A school dance not exactly what i need every year we have a back to school dance its mostly just about who got the most prposals to go i myself have gotten some recently but i dont wanna go out with someone i have no inteset in staying with but my mother insist me an gordie go

which means we basicaly have to.

"rose why dont you come hangout wigth me and the gang youve been inside al weekend"

I sighed "okay I'll be down in a sec"

I honestly don't want to go but for gordie thinks I'm all in into some sort of depression I'm not sure if it's true you'd think I'd be able to know if I'm depressed

But I haven't thought about my feelings and I would not like to

I sighed as I put on my chucks and made my way down the stairs

"Ready to go" gordie asked I noded as we began walking

"Rose I think Chris likes you" gordie said I looked up at him in a little bit of shock but I kinda thought I could be a posibility for him but I never thought it would really be true

"Ya think?" I had a small smile on my face

"Yea whenever I say something about you he always listen and he talks about you alot"

"Oh" I sighed as we stopped at the bottom of the tree house

Gordie climbed up doing their "secret knock" I followed after him

"Hey guys" I smiled all the boys were here

They smiled back

"So what do you guys wanna do " vern said

I sighed I'd rather be at home but now that I knew Chris liked me maybe he would go to the dance with me I know it's not really his thing but I'd like to get to hangout with him I think Chris is good guy and I wouldn't mind staying with him

"Hey rose will you go home and get the playing cards from my room please I'll owe you big" gordie asked with a pleading smile I chuckled

"Who wants to come?" I asked not wanting to walk alone but also hoping Chris would come

Chris put out his cigarette and stood up signaling he would come I smiled as I stepped down from the tree house and waited for Chris to follow

As he landed to the ground we began to walk

"Thanks for coming Chris it's getting dark in a little and I hate to walk alone"

"I don't mind actually rosie I wanted to talk to you about something i-"

I don't know what prompted me to do so but I interrupted him

"Do you wanna come with me to the back to school dance I mean I know it's not your thing but my moms making me go and when I thought of who I wanted to go yours is the only name that came to mind and I know-"

Chris laughed " jesus fuck rosie can you even breathe you're talking so fast"

I smiled and took a breathe "sorry I get it if you don't wanna come"

He frowned "rosie I'll go with you I was gonna ask you out but the dance is ok I guess"

I smiled "okay good"

"Good" he copied

We walked a little more until we reached my house Chris followed me inside

"Mom! We just came to get something were gonna go back outside"
I heard my mom yell an okay so I ran up the stairs to gordie room I assume Chris is behind me

We walked into gordie room Chris shut the door I looked around I found them under his bed I grabbed the cards and turned around

"Okay we can go" Chris nodded and we headed back down the stairs
Once we got to the bottom I saw my dad's study door open

"Chris run!" I whisper yelled he look confused but did as told we ran out of the house

Once we got a good distance we stopped running to catch our breaths

"What was that about?" Chris asked confused

I sighed "my dad I dont want him to see me I'm wearing shorts and he likes to get me in trouble for that my mom doesn't really mind them but my dad's another story"

Chris laughed which caused me to smile " I think your shorts are cute" Chris smirked

I rolled my eyes "come one let's go" I bumped him a little with my hip to get him to walk he bumped me back harder which made us laugh

We almost got back to the tree house when We saw eyeball and ace
I always thought it was sad how their still here in this dumb town their a couple years older then us but they've already graduated last year yet their still here causing trouble

Which sometimes made me worry about Chris but I knew I didn't have to he has a good influence and gordie would never leave Chris behind and Chris he's not a bad person

Chris stopped walking I knew he didn't like to be around his brother more then he had too

I elbowed him "just ignore them " he noded and we kept walking as soon as they saw us they began to laugh

"Did Chris get a girlfriend" ace said stepping in front of us

"Why jealous girls can stand him unlike you" I said

Eyeball laughed and ace looked impressed
"Oh rosie you've grown up" ace moved my hair out of my face "Don't touch me!" I slapped his hand

He laughed "You've really grown up your pretty hot now you know I like girls like you"

Before I could reply Chris stepped in front of me "ace your a jackass you know"

"Looks like he really did get himself a girlfriend" eyeball said

Ace put his hand up in surrender and moved out of the way

"just know rosie if you ever wanna hang out with some real men I'm here"

"Eat shit!" I yelled as we kept walking

Chris didn't say anything to me the whole time until we got to the tree house. "That's guy is such shit are you ok?"

I smiled and gave Chris a kiss on the cheek and headed up the latter I knocked and vern opened the door

"Verno!" I yelled the boys laughed

"You seem happy" teddy said I noded

Chris climbed up and got back in his spot as gordie shuffled the cards

"You know ace is a real asshole gordie"

Gordie raised his eyebrow in suspicion "you guys run into him or somethung "

"Yea he basically asked rosie to jumped not bed with him ugh! I hate that guy"

Gordie eyes basically popped put of is head " he did what rose are you okay ?! I'll fucken kill him I swear "

"Gordie it's okay Chris handled it"

Chris snorted "barely" he mumbled

I gave him a glare but he didn't scare

I sighed "let's just play" teddy said

We all agreed and passed the cards around
