Darcy

Today was the night of the movies and a part of me couldn't be ever more excited than I was.

Dally invited Kelly over, so I had to be at least a little quiet or not bother them at all. Kelly was nice, and she seemed good for Dally. I'm just happy that he's happy after Sylvia. Still hate that bitch, and she's tried getting in touch with Dally but it always fails, and I think it always will.

I said hello to her and that was it before I took a quick shower and got into some nice clothes. They weren't the ones I had picked out to wear for the movies tonight, but they'll do until then.

I made sure not to bother Dally and Kelly some. But I would peek in and see them laughing at the TV. Dally finally seemed happy for once, brighter even.

Then the home phone rang and I knew I was the one to answer it. So I did.

"Hey Darcy," I girl behind the phone said.
"Who's this?" I asked.
"You're all time favorite, Al-" She tried to say but I interrupted her.
"Allie Marshall!" I yelled a little too loud.

Allie was around Darry's age, but she was apart of the gang. Her parents were drunks like ours, but then her mom died of an overdose and we dad finally stopped being an asshole when he met her step mom. Whom we loved as much as we loved her real mom. She was like a big sister to me and I loved her dearly. But after high school ended she left for the big city of Los Angeles after she got into the University of California, Los Angeles. She never really called much, but we understood why. That college was serious about work and if she wanted to pursue her dreams into becoming a model, she had to work hard. But she called every often. But mainly stopped after that.

I talked to her for a few more minutes. About Dally and Kelly, and how Johnny and I are a thing now.

"Say, I'm coming down in a few months since the semester is ending. I'll have to call to guys then since I'll be busy. This is my last phone call but remember I will see you soon and I love you so much. Tell Dally, and I'm guessing his new girlfriend Kelly. Also congratulations on Johnny and you. I knew you guys would make such a great couple. Love you!" She said and the phone seconds after I said, "I love you too" back.

"Who was that on the phone?" Asked Dally.
"Allie Marshall" I said and walked into my room before closing the door.

I plopped on my bed and sighed. It was going to suck without another phone call from Allie, but hopefully I'll see her when her semester ends. And hopefully time goes by fast so the movies can start very soon.
