Jisung skipped happily through the hall in what can be considered as the hidden mansion of the Yi clan.

His best friend besides him don't know why the prince is so happy today since he wouldn't tell him anything from the conversation he had with the emperor yesterday.

"Aren't you going to share with me what you know hyung? I thought we're all in this together?"

The Joseon prince towards him and point, "That remind me of that one movie", he said, completely ignoring the younger's other words.

It's not like he has anything to hide but he knows how much Jeongin resent Minho so telling what happened yesterday is basically a suicide mission.

He practically begging Minho to come back with him to Korean Empire, not because he was scared that the older might ruined the past and history but because he just want the older to be with him.

Which is totally not part of their plan, or Jeongin's plan.

"I'm serious hyung!"

"You rude punk, I'm the prince here!"

Jeongin sighed, knowing that again, he could never win against this squirrel looking stubborn prince of Joseon. "Your Highness.. Your Highness should remember the reason why we are here in the first place"

"Look, I have tried my best okay? For now, let's just focus on not getting notice by other-", the moment those words rolled off his tongue, someone came running up to the two.

That person literally throw himself onto the floor in front of them, bowing. "YOUR HIGHNESS!", the eunuch screamed.

Both Jisung and Jeongin panicked. They look around to see if the other people heard it too and unfortunately, Emperor Yi along with a few guards behind him are on their way here.

"I- I'm not your Your Highness! G-Go away!". The prince tried every little things to move the eunuch away but he won't budge. "Hyung! He's on his way here! We gotta go!"

"Stop complaining and help me move this man!"

The eunuch look up from his bowing position and that's when he and Jisung accidently meet each other's eyes.

The boy widened his eyes and panic even more. He tried to run away with Jeongin who was starting to drag him but a force on his leg hold him back. "Let go of me!", the Joseon prince screamed.

The eunuch was still latching on the prince's left leg and it's seems like he won't let go anytime soon.

That action of his soon backfired when the prince kept on trying to get his leg out from his grip by jumping over and over again. With Jeongin who tried to help his best friend out, Jisung fall face first onto the floor by accident.

"YOUR HIGHNESS! OH GOD!"

The eunuch was about to help the prince up but he doesn't have the time to do that since the emperor was already right in front of them. "What's going on here?"

Surprised by the sudden presence of the emperor, the eunuch scramble back onto his feet, bowing as he too afraid to look at the emperor in the eyes.

"Emperor Yi, I-"

All of them turned their attention towards Jisung when they heard a sniffling sound from someone who was sitting on the floor.

They widened their eyes when they saw the prince was actually sniffling on his blood that's coming out of his nose.

"Hyung! You're bleeding!", Jeongin screamed in panic and tried to grab the closest thing that can be used to wipe off the blood and that is his own handkerchief he got from Korean Empire.

"Yeah, I wonder why.."

Eunuch Yong was quick to kneel on the floor in front of the bleeding prince. "I'M SORRY YOUR HIGHNESS! I HAVE COMMITTED A BIG SIN! PLEASE KILL ME NOW YOUR HIGHNESS!", the man begged.

Jisung was about to wave him off saying that it's fine. With his loud yelling, other people in the mansion probably know about his existence here by now.

"If that's what you wish then fine"

The Emperor Yi took out his sword from its case and swing it upwards, ready to slice off Eunuch Yong's head with no hesitation.

"WAIT HYUNG!"

Then it happened again. The time stopped.

Jisung widened his eyes in shock to the point where he had to use his elbows as he dropped further onto the floor. 

He thought that as soon as he goes back to Joseon, this kind of stuff won't happen again but surprisingly, it did.

The first ting that he does after recovering from the shock state is to remove Minho's sword from his grip. He throw it elsewhere that he is sure won't hurt anyone.

He counted the seconds as he look around, trying to figure out the time.

As soon as he took a step forward again, a stinging feeling hit his head. "Ack!", he groaned in pain as he grip his hair as tight as he can, wishing the pain to go away soon.

But it didn't and as seconds passed by, it's only getting worse. He thought that his head was smashed into a wall or someone stabbed him in the skull or something.

He blinked the tears away and tried to balance himself.

"What the- Where the hell did my sword go?", he heard the emperor mumbled to himself which mean that the time had finally started moving again.

The prince sighed in relief as he thought that he was going to die if someone doesn't help him soon.

This time, the time stopped for 13 seconds. Jisung is pretty sure that 13 is not exactly a good number but he couldn't identify the time as the pain in his head grew, "J-Jeongi-in ah.."

"Hyung? Where are- OH MY GOD HYUNG! Are you okay?!"

The youngest boy exclaimed the moment he saw the prince in a painful state and rushed to his side. Minho also did the same thing but he told the guards to call the physician.

Jisung closed his eyes to lessen the pain but it's still not working so the only option he has is to bear it. 

He gritted his teeth and hold whatever is close to him tight. "Hannie? Open your eyes darling", Minho put his hand over the prince's hand and whispered into his ears.

"LOOK WHAT YOU DID!", the emperor furiously screamed at the eunuch who kept bowing and was too shock to say anything.

The two, Jeongin and Minho wait outside of the room that the Joseon prince was currently being treated in.

This situation they're in reminded both of them to the day when the Imjin War happened. The time when they both were waiting for the prince to get change.

The difference is that they have so many questions to ask one another but hold themselves back from asking. 

But Jeongin saw the hesitation from the older's expression and so he decided to take one for the team, "When are you going back?", he asked first.

