"Huh, what is this?" Y/N whispered to herself as she found an old box inside the closet that was starting to collect dust. Her interest had piqued as she wanted to know what was inside, which made her get it out of the space and take a look at it. She couldn't make out what the lid had said, but nonetheless, Y/N opened it and her eyes started to tear up as she saw what was inside. It was a box of photo albums from hers and Ayrton's relationship which he had kept.

There it was, one of the photo albums that was facing her, which she carefully took one out of the box; wanting to look at it. Opening the book, which was an album from their wedding day; she first saw a photo taken before the actual ceremony and it was of her and Ayrton together.

---

"Oh, why am I so nervous?" Y/N let out a deep breath as she noticed her bridal party was worried whether she was getting cold feet over marrying Ayrton or not.

"You aren't getting cold feet, are you, Y/N?" Her maid of honor, B/F/N asked Y/N as she got a bottle of water for her. She was quick to shake her head and shoot down that accusation fast.

"Of course not! I just have some pre-wedding jitters, that's it." Y/N sighed and leaned herself against the wall, taking a moment to process what was going to happen today. She was getting married to the love of her life, Ayrton, that day and she felt nervous about walking down the aisle; fearing that she might embarrass herself in some way.

"I'll be right back," B/F/N softly smiled and gave her best friend a quick hug before she left the room to go talk to Ayrton.

As soon as she left the room, she had bumped into Ayrton's best man (who happened to be his good friend/rival, Alain).

"Oh! There you are," Alain dusted himself off and looked relieved as he saw B/F/N, "I wanted to talk to you about something."

"Is everything alright?" She asked the Frenchman, who shrugged his shoulders. "What happened?"

"Ayrton's a little nervous," he sighed, which made her worried, but he immediately retracted his statement. "He's not getting cold feet and he's definitely not planning to leave Y/N at the altar. He just has some pre-wedding jitters."

"That's what Y/N is also having right now," B/F/N nodded her head and Alain took a deep breath, "wait, I got an idea!"

"Do tell," Alain was interested in what the maid of honor had to say, wanting his friend's nervousness to calm down.

"What about we get the bride and the groom in a room together," she giggled as she thought of the superstition, "but we can have Ayrton wear something to cover his eyes?"

"Ah," his face lit up with a smile as he came up with something, "we can cover Ayrton's eyes with one of the  spare ties I have." He remembered the spare ties he had back in the room.

"This is a great idea," she laughed and nodded her head, "plus, we got enough time for them to see each other since the ceremony isn't for a while."

"We're a good team," Alain shook hands with B/F/N before they went their separate ways to go get Y/N and Ayrton.

---

"Hey, Y/N, someone wanted to talk to you," B/F/N smirked to herself as she went back to the room where Y/N was. "They said it was urgent that you talk to them?"

"Well, if it's so urgent," Y/N chuckled as she set the bottle of water she was drinking from down on the table and stood up from her spot on the couch before walking over to where B/F/N stood. "Then, I'll go and talk to them."

"Great! I'll come along with you!" B/F/N opened the door for both of them to go through and they both walked to the room adjacent from them. "I'll wait for you out here, you go talk to the person waiting for you in there."

Y/N nodded her head in a wary manner as she had her hand on the doorknob, "ok, thank you for letting me know that?" Shrugging her shoulders, she opened the door and she was nudged into the room by B/F/N, but luckily, someone was there to catch here.

"Y/N? Is that you?" She heard the familiar voice ask, which made her giggle. Seeing that he was blindfolded, she understood why he was wearing a tie over his eyes.

"Yes, honey, it's me," Y/N kissed him on the lips and smiled as she saw her fiancé, "how are you doing?"

"I was feeling a little nervous," Ayrton started to speak up as he had his arms secured around her waist, "but, it all went away when I felt your lips against mine."

Chuckles escaped from Y/N's mouth as she wrapped her arms around his neck, "I'm really glad we're together right now. Trust me, I think I gave my friends a bit of stress the way I was so nervous."

"Well, as long as we're not planning to leave each other at the altar or anything similar to that," Ayrton chuckled deeply as he rubbed his fiancée's cheek with the pad of his thumb, "I think we're going to be just fine..."

---

Y/N smiled at the memory she had shared with Ayrton just a while before the ceremony had started and she didn't know who took the picture. But, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a familiar Frenchman's hands around the corners of the photo.

She chuckled to herself as she figured out that it was indeed Alain who took the photo of the adorable moment. Flipping over to the next page, she was met with the photo of her and Ayrton during the ceremony. It was after she had walked down the aisle and it was the moment from when they recited their vows to each other.

Y/N remembered what Ayrton had said for his vows like the back of her hand, sighing as she did remember what he did say.

