Like I have said before Aladdin is my favorite Disney Princess movie and I love Princess Jasmine. Aladdin came out in 1992 which is the same year when my parents got married. I still love the original and feel there are some things in the original that I prefer over the life action. I love seeing Robin Williams as the Genie. He was amazing. He brought his comedian style to the role but I also love Will Smith Genie because I feel that even though he his no Robin Williams he still made the character his own. Using his hip hop flavor into it while at the same time honoring the great Robin Williams. I do prefer the tiger in this one and both Jasmines and Aladdins I love but obviously the original A whole new world was better. I also prefer the Sutton in this too and Jafar and of course Iago. Iago was my biggest problem in the life action one so of course I prefer Iago in the animated one. He had more of a personality. I also really like the big reveal scene with Jafar singing Prince Ali (Reprise) as he is revealing Aladdin. I wish they did that in the life action one but I'm glad they wrote Jasmine a new song. I also really love the ending of this one with Jasmine being in the hour glass and Aladdin having to fight Jafar's giant snake. I wish they had that in the life action. So with all of these things I would say the animated one is better but I did really appreciated that they had Aladdin and Jasmine meet earlier in the life action one and with Jasmine's song "Speechless." That's what made the life action one better but still either way the animated one was still perfect just the way it is. I also favorite the way Jafar pushed Aladdin into the water in the life action one but didn't care about the contract stuff. I liked in the animated one Genie went into the water and Aladdin's head nodded unconsciously. I love both A friend like me scenes. 

I feel that maybe Arturo could be my new Aladdin but we will see.
