Chapter 10

News reporters were swarming around UA's front gate, with EraserHead and Present Mic being crowd control, while a teen stood behind the group of reporters with glaring eyes.

*Meanwhile*

Izuku had gotten a little volatile.

Any time either Uraraka or his sister walked up to him. He would either ignore them until they leave or respond in a crude way to make them leave.

He was not gentle either.

*Skits*

"Hey Izuku! I was wondering if you could come over an help with some homework?"

Izuku, without missing a beat, looked Uraraka in the eyes.

"If you mean I spend an entire day's worth of training learning nothing with you, I'll pass."

Izuku then left the gym and a disappointed Uraraka.

*Skit2*

Izumi sat in the classroom bored out of her mind. Bakugo was in the restroom while Yo was flirting with other girls. Her eyes landed on a sleeping Izuku so she smirked as she aligned a piece of chalk with Izuku and flung it toward him.

Before she could even laugh Izuku's right eye snapped open as he caught the chalk with his hand. Izumi and the class remained silent as he placed it back on the chalkboard.

*End of Skits*

'What is happening to me?'

'"I'll tell ya what's happening, we're becoming Men!"'

Izuku groaned at the new voice. He had counted three voices before the practical exam, Shiva and the orb with one other, and now he had around seven different voices.

'Well, at least things can't get any worse.'

Class had started once the news reporters were dealt with. Izuku wrote down everything said and written on the board while Mina had sent him a text. Halfway through the class Izuku checked his phone to see her and himself smiling when they were children. He smiled on remembering the peace he had before Izumi had taken it from him.

He slightly grimaced at the thought of his sister. Before smiling again as the bell rang throughout the school, signaling the end of the day.

"Hey Yagi! Wanna head to a arcade?"

Izuku turned around to see Kirishima, Sero, and Todoroki. He chuckled nervously as he replied.

"Sorry, but I'm gonna have to pass. I have a strict training regiment that I have to stick to."

Kirishima was still smiling as he patted Izuku's shoulder.

"It was worth a shot, see ya around Yagi!"

The three boys left, engaging in a conversation, while Izuku resumed packing his bags. Until a hand hit his head.

His instincts took over and a fist appeared very close to Setsuna's face. A few mere centimeters were all that stood between his fist colliding with her face.

"Ah! I-I am so sorry Setsu!"

Izuku pulled his fist back to see Setsuna a little surprised how fast he could throw a hit. However a more pressing matter had reappeared and Setsuna furrowed her eyebrows slightly.

"Izu! You need to make friends!"

"But..I have you, Mina, an Kyo."

Setsuna began blushing but remained firm in her argument.

"I mean guy friends, Izu. While I am happy, scratch that, excited we're in a relationship now. You need actual friends you can hang out with, just, think about it. Ok?"

Setsuna left with Mina shortly after while Izuku was now in conflict. He did want friends, it would be nice to have some again, but he also wanted to train. He wasn't lying about it being strict. Shiva told him if he took one day off his body in a week would collapse in on itself from the power he held. Today was working on his Kickboxing and 'Divine Reflection'.

A light bulb went off in Izuku's mind.

*At the Arcade*

Kirishima fist pumped the air as he made a new high score on his favorite game. Todoroki an Sero, who was still wearing shades, were at a skeeball machine taking turns.

At the entrance Izuku walked in and his eyes quickly landed on the punching machine he had seen a couple of times. It was designed after a fight his father had with a villain. The best part was that quirks were allowed, however, the punching machine sent that force back to the attacker if it wasn't strong enough.

"Hey Yagi!"

Izuku glanced and saw Kirishima walking up to him.

"I thought you had a tight schedule?"

"Well, I guess just one day couldn't hurt. I'll pick up on training tomorrow."

His eyes glanced at the punching machine before turning his gaze back to Kirishima, while Sero an Todoroki stood off to the side.

"Hey Kirishima, wanna have a go?"

Izuku gestured toward his target as Kirishima grew a competitive smirk.

"Sure, if I win, you have to pay for the food later."

"An if I win. You pay for it."

"Deal!"

The two shook hands but as they were sealing the deal. Kirishima saw a dragon behind Izuku instantly intimidating him. He jumped back in surprise only to see the dragon was gone.

"Everything alright KiriBro?"

Sero placed his hand on his shoulder an Kirishima quickly shook off the intimidation.

"I'm good SeroBro! Come on YagiBro! The quicker I beat you the faster we can get to eating!"

