The Showdown

It was exactly as I'd dreamt it. The kiss. I'd dreamt it a lot, and this was just like a dream. His cool hard tongue played hide and seek with mine and he slowly put his hands on my cheeks and pulled me closer. Suddenly he opened his eyes and let go. "I am so sorry lass!" He started. "Don't be." I whispered, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I been feelin' this way about you for a while. Ye were so generous and independent. Of all the people I ever seen, ye had the best personality." A solitary tear trickled down my cheek. "You know this'll never work, right?" I said quietly. "Ye kiddin lass? With yer can do attitude, nothin' can stand between us." I smiled up at him and followed him to the bar where it was quieter. We both sat down and looked at each other. "Foxy, can I ask you something?" I asked. "O'course lass"

"Why did you bite her?"

Foxy eyes widened at this question and he turned his chair around to me and put my hands in his. "If I 'ad a choice, I wouldn't 'ave bit the littlen." I gasped. "Someone else was behind this!?" Just then Foxy noticed something behind me and looked up to it. I followed his eyes to a television mounted on the wall playing a breaking news story. "Quick, turn that up!" I shouted to the barkeep who begrudgingly did so. The woman on the TV came on. "News just in, infamous chief detective: Inspector Lucy Grace Sims has had a mental breakdown and is now escaping in a police car. Witnesses at the station said: she came out of her office and sprinted straight to the armoury, grabbed guns and tried to exit the building. One man tried to stop her but was shot in the leg and is being treated for minor wounds. Allegedly the inspector had seemed unstable for some time and had a strange obsession with a certain Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria. She is suspected to be headed there now. We'll keep you updated, back to you Frank." I dropped my glass and spun around to Foxy. "Freddy, Chica and Bonnie are in danger!" "We 'ave to get to 'em lass!" We both got up and ran to the doors. Once in the street Foxy turned around to me. "It'll be too dangerous fer ye in there." "I'm not leaving you Foxy." He sighed. "Fine, hope on me back. It'll be quicker." I did as I was told without question and jumped on his furry back, wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. He knelt down like a runner at the beginning of a race and set off. I almost fell off at first, I didn't expect him to run that fast. Everything around me became a blur of neon lights, we passed cars and suddenly stopped. Foxy plonked me off and I staggered to the side to sit down. "Whoooo! That was...different.". I panted. "Look, the police 'ave beat us 'ere." Foxy said, pointing to the flashing blue and red lights outside the restaurant. "Don't worry, I have a plan. When I say, jump, okay?" "What?" "You'll know when, don't worry." I said, getting up and walking over to the cars.

"Excuse me ma'am! No civilians allowed beyond this point." One police officer said, noticing me striding up. "Oh don't worry, we're just passing through." I remarked pushing past him. "Ma'am I suggest you stay where you are." The officer said. I could hear the click of his gun loading behind me. I put my hands up in the air before wrapping them around Foxy and jumping in his arms. "Jump!" I screamed. He did. He jumped, about a foot in the air. "Wait, you don't have superhuman jumping too!?" I yelled. Foxy's eyes widened and he sprinted out of range of the police just in time and around the back of the building. He hopped on the bin and smashed a window with his spare hand before pulling us both in. Then he turned on me. "Ye' thought I could jump high?! That were ye' brilliant plan!?" He hissed in a hushed tone. "Well you could run fast, so why not jump?" "I'm a robot. I can run because my legs have no limit of how fast they move. We can't jump because we don't have leg tendons to tense and release. Yere a science teacher lass, ye' should've known that." "I was being held at gunpoint, did you just expect me to just list your anatomy." I retorted. Three loud gunshots broke our conversation along with a loud, distressed quack. "Chica!" We both said in unison. We sprinted down the hall and into the backstage room to find a large lump under the curtain shivering. I walked up and pulled it off to find a large yellow chicken punch me in the face. I staggered back and fell to the floor. She put her hands to her mouth and stood up, astonished. "Oh my god Denny!" She squealed in her soft sympathetic tone. "I'm so sorry, I thought you were...her" she looked up to the other figure while helping me up and gasped as she realised who it was. "Foxy!" She Yelped before letting go of me and running up to hug him. I got up and smiled at the scene before wincing at the small trickle of blood running from my nose. But something told me that wasn't going to be the worst injury I'd receive tonight. "Where are the others?" I asked. Chica turned back to me and frowned. "Freddy ran off as soon as soon as he heard a noise, said he had to do something or other. But when we saw her and she saw us Bonnie distracted her and climbed up into the vents, he's a natural. I swear he's done it before. God I hope they're alright." "Okay, Chica. Stay here, well go find everyone else, I won't let her hurt any of you." We both left the stage and closed the curtains behind us. "What do you see?" I whispered. "Darkness" he whispered back. "I don't 'ave night vision either" I laughed softly. "I should probably stop assuming you have all these superpowers." Suddenly there was a loud clash from the kitchen. "Come on" I whispered.

