Dipper's POV

~The Next Day~

I woke up and looked at the time. It was 8:57 a.m. I got off of my bed and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth really good (making sure it looked fresh). After I was done, I took off my clothes and hopped into the shower. When I was about to turn on the water, I saw a big pink pig (Waddles) in the shower with me.

"Waddles, get out of here. I need to take a shower."

Waddles wasn't listening to me and stayed in the shower with me. 'I guess I should had known that animals aren't going to listen to me that easily'. I picked up Waddles and took him out of the bathroom (lucky for me, no one was around). I went back into the bathroom and took my shower.

After I was done with my shower, I went to my room and put my clothes on. After that, I went downstairs to eat breakfast with Mabel and Grunkle Stan.

"Here's your breakfast, Dipper".

"Thank you, Grunkle Stan".

"Hmm, you seem to be in a hurry. What are you going to do today?"

"I'm going to meet up with my friends...and we're going to walk around together and chat."

"Okay then, I hope you have a great time."

I could tell when I said it in that way, Grunkle Stan was curious, but he didn't make it into a big deal, and he continued eating his breakfast. The reason why I talked that way was because Mabel, not only not speaking, but also kept glaring at me during my conversation with Grunkle Stan (she's still glaring at me). After Mabel and I finished our breakfast, we washed our dishes. We weren't talking to each other at first, but Mabel decided to start our conversation.

"Who are going to walk with?"

"My friend. You don't need to make it into a big deal."

"You're lying! Dipper, I know you very well that if it was just a friend, you would had ask me if I wanted to come with you!"

I looked at Mabel and when I saw her, she looked like she was on the urge to cry. I put the dishes down, dried my hands, and hugged Mabel.

"I'm so sorry Mabel. I'm sorry".

Mabel hugged back, and I can tell that she was crying (she was trembling and she was making my shoulders wet).

"Please tell me who are you going with?"

"Sure."

After I said that, Mabel walked out of the kitchen (probably to clean up her face). I finished cleaning up the rest of the dishes and went to my room. When I got there, Mabel was on her bed, writing in her notebook. I walked and sat next to her.

"Mabel, the truth is...I'm having a date with Pacifica at the park today."

When I looked at Mabel, she looked so happy like she was in a 'gummy bear' world. She got off of her bed and started dancing. 'What the heck is she doing'. When she was done with her dance, she grabbed her notebook and started to write some more in it. When she was done, she showed it to me. It read: I would like to help you out on your date. The reason I'm so happy is because if she's nice to you, she'll be nice to me. I been reading and watching shows that contains drama and romance with Candy and Grenda. I know what you have to do. All you have to do is to be yourself, but act like a proper man. If there is anything that you do is wrong, I will come in and make things better (don't worry, I'm going to wear a disguise).

'It's like she knew I was going to tell her that I have a date with Pacifica, because there is no way that she can write fast within seconds.'

"Okay, I will make you come, but only if I know your disguise is good and that you will be 15 feet away from us."

"Okay."

After that, Mabel went to the closet and pulled out different clothes. When she was done, she took off her clothes and put the disguise on. Of course, I looked away when she was changing (I'm not a bad boy). When she was done, she revealed her disguise to me.

"What do you think?"

"It looks great."

"Shall we get going?"

"Yes, and make sure you don't ruin our date."

"Oh please, you should say that to yourself. I know dates very well. The stuff I watch haves 5 seasons and I watched all of them. Also, the stuff I read have 12 volumes. I only read 8 so far."

"Okay 'Miss Professional', lets get going."

Mabel and I walked out of the Mystery Shack and walked to the park.
