Quiet Day

(Y/n)'s P.o.V

Another day at Hogwarts. Another day of annoyance from you're friendly squawking bird friend, Kazzandra. Well, at least that's what I though, she's usually the first one to greet me.

Later on, I asked Silvia and Finnian where she was. Turns out she was sick. Poor lass, hope she gets better soon. "So, where is she at?" I asked. "Hospital wing. Turns out she had a fever for about 3 days now." Finnian said, concern lacing his voice.

"That bitch..." Silvia jokingly whispered. "But no, seriously, she should've said something earlier. It's really stupid of her."

All three of us agreed, "oh yeah, by the way. (Y/n), she wanted me to give you this." Finnian said as he took something out of his pocket.

"A mirror?" I said, taking it from his hand. "It's actually a two way mirror." Finnian said, pointing at the object. "Two way mirror?" I asked, but Silvia snatched it from my hand and said "Basically, what it does is what muggles call "video chat"." Silvia held the small mirror with one hand as she quote.

"Oh, alright." I snatched back the mirror and it started to talk. "Hellooo??" It spoke, it's voice, so croaky. "I looked at the mirror, it wasn't my reflection showing, but rather, it showed a witch. "Hey. (Y/n)! My sweet princess."

"Hello Kazzandra. Can you go back to sleep?" I said, clearly annoyed at the girl on the other side. "Hehe... sorry. Tendencies... you know how I could get sometimes..." Kazzandra laughed, and then coughed after wards. "You okay there?" Silvia asked, peering through the corner. "Hey Silvia~" cooed Kazzandra. "Can you stop flirting for once in your life." Finnian hissed, doing the same as Silvia.

Kazzandra pretend to think, humming as she does. "Hmmm... no." She mused, winking at Finnian, who's glare just intensified. "Fineee." Kazzandra whined. "For now..." she added quietly, enough for her to only hear, and of course, failing miserably.

"I heard that! What do you want anyway?" Finnian said, pulling my hand to his face. "Ah right! About that... I was gonna ask if you could... I can't believe I'm asking this..." Kazzandra hesitated, looking away from us. "Ugh... I'm gonna sound like a nerd... but I need notes for our classes..." she finally blurts out.

"You're literally a Ravenclaw! It's your part to be a nerd." Silvia groaned, narrowing her eyes at her. "Hey... that's house-ist." Whined Kazzandra.

""House-ist"? The hell is that?" I asked looking at Kazzandra with a confused look. "You know it's like you're racist but towards Hogwarts houses." She explained. Smirking as she goes.

"Those who agree on ignoring Kazzandra for the rest of the day, say "I"." Finnian declared, raising his hand. And me and Silvia followed.

"Hey! Meanies... just get me notes. I need to go. Madame Pomfrey's coming. Well, see you guys soon." We said our goodbyes and as soon as Kazzandra was gone, we laughed.

"She never changes huh?" Silivia said to herself. Smiling. "Yeah..."

Draco's P.o.V

'Boring...' I rolled my eyes away from the others. It really is a slow day today. And not to mention Pansy is just sitting around talking our ears of. We're currently sitting on the Slytherin table, eating breakfast.

But todayDr 54 was moving so slow. I don't know if it's just time, or maybe I'm not getting my daily dose of attention. But whatever it is, I don't like it.

I was about done eating, when Zambini alerted to look up. When I did, I saw three of the usual four people. "Is it just me or are they missing someone?" Zambini pondered.

"The one from Ravenclaw." Pansy growled. Glaring at the group as they headed to The Hufflepuff table. "So you're taking notes on them?" I asked, giving her a glance. "Well, of course! I mean after all, how would I be able to ki- I mean, befriend them if I don't know them."

Pansy gave out a nervous laugh. And suddenly glared at the trio. 'She's acting strange lately.'

Well, breakfast will be over soon. "Let's just hurry. First period's coming up." I said, as I began to stand up. "Ah! What for me Dracey!" Pansy stumble out of her seat as she clinged herself to me. Now there's the attention I needed.

(Y/n) P.o.V

Silvia and Finnian were chatting while I was eating quietly beside Finnian. "Okay, (Y/n). What do you think?" Finnian asked. I was about to answer, but when I looked up I was distracted by a pair of (g̶a̶y̶) gray eyes. Once It finally noticed mine, it wink.

