18. Jake's Hell

"hey Jake!" the poor boy didn't even get some time or second to even speak when Y/n immediately took her chance to grab the latter's collar, pushing him at the nearest wall, pinning his taller fragile body after barging inside his classroom. Tons of whispers immediately filled the whole place.

"yah." she spoked sternly, sending shivers down his spine as Jake ended up gulping upon her deep death stares. "what did you told them this time!" she began to shout.

"c-calm down for second," the boy struggled to say things as he was still in shock upon her greetings... or probably not a total greetings at all. With that, Y/n finally losses her grip upon his collar before and breathed out.

Jake then took a deep sigh, puckering his lips before he began to talk and sort things out.

"just forget about what happened two years ago, we're not kids and we're not those rascals back in middle school." Jake started, making her look down upon remembering some of their shits back two years, well Jake was actually one of the angel inside the group.

"you should make things up with them too," he suggested, making her look up but soon avoided stares aswell, being the stubborn girl she was.

"make things up my ass, y'all literally betrayed me back then how was that an excuse!?" she started to ask, angry and confused at the same time.

"that's my point," Jake tried to argued as both of them literally forgot about the people who were surrounding them, yet those students didn't seem to find their stuffs interested as they go on with their life.

"they want to say sorry to what they did," he said, making gestures with his hand as he talk.

Y/n sigh, brows knitted as she didn't know what else to say. Her heart was still full of so much anger upon what happened two years ago, she suffered a lot just to get through that and it wasn't that easy doing it alone.

"Y/n," he called, sadly frowning as he move to held her hand, sending his puppy eyes.

"let's all be friends just like last time," he said, using his angel self once again. "let's just forget everything that had happened in the past, forgive and forget like what they say"

"yeah Y/n, you should forgㅡ"

Someone spoke from behind but didn't even get to finish his statements before receiving a rough punch upon his cheek as he was being thrown on the floor, gladly one of his friends caught him before he could.

"Noona!" one of them shouted, making Y/n turn to him as she pointed a finger upon the younger.

"get yourself out of the picture Ni-ki," she said before facing the boy she just punch seconds ago as he now finally manage to stand with that someone's help from behind.

Everyone inside the room was left speechless aswell, all heads turning to their directions with mouth gaping and eyes widened upon witnessing the top student who was supposed to be seen as the most quietest person inside the school punching someone that easy.

Jake who was just holding her back also let go upon seeing her glare, shooting at his existence.

But before the fight could go any further, the bell rang, indicating it was finally the first period of class, Y/n breathed out for second before sending her stares upon the guy.

"you're lucky," she said, sternly before walking pass through him, wanting to exit the room.

"Y/n," one of them called once again.

But instead of turning around to speak a word, Y/n continues to walk, tears threatening down her eyes but she manage to gulp them off as she approached her classroom.

"what now? She seemed pretty angry." the pink haired guy who was having the blonde hair the other day said, shaking his head.

"Jay, you okay?" Jake asked, worriedly upon his friend.

"yeah, I'm fine" he said before pecking a finger on his cheeks as he hissed in pain. "aish! That small creature still punch well"

Jungwon and Ni-ki could only snickered upon his word but shut their mouth upon him throwing glares at them. Sunoo only stick his tounge, teasing the hell out of him.

"I guess we should take things slow," Heeseung, being the oldest one decided to suggest. "what we did before was actually bad," he said, sighing down in dismay.

"oh yeah, don't you guys have the plan to proceed to your class? The bell just rang," Jake started to talk making all of them scattered out the whole room in no time.

Arriving inside her class, Y/n immediately flopped herself onto her chair before taking some of her notebooks inside her bag, including pens as Wonjin turn his head to meet her.

His eyes then darted upon her knuckles, only to see it being red out of nowhere.

"what did you do?" he asked, brows furrowed.

"just threw a punch on someone's face?" she shrugged before leaning back her chair as she waited for their teacher to arrived.

"you stubborn little brat!" he cuss, making a phase about it before taking her hand, startling the girl as she pulled away but was held back. She was left no choice as Wonjin started to caress the top of her knuckles.

Right then, she felt her cheeks heating up. It became worst when the teacher arrived as they all had to stand to give her some greetings and Wonjin didn't even let go of her hand and even intertwined their hands together.

It gave an impact down to her fragile soul as her heart began to increase it's pace, she also felt like there's something stuck on her throat and if she speaks her word would fail her.

She was in deep confusion of what was happening when infact what she feels inside her stomach explains everything.

'why do I feel like I'm starting to like him?'

After greeting their teacher, they all sat down. Yet his grip stayed there, holding her hand firmly as if it was something easing.

Feeling the urge to held her chest, her eyes widened at how fast her heart beat was, she could end up winning a marathon if she could only ran.

Turning to him, all she can show was the light surrounding those surreal face. His side profile was just to unreal to even describe and she can't even seem to point out even one single detail of ugliness and now all she can ask herself was, why, why?

Sensing those stares from the side, Wonjin immediately turn his head to face her only to see her staring at him as if he was the only view around. He then raised a brow.

"you okay?" he asked, fluttering his eyes in confusion.

"I'm not gay," she then shook her head in response, trying hard to make some reason.

"I said 'are you okay', I didn't asked if 'you're gay' idiot!" he said, sighing in disbelief as embarrassment hit Y/n's soul as she nodded her head, unconsciously.

"yeah, sorry" she said, almost immediately before facing the front of class to listen to what the teacher was talking about before she could miss something from the lesson.

Wonjin turn, slightly pecking a glance on her before a smile shy smile curved on his lips.

The class goes on with their hand still intertwined with each other and it looks like they even forgot about that and concentrated upon listening to the class.

This was the first time in years that Wonjin acted like this, he somehow found someone to his reason to leave like a person he was before.
