Running down the stairs from the throne room in her fox form, Feng Jiu had never felt so embarrassed in her whole life.

She had been living in Qing Qiu all her life, now she was in the Heavenly Palace to visit her Aunt as the Queen of Qing Qiu to experience some time there, also to learn from her Aunt.

As Feng Jiu went to her Aunt's Palace to wait for her there, back at the Palace, Dijun conversed with the Empress and Emperor about some issues in the Mortal Realm.

"I do apologise for Feng Jiu's behaviour as she left, she doesn't know much about the Heavenly Palace" Empress Bai Qian said as Dijun bowed his head.

"There is no need, she is new to the rules here, I am sure a maid will be able to help her adjust during her stay" Dijun said.

After their conversation, Dijun excused himself and left the throne room. Walking back to his Palace, he passed by Bai Qian's Palace and saw a red fox sleeping on the swing.

Tilting his head to the side a bit, he walked up to the sleeping fox and took his purple gown off, gently lying it on the sleeping fox who didn't wake up.

After watching the fox sleep for a while, he then left and returned to his Taichen Palace and sat at the table, resting his elbow onto his knee as Si Ming entered his Palace.

"Lord Dijun" he said and bowed to him as he sat opposite him, he then poured two cups of tea and held one to Dijun who took it kindly and took a sip.

"I heard you met Bai Feng Jiu of Qing Qiu" Si Ming said and Dijun looked to him.

"I saw you with her to, you watched her sleep on the swing" Si Ming said and Dijun tsked at Si Ming silently.

As they talked about the matters of the Mortal Realm and the other Realms, Si Ming told Dijun about the Demon Realm's Queen who wanted to overthrow the Heavenly Realm and the other Realms who supported the Empress and Emperor.

"Do not let Feng Jiu know of this matter, I will take care of it" Dijun said, Si Ming nodded as he watched Dijun get up and walk out of his Palace.

Meanwhile, as Feng Jiu conversed with her Aunt, gaining some knowledge and learn of life in the Heavenly Realm, Feng Jiu was happy to be around her Aunt.

As Feng Jiu bid farewell to her Aunt to head to her Palace, she walked along the bridge, the lotus pond beneath her. Because she wasn't concentrating, she ended up finding herself in front of Taichen Palace.

Feng Jiu felt her face get hot as she turned around, before someone walked past her and she looked up to see Si Ming who smiled at her.

"What brings you here little Princess?" he asked.

"I have no idea, I guess I was to concentrated on the lotus pond, which looks beautiful. I think I might have my people make one for me, so they can enjoy the loveliness" Feng Jiu said with a smile.

As they sat in the Pavilion near Taichen Palace, Feng Jiu and Si Ming talked about her stay in the Heavenly Palace. But there was a question that was nagging Feng Jiu's mind.

"I do want to ask, have you seen Lord Dijun?" Feng Jiu asked looked at Si Ming as she sipped some tea from her cup.

"I just saw him before he went out for some business" Si Ming said and Feng Jiu blushed slightly.

"Did he ask you about me?" Feng Jiu asked wondering what Dijun thought about her. She had been hoping to avoid him since she embarrassed herself in front of him.

"No he didn't" Si Ming said as Feng Jiu nodded, she turned in her seat and used her magic to reveal Dijun's purple gown on the table.

"I was sleeping in front of my Aunt's Palace and when I woke up, this was on me" Feng Jiu said and Si Ming nodded.

"I did see him watch you sleep, it's quite amusing" Si Ming said and Feng Jiu looked at him confused.

"Lord Dijun has been the cold type, he never comes to events and he barely has any maids in his Palace, if you wish, I could send you to his Palace as a working maid to get the bearings?" Si Ming asked.

"I may have to think about that offer, I might go back to my Palace to get some sleep, I haven't been sleeping well and I have some things on my mind, plus tomorrow I might go back home for a while to see my people" Feng Jiu said.

After her conversation with Si Ming, Feng Jiu went to Taichen Palace to find any clues as to where Dijun had gone. Sitting at the table, Feng Jiu found a piece of paper with some writing on it, there she found where Dijun was as she left the table and ran to the East Side Gate.

Feng Jiu vanished through the Gate and ended up on the other side, where she found herself in the Mortal Realm.

Looking around, Feng Jiu heard something in the distance and she followed the sound using her fox senses to come to a clearing, where bamboo trees surrounded the area.

There she saw Dijun standing across from a woman, by the look of her clothes, Feng Jiu knew she was the Queen of the Demon Clan, she was the one that wanted to overthrow the Heavenly Realm.

As the woman used her magic sword to attack Dijun, Feng Jiu impulsively moved forward and used her magic sword which glowed pink and blocked the woman's attack.

"Feng Jiu" Dijun said from behind her and she turned her head with a small smile.

"You can't get rid of me that easily" Feng Jiu said as she used her strength to push the Demon Queen back as she hissed angrily.

"I'm guessing the little girl that has come to play is your secret weapon" the Queen laughed as Dijun pushed Feng Jiu behind him.

"She has no business here, it our fight, not hers" Dijun said as Feng Jiu pushed herself away from him. 

"I don't need protection" she said holding onto her sword tightly. As they argued, the Queen thought of the perfect time to bring an end to the famous Dong Hua Dijun.

She used her magic to summon multiple swords and swung them at them. Feng Jiu noticed as she turned her head before moving herself in front of Dijun as a sword hit her in the shoulder and she spat blood from her mouth.

Dijun used his magic to contain the Queen in the maio chasm. Walking to the gates holding Feng Jiu, he walked through the Gate back to the Heavenly Realm.

After finally getting back to his Taichen Palace, Dijun laid Feng Jiu onto his bed, ordering a maid to fetch a bowl of warm water, a cloth and some bandages. Moving her hair out of the way, Dijun moved her sleeve of her right shoulder so he could contain her wound.

"My Lord" the maid said and handed him the bowl, the cloth and the bandages. Moving his sleeves out of the way, he soaked the cloth in the water and cleaned her wounds before resting it on her forehead. He got the maid to bandage her shoulder up as he was turned away.

After the maid left after bandaging Feng Jiu's shoulder, he used his magic to help her healing for a while.

As he watched her sleep, he sat beside her on the bed, before he then fell asleep.

As Feng Jiu woke up, she found Dijun sleeping beside her. Taking the blanket off, she laid it on him, she walked to the door to his Palace as she left, going back to her Palace to rest.
