Part 14: Round 2

          He collected the flowers and handed them out once again, exchanging Jessica's for a cleaner one.
          "Blindfolds on!"
          The mafia stood, retrieving a short, thick blade. Staring at Garret defiantly, he broke the stem to his own flower. He made little noise when Garret cut his neck, slicing halfway through.
          "I'm sorry, Katherine," Drew spit out, his voice barely audible and gurgling from the blood invading his throat.
          An intake of breath could be heard from the detective, Ally, as she saw the young man's breathing slow, his eyes draining of life as he laid on the carpet. She accused Kyle, but, of course, was incorrect.
          It was time for voting, and a heart-wrenching scream could be heard from Katherine as she saw the ocean of blood forming around her poor brother's head, a stream flowing from the wound like a waterfall, quickly slowing down.
          "I'd like to have you know that Drew chose his own fate," Garret said, strolling around the group as if he was taking walk in the park. "What a fool, figuring he could be the hero who bought the others time. I had less mercy for him. If only he was a little girl, maybe then his death wouldn't have been as painful."