Izuku gave a firm nod as the two walked toward the machine. Standing next to it was an employee he glanced at the two and smirked.

'Heh, easy money.'

The man waved as he explained the rules to Izuku and Kirishima.

"Alright, so here is a quick run down. Your quirk is allowed, as long as it isn't a projectile quirk, only strength type quirks are allowed. An here is a small waver that releases us from being sued for any injuries that may be involved."

Izuku an Kirishima signed the paper and the man placed it behind the machine and smirked. Behind the machine was a dial of how much force would be sent back. He turned it all the way to 'Realistic', which was the highest setting, and let Kirishima go first.

"Careful YagiBro, you might want to hang on to something!"

'Pfft, what a chump!'

Izuku glanced at the man, seeing him snicker, he smirked as he stopped Kirishima's punch.

"Hang on a second KiriBro."

The man visibly flinched, thinking he was caught, only to smirk as Izuku pulled his fist back.

"Let me go first."

Kirishima saw the dragon again, but instead of looking at him, it was glaring at the man. It seemed that when Izuku was serious a dragon would appear to show his strength.

"Go ahead, but be careful."

'I'll wipe that smug look off your face!'

Izuku pulled his fist back, using only his Kickboxing right hook for a test, and punched the machine. Like he expected nearly nothing was sent back to him. Well it wasn't nothing to Kirishima and the others. They felt a good amount of air blow them back a step, an yet, the machine was unscathed.

The man simply smiled as Izuku's punch barely had any effect on his most prized money maker.

"Alright YagiBro, my turn!"

Kirishima tried stepping up to punch but was held back by Todoroki.

"TodoBro?"

Todoroki was visibly shaking as he gazed at Izuku. The pressure in the room suddenly dropped as Izuku pulled his fist back once more. His eyes began straining a little but Izuku pushed on. Kirishima once again saw a being form around Izuku however it wasn't a dragon this time. The being looked like an exact copy of Izuku except he was way older.

"Divine Reflection."

Izuku held his breath as time slowed to a stop. He could move freely while time remained frozen to him, as long as he was focused. Izuku's eyes were becoming dry quickly than he anticipated an used his unfinished move.

"The Fist that Surpassed Time."

With a incredible amount of force Izuku threw his fist toward the machine as it collided the machine was torn in half as Izuku's punch ripped through the machine like it was paper. The man was on the ground staring up in shock that his machine was broken beyond repair and Izuku had won. Kirishima gulped as he saw the man smile at him before vanishing, he swore the man looked familiar.

"Excuse me, Good sir?"

The man glanced at Izuku, who held a smug smirk, as he held his hand out.

"I believe I deserve my reward?"

Todoroki left the arcade with different types of soba, slightly drooling, an Sero walked out with an arcade game of his choice, being wheeled out in a cart. Kirishima walked out in grief he had to pay for their meal. Izuku walked out with three giant stuffed animals, two guitars, and finally nine movie tickets to the newest action movie.

"Alright guys, food is on me!"

Kirishima looked up at Izuku with a confused face, while Todoroki was making himself a bowl of soba on a nearby bench.

"But..you won the bet. Didn't we agree that I would pay if you win?"

Izuku rubbed the back of his head sheepishly as he gave his explanation.

"Well, you didn't really have a try KiriBro. An plus I used another punch, my first hit was for the bet and since it barely did anything, I lost."

Kirishima raised his eyebrow curiously before sighing with smile forming.

"You know, we really gotta train together."

Izuku smiled as he nodded his head. The four walked to the nearest restaurant and enjoyed themselves. While the scam artist dramatically mourned for his machine.

*Meanwhile*

Mina and Setsuna were walking home before seeing Izuku leave a restaurant with Kirishima and the others.

"Well would you look at that, Izzie found himself some friends."

"I'm just glad he listened, honestly, I think he only has exercising on his mind."

Mina smiled deviously as she turned to Setsuna.

"So you're admitting that you don't stare at Izuku's shirtless body when he's sparring with Shiva out at the beach?"

Setsuna received a nosebleed from seeing Izuku panting hard and covered in sweat.

"No comment..."

The two ran up to Izuku as he waved goodbye to the guys. Mina jumped into his arms, Izuku catching her bridal style, while Setsuna jumped onto his back.

"Did you have a good time Izu?"

Izuku glanced at the three walking away and smiled. He made new friends, new bonds he knows he can rely on, his gaze met his lizard loving girlfriend as he began walking.

"You know, you were right Setsu. I did need some guy friends."

To be Continued.
