Impressions: From the same author as Single Dog Ending System. I really liked that one so decided to check out author-sama's other works. Hmm... this is just okay for me, only 3 arcs, my favorite is the last one.

So our MC is an incubus, he was being chased / harassed by Angel ML. He decided to accept a contract(?) to help humans in exchange of their souls so he can go world hopping and he can also hide for awhile.

Arc 1 - Bamboo Horse Tour (Chapter 1-27) - The 'client' is someone who committed suicide. After his death, he saw that his husband was not sad at all and was even feeling victorious. Turns out that his husband was reborn and OG's rape (reason for his depression) was even orchestrated by him cos he hated OG. OG wants to know the reason why and also, does not want his family and friends to be tricked by the two-faced husband so he made a deal with MC. MC occupies OG's body and pretend to go along evil (future) husband's plans but not alienating his friends like in the last life. Angel ML follows MC here and his identity is a rich businessman. After revenging on evil husband, MC left OG's body to him and said he will collect his soul after his death. OG got together with his childhood friend (bamboo horse)~

Arc 2 - In the Name of the Father (Chapter 28-45) - The 'client' is a serial killer / villain in a novel. After his daughter's death, he hunted down those that were involve in the crime syndicate. Laters, he confessed his crime and committed suicide before being arrested by the 'protagonists'. MC comes in and shares a body with the OG. He is like a 'System' here in which he only speaks in OG's mind. Laters, he would often leave OG's body to hang out with ML. ML's identity is a police superintendent and assigned to the crime syndicate that OG killed in the last life. After arresting the syndicate and dealing with the transmigrator, MC left OG's body to fall inlove with ML in his own body~~

Arc 3 - Moonlight and You (Chapter 46-64) - ABO world. Double rebirth. The 'client' is an Omega who grew up with the Alpha Prince. Because OG is 'slow' / has child IQ, he does not understand the malice / intrigue of the people around him so he is harmed by them. The Alpha Prince likes OG BUT he is not sure if OG can even understand romantic love. Finally, OG was marked by a different guy but was later abandoned.  Then Alpha Prince was reborn, MC also gives OG a cheat, where in he can see the 'favorability'/'dislike' of the people around him so he can be wary of them. Finally, he signed up as an OG's caretaker(?) so he can protect him firsthand. ML is an Admiral here~

Like I said, it was just okay for me. It feels weird to me if the OG is still there and can even speak/interact regularly with MC. Also, MC would sometimes even 'abandon' the body so he can be with ML (cos the OG has his own CP), so the 3rd arc in which MC has a separate identity from the start is the most comfortable for me.

Saw the reviews criticizing the author-sama for all the rape on the novel: the 1st world OG and #spoiler evil husband , 2nd arc daughter and the 3rd arc OG (?) and his bully. Hmm... how to say, I honestly didn't notice it until it was pointed out cos author-sama didn't dwell on it too much. It was purely used as plot device. In the 1st arc, it was more about OG's depression; 2nd arc, about the OG's revenge for his daughter. 3rd arc is ABO and Omega's heat is often used as a trope. There is mention about how author-sama seems to be victim-blaming which I think is referring to the bully (#spoiler Alpha Prince's Omega little brother) for being 'weak', but from what I see, this was mentioned from our incubus MC's POV, so I think he has a different set of morals from human/people and not necessarily author-sama's POV. Anyway, it's the reader's freedom to drop a novel if they're uncomfortable with it.

Overall, just an okay QT (for me). I still prefer if either the MC would 'take over' the OG or just go full-assist (like in the 3rd arc) instead of sometimes sharing the body, sometimes not. I like that MC allows the clients to live out their full lifespan before collecting their soul though~ whether he's doing it cos the soul will be tastier that way or he's just being kind. Plus points to him for that XD. Read this for incubus MC with a cat x Angel ML.