I felt the blood rushing to my face. 'For Merlin's sake, Malfoy...'

"(Y/n)? Are you there?"

"Hogwarts to (Y/n), (Y/n) To Hogwarts." Finnian nudged me, finally bringing me back to earth. "Hmm? Wha-what? I- uh..." I stuttered, my blush spreading even more. I then cleared my throat. "What's was the question again?"

Both of them looked at me with concern on their faces. "Well, We were asking on you're opinion on Professor Snape." I looked at the two with one arched brow. "Why would you want to know?"

The two looked at each other and leaned closer to me. "Well someone, kinda likes him." I nooded, knowing who they are already talking about. "Kazzandra?"

"Yup." Silvia dead-panned. "Well, he's alright... needs a lot of shampoo, but you know alright." I said, unsure if that was the right thing to say. "Well at least we know you're not insane." Finnian commented, letting out a small chuckle. Making both me and Silvia laugh. And then we heard a faint 'fuck you'. Probably Kazzandra.

"Well, should we get going? Class is about to start." I suggested, putting down my eating utensils. "Yeah sure. Silvia said, standing up of her seat a d wiping her mouth with a napkin. "Right back at ya." Finnian hopped off of his seat, started to walk away.

(Y/n) let out an exhausted sigh as he exited his classroom. Silvia and Finnian followed behind the tired boy, talking to each other. "I need to recharge..." (Y/n) mumbled, his body slouched as he does. "What?" Silvia and Finnian said unison. Causing them to chuckle. "You two seem to go together well right now." (Y/n), said trying to straighten his posture.

"Well, I mean, we always are, it's just so quiet without Kazzandra's blabbering mouth." Silvia explained. "True. We'll I don't blame her. She does have some really interesting stories. Can't help but listen to her." Finnian and Silvia nodded at (Y/n)'s statement, she does have stories that can entertain.

"So you said something about recharge?" Finnian asked, stopping on his tracks. "Yeah, just for a while. You wouldn't mind would you?" (Y/n) question, gripping on straps of his bag. "Yeah, go on, looks like you need it." Silvia said, pointing out the dark circles under my eyes. "Oh, and don't worry about Kazzandra's notes, we'll just visit her later." Silvia added, patting the bag that was beside her.

"Where'd you even get those?" Finnian began to examine (Y/n), looking closer to him while pointing at his dark bags. "It's nothing. Just, slept... kinda late last night... well, I gotta go. See you at dinner." (Y/n) left in a hurry, not even giving the two time to respond. Which left Both Silvia and Finnian in a puzzled state.

Back to, (Y/n). He swiftly made his way to the library that was empty. (Y/n) smiled, and let out a sigh, loosening the grip on the strap of his bag. He then made his way to a seat and sat down. He took out all of the papers out of his bag and set it on the table. Plugging in both the bud of his earphones, and began to do his homework.

Music dominated (Y/n)'s head. Hid body slowly moving with the song. He was quick to finish his homeworks. They were only a few anyway. And right after he had finished, he stretch up his body, letting a few bones pop. Letting loose of his tense body.

(Y/n) then began to clean his area, slowly showing in the papers into his bag. But quickly took out a book from it, and started to read. The book was called "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" even though it was targeted for children (Y/n) enjoyed it (Although he's only 11).

He received this book during Christmas a year ago. He was exited when he got this, he stayed up all reading almost the whole book, and finished it the next day. Now it was his third time reading it.

Meanwhile. Draco, he was trying his best to concentrate on his homework, bit can't. Because of the loud racket that was happening, and not to mention Pansy. Draco was doing his best to detach himself from the girl. Out of irritation, Draco stood up from his seat and collected his notes. And tried to head out.

Emphasis on the word tried. Pansy took a hold of Draco's arm and and asked "Where you going Dracey?" To which Draco respond with "Library" blatantly, and the yanked away his arm away. Leaving the pug shocked and confused. (No one cares to be honest.)

Draco slowly made his way to the library, getting lost a couple of time but when he got there, there was someone there. (Y/n), a smile crept onto Draco's face as he made his way towards the boy. But stopped half way, noticing the smile on his face. Which he quickly dropped to a sneer.