The emperor just stay silence, not because he was ignoring the boy but even he himself don't know the answer to that question. "Are you even planning to come back? You seem like you still have unfinished business here"

"I promised him.."

"Promised who and promised him what?"

Minho look at Jeongin abruptly. The boy can see the regret in the other's eyes as he does so. "I promised to come back with him.. And protect him"

"I.. I don't think it's that serious... Maybe it's just the side effect from the bleeding nose..?", he tried to reassure the clearly stressed emperor.

He doesn't know why but seeing the emperor in this state made his hatred for the other lessen a little. Maybe it's because how genuine and regretful he seems towards Jisung's pain?

"I don't think it has anything to do with the nosebleed"

"Why not?"

"Maybe.. It's the side effect from the time travelling? We both know who he really is"

Jeongin sighed and nodded, agreeing with the older's statement. If anything, Jisung is not someone who was meant to travel through time in the first place. "But.."

The boy was hesitating to tell Minho this but he figured that it's better to do so, "He told me that the time stopped twice for him"

"Hm? The time.. Stopped? When?", the emperor asked. He never knew the time travel effect would be that serious for the prince. "When we were in Korean Empire"

Now that's what confused both of them even more. Things should be fine once Jisung is in Korean Empire and nothing would happen to him. That is why Jeongin was told to bring the Joseon prince there.

"That shouldn't happen though.."

"Hm, that's why I didn't believe him at first.. I thought he was influenced by those western movies"

If the time had already stop for two times, it's not impossible for the time to stop for the third time, that's what Minho realized.

That explains why his sword was nowhere to be found when he was about to beheaded the eunuch earlier. Maybe Jisung removed it the moment it stopped. "I think the time stopped again for him"

"Why? Wait-.. Don't tell me it's when you lost your sword.."

"I think so.. Like, he was fine before that right?"

This just made Jeongin even more worried for his best friend. "But I don't get it? Where should he be then?? He is not safe in Joseon, but the side effects are not any better in Korean Empire... What are we supposed to do?"

"We need to go back as soon as he wakes up, this is not where he belongs..", the emperor suggested. 

He doesn't even have any ideas onto why Jisung is having these effects. So in order to understand the boy, he needs to keep a close eyes on him. "He's going to stay with me"

The youngest boy turned his whole body, facing the emperor so quickly that it scared the other. "Are you crazy?! What am I supposed to explain to his housemates??", he panicked.

He got to know both of the prince's housemates in Korean Empire and they are very, like VERY protective over the squirrel looking prince.

Not to mention the fact that both of them are police officers just intimidated him more. Hyunjin and Felix, well maybe Felix is an exception, are not the people who Jeongin would like to meet again in his next life.

"I'm pretty sure they already know about it considering the fact that Changbin is under their arrest right now"

"You- Is that why you framed him?"

"Of course, what did you take me for?", Minho chuckled. He already has everything planned out.

He knows that Jisung was going to come back to Joseon to find him and as for the victim, like he said, it was just a bait for Changbin.

Before they know, the physician finally came out of the room, assuming that he's done with  examining the prince, both Minho and Jeongin came up to him.

"How is His Highness?", Jeongin asked, referring Jisung with his royal tittle.

Minho probably have to threaten the physician to not spread information about the 'missing' prince of Joseon right after this.

"For now, let His Highness take a rest.. It is something beyond my knowledge to know what's going on.. It seems like His Highness have taken care of himself very well so it's a bit mysterious on why His Highness was suffering such a headache..."

Hearing that explanation from the physician, the two look at each other, both worried for the prince's health.

They let the old man to leave them alone first before expressing their thoughts, "We need to go back now.."

"Do you have the jade?"

Jeongin showed the other his green jade necklace that was hidden under the fabrics. They walked into the room and walked towards the prince.

"Wait-", the boy hold the emperor from getting closer to the prince and ask for conformation, "He's going to stay with you..?"

Minho just nodded and got closer to Jisung. If he brings the squirrel looking boy with him, they both will end up in Minho's office since that was the last place Minho was in at Korean Empire.

But if Jeongin bring Jisung with him then they would probably end up somewhere in Gyeongbokgung Palace, you know? The tourist side.

Without wasting any more time, Minho took the prince in his arms, "Meet me in the office and make sure that Chan won't come in with you", he said.

"I'm at least 20 minutes away from the office, just call him or something, I need to get Jisung hyung's stuff"

"Just bring what necessary first, I will send people later to collect the rest"

And with that, they are ready to go back to Korean Empire. Actually, the main reason why Jisung is going with Minho because they're afraid that they will be separated again like the first time.

Since Minho has brought a few people over to Korean Empire from Joseon, he is more professional in handling these kind of stuffs.

They closed their eyes and wait for the transition to happen.

Once both Minho and Jisung who was still sleeping in the older's arms, are back in Minho's office in Korean Empire, the older make sure to lay the boy as gentle as possible on the couch.

For him, the transition process only took a few seconds while for Jeongin, he mostly took a couple of minutes since he's pretty much an amateur still.

Minho then went to change into his modern outfit to be more comfortable.

He was tempted to change Jisung's outfit too since he thought that the boy might be feeling uncomfortable with those many layers of fabrics in Korean Empire.

But he decided against it and just let the younger boy rest.

Since Jeongin is gonna take awhile, Minho thought that it would be fine to just observe the little changes around him through the big ass window in his office.

As expected, nothing really change except for the news on the giant screen across the building.

He widened his eyes and clenched his fist tight as he read the topic of the news loudly, "Han Jisung.. The King's new lover..?"
