It had been a while since Jouno and Tecchou's little session of "hug-it-out" in the carnival, and somehow, once again, Teruko had found out. And, of course, that meant Tachihara had found out too. Well, why wouldn't he? Those two were practically the "gossipers" of the group, no matter how much Tachihara was forced to give Teruko piggyback rides when she felt like acting like a child. In fact, those were the exact foundation of their gossip era, which never seemed to end for some reason. 

ANYWAYS, after the little "thing" at the amusement park, they shut up. Both of them. That's how Teruko found out, and told Tachihara once they got to the hotel after carrying a drunk ass Fukuchi back. 

"..."

"..."

"What did they do."

"They probably had a hug-it-out thing in an alleyway or something."

Then, they started laughing their asses off, and Jouno heard them, having his good ass hearing, from his room. Tetchou had already fallen asleep, and thank god he did, because if he heard them, he'd definitely cuddle Jouno again. Now, while Jouno wasn't denying he DIDN'T want one, that would just give Teruko one more thing to make fun of them about. 

So, he laid on his side of them bed, feeling...cold. Jouno had never felt this cold when he slept, before he joined the Hunting Dogs and met Tetchou, that is. He was confused, and pulled the blankets up even higher, but that didn't do a thing. 

"...Ugh, screw it..."

Jouno had done something he swore he would never ever do again: he hugged Tetchou. He wrapped his arms around his waist and squeezed it, suddenly never wanting to let go. And that's exactly what he did. For the rest of night, Jouno and (a clueless) Tetchou slept like this.

"Well, this is a shocker, isn't it, Tachihara?"

Once again, Teruko and Tachihara and snuck into the "totally-not-dating" couples' room, where they found the exact opposite of what the expected. Instead of Tetchou being intertwined with Jouno like they had the previous night, Jouno's arms were now the ones wrapped around Tetchou tightly, as if letting him go would kill the two of them.

"You know what, Teruko, I'm not surprised at this point," Tachihara replied, staring at the scene in front of them intensely.

"...Yeah, me either."

"Do we take a photo of this one?"

"Nah, Tetchou will probably wake up before Jouno; he'll find out soon."

Saying that, Teruko dragged Tachihara away, shutting and locking Jouno and Tetchou's room before heading off to breakfast with Tachihara, where Fukuchi was already waiting, laughing the entire way. 

Shotrly after they left, as Teruko predicted, Tetchou had indeed woken up before Jouno, and was surprised at the fact that Jouno was cuddling him. He stayed stunned for a full 30 seconds before smiling softly, and pulling Jouno closer to him, feeling happy for the first time in a while. 

After a bit, Tetchou noticed a note on his bedside table, and reached over to read it. It was from Teruko, saying:

HEY LOVEBIRDS,

Just wanted to let you two know; we convinced the Commander to let me, him and Tachihara to go out somewhere for the day, so you two can have the day to yourselves, 'kay?

Have fun, and don't disappoint me!

Tetchou read over the note multiple times, slightly confused, but eventually shrugged it off. He had to admit; he was a bit happy to know that he had the entire day to spend only with Jouno. Tetchou  put the note back on the table before, once again, pulling Jouno close and cuddling him back. He shut his eyes and, though he didn't fall asleep, waited for Jouno to arouse from his deep slumber.
