek, rubbing it with his thumb.
Her hands do the same.
When she pulls away she leans her forehead against his.
"As long as you aren't an arrogant asshole anymore."
Keigo laughs softly and nods. "Just a cocky, selfish bastard."
(Y/n) nods in approval and kisses him this time.
