I'm sorry for the way you had to fake your fever so that for once you would have your parent's attention. I'm sorry that you have to talk about it like everything was all alright. That it's just a normal bad day of your childhood. I'm sorry for the things you didn't deserve to experience. That you have to learn about life in ways that will haunt you forever. In ways that it will always be a part of you, and is always there with you. I'm sorry for all those internal battles you have fought throughout your childhood.
