Part 11: 911

The group entered cautiously, but without resistance. Inside was a somewhat large room with seven chairs in a circle, another door opposite the one they were crowded around. In the middle of the circle was a table with a cloth covering something on it, a small lump underneath.
"Do you like it?" Garret asked.
"Who's she?" Jessica asked promptly, pointing at a chair near the far wall. There sat Ally, a rope wrapped around her torso.
"Oh, this is Ally. She also received an invitation from me, but she was less willing to show up," he replied.
"So you kidnapped her?" Kyle asked.
"Don't worry about it," Garret said, waving him off.
"What were all the threats about?" Nina asked sheepishly, her nervous temperament showing.
"I wasn't lying. I'll do what I have to," Garret said, quickly becoming serious. "Putting that aside, lets play a game!" he proposed, becoming cheerful again.
          "What game?" Kyle asked.
"I'll tell you in a second. I have to go get some materials," Garret replied, leaving the room.
"Okay, I'm calling the cops," Jessica said, pulling out her phone. "This guy's crazy."
          "Yeah, definitely," Ally said.
"Quickly, he'll be back soon!" Katy said.
"911, I'm with six other people and we're all in some crazy guy's house," Jessica said, putting the call on speaker phone and telling the operator the address.
"Okay, can you escape?" the lady asked.
"The door's locked," Aaron replied, banging on it to try and break it.
"He'll hear you! We don't have much time!" Ally urged.
"What is the man doing right now?" the lady asked.
"'Getting materials' for some game we'll be playing," Jessica said. "He sent us invitations and threatened us to come. He even kidnapped someone!"
"Okay, the police are on their way. Don't hang up," the operator instructed. "What's this man's name?"
"Apparently Garret. Please hurry up, he'll be back at any moment-"
Just then, the door opened and Garret reentered the room, carrying a box, and saw what was happening.
"Oh, you think the police will help?" he asked, his eyes squinting and the corners of his mouth turning up to create a grin that would stay in the victims' minds forever. "We'll already be halfway done when they arrive. This game is very effective in getting rid of you... and lethal," he added, laughing.
Garret set down the box and started walking towards Jessica and grabbing for her phone. She backed up until she was trapped in a corner with nowhere for her to go. He snatched the phone right out of her hands.
"Come and get me," he told the operator, ending the call.