And then continued. He then sat fight in front of (Y/n) as he tried to ignore the boy. Again, TRIED. Although (Y/n) didn't even notice Draco in front of him. And Draco was grateful that (Y/n) didn't. And then he began to do his work. Scribbling on the piece of parchment. And every once in a while, his eyes would travel to (Y/n)'s gleeful eyes. And he would smile.

When (Y/n) was about turn the page, he finally noticed the blond, and he jumped.from his seat, shocked to see him. "Oh! M-Malfoy, I... didn't see your there..." (Y/n) sheepishly said. Hiding away the book from Draco, and also snatching his earphone off of his ears. "I noticed." Said Draco, calmly.

A blush then crept onto (Y/n)'s cheeks. "So, what're you doing here?" Draco asked, resting his chin on his palm. "Well, I just did my homework he- and why would like to know?" (Y/n) quickly halted, giving Draco a look of suspicion. "What is it bad?" Draco smirked, staring into the red-faced (Y/n). "No, although. I can ask you the same. Why are you here?" (Y/n) narrowed his eyes, Causing Draco to drop his smirk. "I was gonna do my homework... I was just about to start..." Draco said the last part barely above a whisper. But, (Y/n) was able to pick up those exact words, causing him to snort. "What? What are you laughing at?" Draco demanded, making (Y/n) chuckle. "Nothing. It's just that. I thought that "The Great" Draco Malfoy has already done his home work already."

(Y/n) said lowering his head a smile adorning his face. "Well! Someone does need some rest! That's why I still haven't got anything done." Draco blushed, averting his eyes away from (Y/n). "You're so cute..." (Y/n) started to play with a loose strand of his hair, twirling it around. Causing Draco to shift his eyes back to the boy. "W-what?!".

And then, (Y/n) began to laugh. It was true though. Draco is cute, with a an ego a size of a universe. But that ego quickly shrank into a size of bean. "I'm just teasing Malfoy! Don't get your mind in a twist." (Y/n)'s laugh slowly died down. "Is that it? Are you done?" Draco asked, looking irritated and disappointed. Almost as if he was hoping that (Y/n) was sincere with the compliment.

"Yeah... uh... sorry, you should probably get back to your homework. I-"

"You wouldn't mind helping me, would you?"

Said Draco, his head now turned away, his face red as a tomato. (Y/n) mouth out a "what?" Shocked, Mr. "Pure-blooded know-it-all" Draco Malfoy... asking for help? From a wizard raised from the muggle world that he hates with suck passion. And not only that, he is that one boastful piece of crap that thinks he's better than everyone, is asking someone that he (somewhat) disliked.

"I-I'm... I don't mind...uh. what do you need help with?" (Y/n) leaned forward, keeping his eyes down on the table.

For the rest of the evening, (Y/n) help Draco get through his unfinished homework, sneaking glances every once and a while. Draco's confused expression would always make (Y/n) smile. 'He's just that cute.' (Y/n) thought. And as for Draco, he would do the same. Small glances whenever (Y/n) was explaining something to him. He would focus on (Y/n) lips, and he would space out. Only to be snapped back into reality by (Y/n) himself.

However. When they were to catch each other staring, both would awkwardly smile at each other. And quickly turn away from each other. And as soon as they finished Draco's homework, Draco sighed from exhaustion while (Y/n) yawned. "Tired?" Draco asked leaning a little closer to (Y/n). "A little bit..." (Y/n) replied. Quickly grabbing his book once again. And opening it to where he was before.

Draco, much like when he arrived here, began to watch (Y/n) again. And (Y/n) was quick to notice this time. "Uhm..." he said. Putting the book down once more keeping it open this time. "Do you need anything else?"

"Oh! No... I'm sorry. I'll be going now." Draco began to collect his stuff and shoving them into his bag. "Uh.. thanks again. For the help I mean." Draco began to walk away, still facing (Y/n). "Uh, yeah. Sure. You're uh... welcome." Said (Y/n), but he then noticed that behind Draco was another set of seats. "Oh, watch of for the-" too late. Draco already fell. Out of shock, (Y/n) stood up and made his way to the blond. Then cupping his hands to his mouth to try to hide the shock, and the smile that was about to appear.

Once Draco got his composure back, he quickly stood up and blushed hard. "I uh... gotta go!" He said as he turned around and speed walked away from the (h/c)-nette. Who was left there standing in place. With only one thing on his mind. "What. The. Fuck. Just. Happen?"