We snook into the kitchen and cautiously looked around. Just then the door slammed shut behind us and the inspector Sims stepped out of the shadows. "Well well well. Look what the animatronic foxy dragged in." She scoffed, laughing at her own bad pun. "Denise Kirkman, you have a knack for meddling in my affairs, don't you?" "Lucy" I said, trying not to show fear in my voice. "You don't have to do this." "Oh but I do. I have to purge this earth of those infernal animatronics and there GOD DAMN SINGING!!!" She screeched, slamming her hands against a counter and knocking pans on the floor. Her hand moved slowly to her pocket and she pulled out a small handgun. "Well, it all ends tonight." She laughed, her shaking hand pointing the gun directly at my head. "DUCK!" Screamed Foxy. I did so and looked up to see a saucepan fly at the inspectors head. She fired the gun directly into Foxy's chest and they both fell to the ground in heaps. I knelt down next to him. "Oh my god, you saved me. Are you alright?" "Lass, I'm a robot. It felt like a flick to me." "Oh Foxy." I sighed in relief and leant forward into a kiss. Just then I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head and fell away from him to a far wall. Lucy lunged at Foxy and pinned his hand to the wall with a large knife. He tried to pull it out but he was wearing his hook and couldn't grasp it. I tried to move to him but couldn't, I'd just been hit in the head with a pan I saw about three Lucy's approach me and they all blurred into one as she got up to me. She picked her gun up and pressed its cold barrel against my forehead. "Let's try again shall we?" She whispered. This was it. Death. Everything slowed down to a crawl, Lucy's laughing, Foxy's frantic struggling, it all stopped. I sat there in silence and closed my eyes, waiting for my fate.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!!!

The inspector screamed and threw the unloaded gun to the other end of the room. I was still alive. She slowly stood up and moved to the kitchen counter, her hand slowly wrapped around the knife rack and she pulled one out with a satisfying swoom, before walking back to me slowly. Suddenly the kitchen door swung open and the room was met with an extremely angry chicken. "Let's eat bitch!" Chica screamed before grabbing the bottle of ketchup and squeezing the bottle all over Lucy. She dropped the knife and staggered, trying to get condiments out of her eyes. She then turned round to Chica red faced with anger as well as tomato sauce. "Chica, run!" I yelled. "Oh right" she said before sprinting off. Lucy picked up another knife and followed her leaving just me and Foxy. I got up but before I could even come near him he stopped me. "Don't worry 'bout me, go. Help Chica." I nodded and ran after them both. I eventually came to a small room, it had two exits an office chair and desk, the walls were dotted with drawings by children as well as a large poster of the main three.

