Seungmin wasn't wrong when he thought that spending his limited with the boy in the hanbok named Han Jisung would be so much fun.

The boy is such a positive and bright person, making it very easy to get close to him.

His visual matched his personality well and that's what the guy like about him.

Oh, and believe it or not, he found out the Jisung don't even know who the king of Korean Empire and the reason is because the boy lived in another country for all of his life which is not really a lie.

But shouldn't he at least care about his own country?

Well, no matter what it is, Seungmin is very glad that he met Jisung. The boy don't know who he is and that's enough for him to be himself around the 19 year old boy.

"So, you got here like, two weeks ago?", the king in disguise asked the boy.

Jisung just nodded his head at the question, focusing more on his snacks than to answer the question that people have asked multiple of times. "Oh.."

The conversation then come to an end after that. Seungmin thought that he had say something he shouldn't to the other so he started panicking inside a little bit. Jisung besides him saw this and giggle.

Raising his eyebrows in confusion, Seungmin ask, "Why are you laughing?"

"So I can't laugh now?"

The king widened his eyes at the respond. It's not that he's surprised by what normal people consider as a rude respond to the king, but he's surprised by the fact that his curiosity might came off rude to the boy.

Because of that, Jisung suddenly started laughing even more, taking some people's attention. Even Seungmin was confused by the change. Wasn't he mad before?  

"I'm sorry, hahaha, I was just playing with you so don't worry, I'm not mad"

"But.. Then why did you laugh at first..?"

"You were cute"

The king choked on air after that. His face and ear started to have visible red blush on them, his mouth was left hanging and his eyes are still wide open. "Oh?", he let out, not wanting to be mistaken.

The Joseon prince was about to respond but someone beat him to it when they called out for him, "HAN JISUNG! YOU-"

It was his Australian friend who he had left in the toilet alone earlier since the fella was taking one hell of a time. Rather than using the toilet, Jisung thought he was building the toilet.

Felix stormed up to him, holding a few pieces of tissue papers in hand, "What is that? The toilet's souvenir?", the prince laughed.

His friend, not caring a damn to whoever is around them, hit the boy in the shoulder, playfully of course because he absolutely doesn't have the heart to hurt the boy.

"I told you to wait for me didn't I? What if you got lost here? What am I supposed to tell Hyunjin later?"

"That you lost me because you spent too much time taking a dump?"

Another hit almost was given to the mischievous little prince but Felix had to calm himself down. Jisung would have been beaten to pulp if it wasn't for his patience.

"Screw you", he scoffed.

That's when he finally noticed another presence besides the boy. The person was wearing all black and had his face covered so his identity is unknown to others making him very suspicious.

Felix frowned at this, "Who are you?", he swiftly dragged Jisung behind him, not wanting him to associate himself with the stranger.

"I-"

"Lix, it's fine, he's my new friend! He's very nice"

Turning to face his friend, the officer who's on his day off warned his friend saying that he shouldn't trust anyone who has their face covered. He's saying this as a police officer and not just a friend.

The prince sighed and told the Australian guy not to judge a book by its cover. Not everyone whose face covered are bad guys.

"I'm just trying to take precaution Sung, do you even know his name??", Felix asked with a tone that sounds like he's giving up to the arguments.

Jisung confidently nodded his head, "He is Seungmin! Kim Seungmin!"

The Australian officer obviously didn't believe the boy and thought that he has been fooled by some kind of scammer that tried to rob him.

He had no choice but to take out his police identification card and show it to the unknown guy, "Officer Lee Felix here, do you mind taking off those mask and glasses? It's for identity confirmation purposes" 

Seungmin was taken aback by the sudden presence of authority here. He thought that this guy was just protective of his friend but he is actually a whole ass police officer.

Now that he has proven himself, the unknown guy to him have no choice but to reveal himself if he doesn't want to be arrested for attempted kidnapping, robbery or even murder, who knows?

Felix continue to stare at the guy with the most bored face ever, tired of waiting for him. He was about to get his phone out to call Hyunjin who's at the police station still but he was stopped by the other guy, "W-Wait!"

He halted his action and raised his eyebrows, "Are you going to do it or not? We don't have all day here", he scoffed.

The unknown guy hesitantly nodded and started going after his mask. His actions were all very slow that it had both Felix and Jisung yawned.

The prince doesn't do anything to stop Felix from doing what he's doing. After all, he is the police officer here so he probably knows better.

He just continue on eating his snacks before he was interrupted by a loud, dramatic gasp that he was startle by and accidently choke on his tteokbokki because of that.

"Y-Your M-Majesty!"

