Ship Wreck

Damian: *groans* What the..-

Marinette: Ahh, the princess finally woke up from his unconscious slumber.

Dick: You really took quite a beating in that battle.

Jason: I enjoyed it to the fullest.

Tim: He really didn't show any mercy.

Marinette: Non of them will. Not even me.

Damian: Thanks for the confidence.

Marinette: Oh, and about your powers...I think I know how to help you unlock them.

Jason: She's gonna beat us up, isn't she.

Marinette: I never said I'll be teaching you, someone else will. *grins*

Tikki: Don't worry, the person she's talking about is very kind and patient. Trust us.

Marinette: You wanna come too, Mr. Wayne?

Bruce: I'll pass.

They looked at each other before sighing. Damian was then allowed to leave the office and went outside to see Marinette and his brothers waiting. "Come on sea-snail, we haven't got all day!" He rolled his eyes swimming up to them. Marinette began to swim off and so they followed her. They swam until they were out of the bubble that surrounded the city. They looked at each other sending glances back and forth.

Marinette: Ok, the first thing that I'll be teaching you is speed swimming. We have a long way to travel if we want to get there and back by sun down.

Tim: Mind telling us what that is?

Marinette: Do you see that rock all the way over there near the seaweed garden? *points*

Dick: Yeah..

Marinette: Well I'm gonna swim there and back in under a minutes.

Jason: Impossible.

Marinette: Hmm..I beg to differ.

She turned around and faced the direction of the seaweed garden. "Ready?" They nodded. And with a flap of her fin, she was off leaving a tiny bubble trail where she swam. They stared in disbelief as she made the turn and was back stopping in front of them. She chuckled at their faces.

Jason: I can do that?

Marinette: If you try and practice. Let's have a race. I'll lead the way so basically, you four will be doing the race. If one of you can catch up to me, then you win.

Tikki: Simple enough. And I'll be racing too. I'm probably even faster than Marinette.

Marinette: Yeah, yeah.
Ok. On your marks, Get set...

Go!!

Marinette swam off first at top speed. Her lily giggled and swam right after her, "Come on, boys. Or else you'll lose to Damian." The three batboys turned to see that Damian was gone. They then scrambled to catch up with him. He turned around and saw his brothers catching up to him. He grinned as he took a deep breath of water. He looked up to see frozen crystals of water Marinette left behind.

He flapped his tail a few times and then it happened. He was off like a bullet. His brothers' jaws dropped at the sight. They tried it too but it took them some time until they finally managed. Marinette stood patiently waiting with her lily. "Do you think they'll be able to do it, Tikki?" She shrugged and then immediately spun around when she heard something coming. Marinette looked and saw a figure incoming.

It circled around her then stopped. Damian. She smiled then tilted her head to see the others in coming. "Looks like you win, Damian." He turned around smirking at his brothers who glared at him.

Damian: So, where are we?

Marinette: We're in the Guardian's Trench.
If you look down there on there little cliff, you'll see a very old shipwreck. That's where we're headed.

Jason: Are there by chance..any sharks?

Marinette: Sharks don't feast on mermaids nor mermen, pufferfish.

Dick: So..what or who is down there?

Marinette: Come on. I'll show you.

They swam deeper, further down into the trench. They halted on the deck then entered through the door leading into the ship. "Master! I'm back!" she called out. Then a short, old, wise looking man came out through a door with a soft smile.

Fu: Marinette, Tikki, welcome. And I see you've brought some very 'unusual' mermen with you.

Marinette: Boys, meet Master Fu, my secret teacher.