It was then that I heard footsteps. I grabbed a fan off of the desk and crouched below one of the windows into the office, I could hear the footsteps getting closer and closer. I lifted the fan up and swung it into the doorway hitting Chica directly in the face. "Oops sorry Chica." I said. "Eh, we're even now." She chuckled. Then more footsteps came from the right. "It's alright Bonnie, it's just Denny." Chica called down the hall. The footsteps slowed down and the purple rabbit came into the office too. "Denny!" He said going in for a hug. I hugged him back before releasing and looking around. "Where's Freddy?" I asked. "No idea but if I know Freddy, he'll be here for his dramatic entrance to finish that cow." He replied. Just then Chica's eyes widened. They both stepped back and tried to pull me back but out of nowhere a knife flew out of the darkness and hit a big red button on the wall, sealing me in with my assailant. I picked up the fan and threw it into the darkness, unfortunately it was still plugged in and only made it halfway across the room. The inspector emerged from the shadows. Her dress blood red, crazed eyes glinting in the soft light and hair wild and untamed. She looked like a mental escapee.

She pulled out the knife and pressed it against my neck, the cold metal causing me to swallow and breathe in rapidly. She leant in and whispered in my ear. "You know why I hate animatronics, hmmm Miss Kirkman?" "No..." I squeaked. "Well let me tell you a story. Once upon a time there was a little girl, celebrating her 5th birthday. Her parents had paid for everything and wanted her to have a perfect birthday, she ate her pizza with her friends but when it was time for the show the animatronics were 'broken'. So the little girl went to see what the matter was and when she went backstage she found all four animatronics sat talking and acting perfectly fine. When she asked them what was wrong, do you know what they said to her?

"No." I whimpered

"Louder!" She screamed

"No!" I shouted

"They said to her, we don't feel like singing. Well let me tell you something. If they don't feel like singing for me then I don't feel like sparing their lives for them. Clear?" "Clear." "Now I'm afraid you've got in my way for the last time Denise. Goodbye." She lifted the knife above her head and held it there.

Suddenly out of the dark, two brown paws appeared and grabbed Lucy's foot causing her to drop the knife which narrowly missed my lady parts and landed between my legs. Freddy emerged and pinned thee squirming Lucy to the ground. "So you want us to sing hmm? Oh we'll sing alright. Are you ready for Freddy?" He dragged her kicking body into the shadows and all that could be heard was her screams getting slowly quieter as she was dragged to god knows where.

I got up and brushed myself off before widening my eyes in realisation, Foxy was still in the kitchen! I hurried down the corridor and threw open the kitchen door. I helped him up and together we hobbled out of the entrance, along with the other three to be met by the sunrise, we must have been in there longer than I'd thought. We all linked hands and raised our arms in the air to show we meant no harm. All the police stepped down but one man walked forward to shake my hand. "It's the boss!" Chica whispered to me, I let go of her hand and shook his. "You're the manager. It's so nice to finally meet you." I said. "Oh the pleasure's all mine." He replied, removing his glove and handing it to his assistant before wiping his hand with sanitiser. "I assume you've met my stars of the show." He said, straightening Freddy's bow tie, I nodded. "I'm almost sad to see them go." He sighed. "Wwwhat." I spluttered. "You sound surprised, you are one of the removal people I hired aren't you?" I looked around at all the calm officers and realised if I said no then he would have me arrested for breaking and entering. I nodded, trying to hold back the tears. "OK then, let me just deactivate them." He said pulling out a small remote. "Bye bye old robots." Foxy stepped towards me but they all lowered their heads in synchronisation and stood there, motionless. I couldn't hold it in anymore, the tears flooded out my eyes and I dropped to the floor with my head in my hands. The manager didn't notice me. He was too busy gesticulating to a van that was reversing into the car park. Men came out with large boxes on Dolly's and packed the animals up before hauling them into the back of the truck. "I'll be happy to see this old building go, to be honest I always thought it had a strange design. I mean why was the security office so far away from everywhere else. The new restaurant should look tremendous and I just love the new character designs Sandra, shame we'll have to tear the old robots up. Oh well, out with the old and in with the new I guess." His assistant nodded and followed him as he started to walk off.

"What..." I whispered through my tears. Was my whole life just some massive joke to everyone? I get a boyfriend then a couple of hours later he's going to be torn apart, I would not have this. I was filled with rage, everything we'd been through now meant nothing because this man wanted a dew extra dollars! I slowly rose to my feet and ran at the manager, before taking a leap and throwing myself into him.
