"A-Angel?" You stuttered, looking down at your childhood friend from the outside of her jail cell. She was facing away from you but once she heard her name, Angel turned around,

"____!" She cried, scrambling up to the bars, trying to stick her head through to look up at you. You could see the sadness in her eyes and you forced yourself to look away. You already knnew what she was going to ask, "___, please, let me and my friends out!" Angel pleaded, making you sigh a bit,

"You know I can't Angel, I'm part of the magic-" You started to explain before you were rudely cut off,

"Magic council my ass, your my friend aren't you? Please, just this one thing I'll never ask again!" Angel continued to plead to you, over and over until you finally couldn't take anymore from the girl.

Sticking you key in the lock you opened Angel's cage who happily hopped out and gave you a really tight hug, "My guildmates as well." Angel stated, pointing to her guildmates. They looked kind of scary in your opinion. Shaking your head you refused to before Angel grabbed your keys and unlocked their cells herself,

"Angel! Y-You can't just take my keys!" You yelped, trying to grab the keys back. Angel threw the keys in a random direction, thank god no one was in the area but you and the now, free, Oracion Seis. Angel looked over at a man with red messy hair and kind of tilted her head towards you. Before you knew it, you were picked up by him as the other guildmates got up and made their way to the wall.

"Let me go!" You screamed but were only stopped by his hand covering your mouth,

"Bring ____ along, she'll try to get us captured before we can get very far." Angel said flatly before a gigantic hole was blown through the wall leading to the outside world. You couldn't believe you'd be kidnapped, especially like this!

Growling slightly you tried to use your magic on the man holding you but only to be hit in the head, hard. It was enough to put you in a blurry daze as slightly saw all of you escape from the magic council.

You sighed thinking about that day, even though it was about a year ago. You were apart of the team now, most of the guildmates were found of you, even Midnight as far as you could tell.

Speaking of the lazy bastard, he was asleep on his carpet a could feet away from you. No one else was in the room except for you two. A devious smirk found its way to your lips and you leaned towards him. Putting your hands lightly on him you suddenly pushed him over with all of your might, hearing a satisfying thud from when he landed.

You heard him grunt as he sat up, glarring daggers at you, only to respond with a goofy face to mock him. Your (h/c) hair was pulled harshly, forcing you down infront of Midnight, now you had to look up at him,

"You damn annoying, you know that?" He growled, placing a hand around you neck but he didn't squeeze it...yet,

"Yet you still haven't killed me." You challenged, over the past year you have grown much more cockier around the guildmates, maybe becuase you haven't got caught as of yet. Not to mention how much stronger you've gotten.

He started to squeeze your neck, getting harder by the second as he leaned in, "You know I can do it right here, right now." He grimaced as you grabbed his wrist. Leaning up you gave him a small but quick kiss on the lips. It was easy to tell it surprsied him because his grip on you loosened, giving you a chance to escape.

Getting up you tried to dash away from his fury you know was going to awaken but only for you hair to begrabbed once again by midnight, pulling you back even more roughly than the first time,

"Ow! Your going to pull my hair out if you keep doing that!" You whined as you landed, but you didn't land on the floor like you thought. You landed in Midnights lap as he forced you to turn you head. Your eyes widened as he gave you a rough kiss, now it was your turn to be in a daze.

The kiss was long and when he finally let you go, you justed stared at him, wide-eyed, unable to comprehend whatever had just happened. That daze with you both staring at eachother was short lived becuase Angel came down the stairs, and saw both of you,

"Ooooh~ Midnight and ____ now hmmm~?" She sang, with a smirk on her face. Quickly, you got out of his lap and sat in a chair and tried to respond as cooly as possible,

"N-No I just fell down, y-you know I'm a clusts." You stuttered a bit, nice going.. You bitterly thought as Angel just responded with a laugh and walked into another room,

"Suuure, thats what happened!" She laughed once again before it went silent again. You sighed heavily and sneaked a glance over at Midnight, he was looking back a bit, through the corner of his eye. It just ran across your mind how red your face has been since the kiss. All you could really do was let out a chuckle and a smile towards him. He responded with a low chuckle before he got back up on his carpet and went back to his sleeping position.