In the mid of choking, he heard the mentioned name and quickly turned to look at the scene of Felix bowing to Seungmin at 90 degrees angle. "Y-Your.. Majesty..?", he whispered to himself but the other two managed to hear him.

"Jisung, look, I can explain-"

"Then explain"

Felix got up from his bowing position and rushed to his friend's side, "This is not the time to be a brat Han Jisung!", he whisper yelled, afraid of getting into deep trouble if they ever get to the king's bad side. 

He is just worried for both of their safety, he didn't think the real Kim Seungmin was behind that mask.

But Jisung still haven't budged, wanting his new friend to explain himself. If they were going to be friends, why would they lie to each other in the first place?

Though he can see Felix besides him was panicking like crazy. The latter wonder how this boy managed to attract many people who they weren't supposed to associate themselves with in the first place.

First, the former and probably the future Prime Minister of Korean Empire, Lee Minho and now, Kim Seungmin? The Korean Empire's king himself??? 

What did Jisung do in his past life to receive such attentions from these powerful people in the kingdom?, Felix asked himself internally.

"I...Just wanted to be myself without being acknowledge as the king for once.. That's why I was happy you didn't recognize me at first.. I'm sorry if you feel lied to.."

That short and brief information already soften Jisung a little. 

He totally knows what it's like. He himself always tried to find opportunities to sneak out of the palace when he was still in Joseon. 

Don't get him wrong though, he of course loves his people but wherever he went, he will be stopped by someone just because he was known to be one of the most down to earth prince in the kingdom.

People think of him as a very easy target. Maybe that's why the Japanese was also after him.

So hearing that from the king had Jisung forgive him immediately. He was tempted to tell his exact same experience but he doubted that the other two were going to believe him so he let it be.

"It's okay, must be tough hm? Being the king?", the Joseon prince asked, trying to lighten the mood.

Seungmin smiled after seeing Jisung not being mad at him anymore. He already likes the boy and want to be close to him so he couldn't afford the boy to be mad at him.

"Yeah, thanks Jisung"

"Anything for a friend, right?"

After spending a few more minutes, Felix mentioned that they need to go home as it is getting late and Hyunjin is probably waiting for them at home. He also informed that the king need to go back to the palace as politely as he can.

Seungmin and Jisung exchanged phone numbers as they were about to part ways, making Felix felt like he was third wheeling a new born couple.

Both housemates were getting ready to head home when the prince received a notification from his phone from.. An unknown number?

That compliment alone already got the 19 year old boy freeze in his seat. He was so flustered that he had stop functioning, "Sung? Are you okay?", he heard his friend called for him.

Trying to be normal, he reply, "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

"Because your face is red", Felix's tone sounds a bit off so the boy glance at him and it turns out that the driver was just messing with him by the way he's smirking.

"Whatever.."

He ignored the continuous teasing that he got from his friend and went back to texting Minho.

The boy didn't think that his gay vibes was that strong to the point where people think that he doesn't approached women because he likes men.

But thinking of the answer to Minho's question, he couldn't let him know about Seungmin. He doesn't want to oust his new friend when he only experienced freedom today so he tried to think of another name.

"Give me a name"

Felix glanced at him for a second, "Why?"

"Just give me any name!"

"Okay! Okay! Jeez, umm.. Eric?"

Jisung smiled at the name and thanked his friend for being such a genius. He didn't hear Felix's narcissistic comment because he is too focus on giving a reply to Minho's question.

"So, are you going to tell me who you're texting or nah?", Felix asked out of nowhere, scaring the poor boy.

Jisung regained his posture and shook his head, "No", he answered with an innocent smile, obviously love to get onto the other's nerves.

The Australian officer thought he was texting Jeongin or Seungmin because they are the only friends that the boy have aside from him and Hyunjin so he thought nothing of it.

The prince on the other hand then thought of something. How did Minho get his number?

Oh wait, he forgot for a moment there that Jeongin work with the older guy. Maybe Minho asked for his phone number from the 18 year old boy.

He got back on his phone to text his best friend.

Thinking that the boy is still working, Jisung stopped spamming him and put away his phone to let the boy work in peace.

Not everyone can live such an easy life like him. No matter in what time, he will always be treated like a royalty. I mean, look at him, he doesn't even have to work to get money because Hyunjin and Felix insisted him not to.

"Wait, this is not the way to our house..?", he asked once he saw Felix driving to an unfamiliar street.

Laughing at the scared on the boy's face, Felix reassured him saying that they just need to pick up a few groceries as requested by a certain tall officer at home.

Both housemates were busy helping each other picking up the groceries, one of them didn't notice the sound of the notification went off.
