Thirteen

Darcy fell on Johnny's arms, and he cried into her chest and she lay in his arms. She died almost instantly, and everyone around couldn't move. Johnny was the only one who screamed until he couldn't any longer. He knew she was dead. And he hated the fact that he had to live with this for the rest of his life.

He stood by her side at the hospital, and everyone broke out into cries when they found out she didn't make it. Johnny ran to her room, and held her cold hand while burying his face into the bed. He didn't want to leave her side, and everyone knew that. But he had to.

When he got to his house everything seemed quiet. Mainly because his parents weren't around, they had left for a nightly stay in the bar but it turned into three nights.

The boys didn't want to leave his or Dally's side. Dally couldn't move one bit, neither could Kelly. She blamed herself for Darcy's death ever since because she was the one who came up with the idea of them two coming to the rumble.

Everyone became numb, they didn't want to speak a word because they knew both of their friends (and boyfriend) was hurting.

Darcy is dead. That thought popped up into Johnny's head numerous of times. He didn't want to believe it, he wished that he could've done something to save her. He thought he had endless possibilities.

Bob and Randy got out into jail that cold summer month. And no one spoke to each other until maybe a month or so after the Darcy and Johnny incident.

Johnny ended up not being able to handle the pain of losing his girlfriend in cold blooded murder. So when the boys left his house to go get something for him, he grabbed a gun, and shot himself. He died instantly just like Darcy, and the boys were traumatized when they saw his body lying there.

Johnny's mother and father ended up selling that house. But no one bought it. They knew that was where the couples sixteen year old son had shot himself dead. And no one tried to believe it.
