I turn to face Celestia. It's dark, so I can't see her face clearly

'I think now is my chance to confess to her'

CELESTIA'S POV
'Lyon's right in front of me. What should I do? What should I say?'

"Listen" we say at the exact same time

We laugh at ourselves

LYON'S POV
"Hey Celestia" I call

"Hmm?" she turns to me

"Do you happen to umm...like like someone?" I suddenly ask

'W-Why did I ask that?!' I begin to panic

CELESTIA'S POV
"W-W-What?!" I'm definitely surprised by his question

I calm my nerves as I regain my composure, I answer him truthfully

"Yes... I think I do"

LYON'S POV
"Yes... I think I do"

I'm speechless. I'm upset that she has eyes for another

"I-I thought your not interested to fall in love?" I ask her

"I'm not interested, yeah. But I can't help the way I feel. I don't understand either. I don't want to fall in love, I've never fallen in love before, and I never wanted to. I've always had my ideal man, but I've never truly fallen, so this is a new experience for me" she says with a visible blush on her face

My heart feels tight

CELESTIA'S POV
"How about you? How are things going with Juvia?" I ask trying to avoid the pain of asking that

"My feelings for her are long gone" he answers as he turnd around, now facing the door

"What do you mean?" I ask

"it's true that I was very much in love with her, but it's different now. I met a girl who I really enjoy spending time with"

For the first time, I feel like my heart break into a million pieces

LYON'S POV
'Why can't I tell her that I love her?!'

"So what made you like the guy?" I ask

"He gets me. He was the first to ever see through me" she answers

"Are you going to tell him you like him?"

"No. I'm afraid he's in love with someone else"

"How about you? Aren't you going to tell the girl you like that you like her?" she asks

"I'm afraid that she likes somebody else too. I want to tell her how I feel but I'm afraid of what she'll say"

CELESTIA'S POV
"Try telling her anyways. Even if she's in love with someone else. She deserves to know how you feel" I say

'So I could move on'

"...How should I start?" he asks

"Start by saying 'I love you'" I suggest

"What about you?" he suddenly asks

"Me?"

"Yeah. Aren't you going to confess as well?"

"I'll try"

'No, I shouldn't. It's taboo'

"*Sigh* I'm ready to confess" he says

"Really? That's good"

We stay quiet for about anbentire minute. We both don't know what to say

LYON'S POV
I think it's time for me to tell her how I feel. I won't care whether she likes somebody else or not. She deserves to know how I feel

I take a deep breath

"You're right. She deserves to know what I truly feel for her"

"10!" everyone outside starts counting down

"It's time to confess" I say

"9!"

"That's the spirit"

"8!"

"You should tell the guy you like that you like him too"

"I'll be supporting you, Lyon"

"Celestia"

"Hm? What is it?

"Hmm?"

The door opens and I quickly start making my way towards the door telling the people I pass by that I need to go back to my team

But really, I just don't wanna hear Celestia's reply

'She likes somebody else after all. Plus, she's a spirit and I'm a human. We could never be together'

CELESTIA'S POV
I'm shocked that he said he loves me. Lyon quickly walks away as soon as the door opens

After a minute or two in my thoughts, I return to reality

'What am I doing? Who cares about races, I need to tell Lyon my answer'

I ran outside looking for Lyon

"Celestia!" the others call me, but I ignore them

'If I let this chance pass by, I'll regret it for the rest of my existence'

I finally find him, speed walking

"LYON!" I call

He turns around and seems surprised to see me

"Celestia?"

I speedily walk towards him and stop right in front of him

We stare at each a other for a few seconds before saying---

"How dare you leave before I could tell you I love you" I confess

My face gets closer to his and his gets closer to mine as we share a sweet kiss

As our lips parts. We stared into each other's eyes

"Remember our conversation at the tunnel of love? When we were telling stories about each other?" I say

"Yeah. Of course i remember" he replied

"I also told you about Gray and Constella right?"

"Yeah" he nods

"It's forbidden for a human and a spirit to fall in love with each other" I say as I look up at him

"I know" he says

"I'm not just a spirit either, I'm a princess, a role model for the other spirits"

"I know" he says as he looks away in guilt

'We already kissed, there's no point in denying it now"

"But I still love you" I tell him

We smiled at each other and bring our lips together once more

To think I would share a cliche fate as those in the romance novels Constella loves so much

'I only just met him, but this feeling he brought out of me just feels too good'