---

Ayrton took a deep breath as his warm dark brown eyes looked into Y/N's beautiful eyes; taking a moment to get himself ready.

"Y/N, from the moment our paths crossed, you've surprised me; captivated me, and challenged me like no one else has before. I've fallen in love with you over and over again and I still can't believe that I get to marry my best friend today." Ayrton started to recite his vows, which came from the bottom of his heart. His eyes started to tear up with tears of joy as he looked at his gorgeous fiancée. "Y/N, I promise to be true to you; I promise to support you, and to share the beautiful moments of life with you. I will always love you and I know our love will never fade, Y/N L/N."

By the time Ayrton finished his vows, tears of happiness started to stream down her cheeks; she could tell he meant every word he had said. Taking her hand in his, he brought it up to his lips and pressed a kiss to it.

"Thank you, Ayrton," the officiant nodded their head before they turned to Y/N, "Y/N, you may now share your vows."

"Alright, here it goes," she took a deep breath in and out as she looked at Ayrton and pretended it was just her and him. "Ayrton, you make me laugh and you make me happy. You are my guide to love, my every wish, and the person I want to be with for eternity. I knew I loved you from the moment we met and I still do fall in love with you every second. I promise to you, my unconditional love and my undying devotion. I also promise to not ask you to be more than you are and I'll always love you for being who you are."

Ayrton smiled from ear-to-ear as he listened to her vows and he could tell she also meant every word she had said. A smile took over her face as she looked at her soon-to-be husband as she continued her vows.

"Ayrton, I stand by you, a rock to lean on; a shoulder to cry on, and a pillow to rest your head. Not just for this moment, not for a minute, hour, day, or year; I will always love you, Ayrton Senna." She finished her vows and Ayrton held both her hands in his, giving them a gentle squeeze.

"Thank you, Y/N," the officiant smiled and now signaled it was time for the exchange of the rings. They turned back to Ayrton, who was looking at Y/N.

"Do you, Ayrton Senna, take Y/N to be your lawfully wedded wife?" They asked the Brazilian, who had a giant grin on his face and he nodded his head.

"I do," he answered back to the question with a chuckle, which made the officiant nodded their head and turned to Y/N.

"And do you, Y/N L/N, take Ayrton to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Y/N giggled and nodded her head.

"I do," she answered as her reply to the question and before they knew it, the moment was finally here.

"And by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife," the officiant nodded their head as they looked at the happy and newly wedded couple. "Mr. Senna, you may now kiss your bride."

Ayrton chuckled as he wrapped his hands around his wife's waist and brought her closer to him. They both giggled before she brought him for a kiss, not wanting to waste any time. The kiss was filled with love and passion and it was a kiss like none other they had given to each other.

"I love you so much, Mrs. Senna," Ayrton whispered in her ear as they pulled away from the kiss.

"I love you too, Mr. Senna," Y/N smiled back at her husband for the umpteenth time that day.

---

She smiled at the fond memory as she looked at the photo of her and Ayrton during their first kiss as husband and wife. Flipping to the next page, she saw another photo of him and her at their reception, in fact; it was when they were about to cut their cake and have the first slice as husband and wife.

Taking a deep breath in and out, she smiled at the memory of having the sweet frosting all over her face, courtesy of Ayrton's silly behavior, but she also remembered Ayrton having some also on his face; courtesy of Y/N.

---

"I swear, if you get any frosting on my face," Y/N pretended to threaten her husband, but still had a smile on her face as she and Ayrton had slices of cake in their hands, "you won't get any tonight."

"Alright, I won't risk anything," he smiled and nodded his head as he heard everyone clamor for them to feed each other the slices of cake.

They both smiled at each other as they went in to feed each other the slices, but being the silly person he was, Ayrton thought he could make the reception more fun by smashing the slice into her face. When she didn't expect it, Ayrton smashed the cake onto her cheek and smiled cheekily at her when she shrieked at the cold frosting touching her cheek.

"Ayrton!" She laughed as she smashed her slice of cake onto his face, smearing it across his cheeks. "You look so adorable!"

He sent her a playful glare and brought her for another kiss, smearing some frosting onto both of their faces.

"I love you so much," Ayrton whispered in her ear as he wiped the frosting off of her face, which made her laugh.

"I love you too," Y/N smiled back at her husband as she brought him for another kiss, which made everyone around them awe at the couple.

---

Y/N smiled as she finished going through the photo album and took a shaky breath before she stood up from the ground and looked back up at the sunny sky of São Paulo through the window of her house.

"Miss you, honey," she smiled and wiped away the tears that were starting to fall down her cheeks. "I'll always love you, just like I promised..."
