When he made Kao get out of his room, Kao couldn't step away from the closed door. He heard War crying even if he was trying to be as silent as possible. He didn't know why Yin and War were fighting and why both had red,  teary eyes but it must've been something very serious.

War didn't go to school. Earth and Kao heard War turn off his alarm but he didn't come downstairs for school. They didn't say anything, they would let him have a day off. They went to work but told Milli to stay with him.

Yin told Fluke that he was feeling sick. He didn't want to go to school either.

"Today you have to go and sign up for the fundraiser" -Ohm said when Fluke was checking Yin for a fever.

"Can't I go another day?" -Yin said.

"No. It's today. You aren't sick" -Ohm said. Kao had texted him telling him that Yin and War had a fight and that Yin was on his way home. He wouldn't stay over.

"You probably didn't sleep well" -Fluke said touching Yin's face. "Go to bed. It's fine" -Fluke said. Ohm didn't object. Yin's eyes look like he had cry all night.

"Sleep some more and go to the company in the afternoon" -Ohm said and then left for work.

"You don't want to eat breakfast first?" -Fluke asked Yin but he shook his head and went back to bed.

He was in bed contemplating whether to call War or not. He tried to sleep but couldn't. He went downstairs to talk to Fluke about it.

"Apa" -Yin said walking in the kitchen. Fluke was trying making a new dish for the restaurant.

"Yes? How are you feeling?" -Fluke said cutting some peppers.

"Fine" -Yin said.

"Do you want to eat something? You can try my new dish" -Fluke said and Yin nodded. Yin and Fluke would always be the first ones to try a new dish.

"Apa. Can you call Uncle Earth and ask about War?" -Yin said sitting down on the counter stool.

"Why?" -Fluke asked concerned.

"We had a fight last night. It was bad. He yelled at me and Uncle Kao heard" -Yin said looking at the counter.

"What did you fight about?" -Fluke asked.

"Do you promise not to get mad and not to tell dad?" -Fluke said. Ohm would probably scold him.

"mm" -Fluke said.

"He likes me but different" -Yin said. He didn't know how to say it.

"I know" -Fluke said. He noticed it before and knew what Yin meant.

"The other day when we had dinner with North, he was really mad at me and I didn't know Ploy was mean to him. He thought that if he told me she was mean then I wouldn't believe him and choose her" -Yin said and took a deep breath.

"Would you?" -Fluke asked wanting to know if Yin would choose and believe that girl over War.

"No" -Yin quickly answered. He answered so fast.

"So he was really mad so I went to his house later that night and I--I kissed him. I wanted to do it. It was like an impulse but--" -Yin said. Fluke put the knife and peppers down. He was in shock.

"You kissed him on the lips?" -Fluke asked.

"It was a peck" -Yin said unable to look at Fluke in the eyes.

"But then I regret it because I knew how he feels about me" -Yin said.

"You don't feel the same way?" -Fluke asked. Yin and War were always so close.

Yin didn't answer the question.

"It feels weird. Both of our parents are men and now us will be the same" -Yin said finally looking at Fluke. Fluke sighed.

"That has nothing to do with how you feel" -Fluke said.

"People will--" -Yin was saying but Fluke didn't let him finish the nonsense. Yin was concerned about what they would say about his parents and family.

"People can say whatever they want. You shouldn't care about anything other than how you feel. When did you start caring what people think?" -Fluke asked. He was sort of disappointed about that.

"I don't. I just don't want to be with--" -Yin wanted to say it but didn't want to offend.

"a boy?" -Fluke asked. Yin was silent again. Fluke knew the answer already. Fluke took a deep breath. His child just said that he didn't want to be with a boy.

"Well then you don't have to be with someone if you don't want to. I'll call your Uncle Earth to ask about War" -Fluke said and turned around to put the peppers on the pan.

"Apa, I'm sorry" -Yin said almost crying. He saw Fluke's reaction.

"It's ok sweetheart. Don't contact War, okay? Let him have some space" -Fluke said. He could imagine how much pain War was in. Yin was being selfish.

"But I want to make up with him. I want-" -Yin

"No" -Fluke said with a serious tone.

He put the food of plate in front of Yin.

"Eat" -Fluke said. Yin nodded and started eating.

It was silent for a couple of minutes.

"It's good" -Yin said with a soft voice about the new dish.

Fluke called Earth to ask about War. Earth told him that he didn't go to school and was feeling sick.

Yin took a shower and changed to go to the company.

"Hey dad" -Yin said opening the door to Ohm's office.

"Hey. Your uncle Kao wants to talk to you" -Ohm said. Yin's stomach started to hurt.

He went to Kao's office. The secretary told him he was there but he hold back. He was scared.
He finally went in.

"Hi Uncle Kao" -Yin said and bowed to pay respect. He was really scared.

"Why did you make my boy cry?" -Kao said with a serious tone. He had that scary face.

"We had a fight" -Yin said looking at the floor.

"About what?" -Kao asked but Yin didn't want to answer.

"Uncle Kao---" -Yin was saved bu the monitor. Yiwha told him that a manager called.

"We will continue this talk later. Go sign up for the fundraiser" -Kao said.

"Yes, Uncle Kao" -Yin nodded and quickly left the office.

Yin signed up for the fundraiser. He went to his dad's office to fill out the form after getting it from the human resources center in the company.

"Your friend and War's friend signed up" -Ohm said.

"Which friend?" -Yin asked.

"The mean girl and North" -Ohm said.

"Don't call her that. Her name is Ploy" -Yin said. Ohm stood up and sat down next to Yin.

"What happened yesterday with War?" -Ohm asked.

"We had a fight" -Yin said.

"Yin" -Ohm called him. Yin stopped filling the form and turned to look at him.

"You are fighting too much. Do you think that is normal?" -Ohm said. He was worried about them. Yin was silent.

"Listen, I think you and War should stay away from each other for a while. I talked to your Uncle Kao and we won't go to their house for a while too" -Ohm said. Kao and Ohm had talked about it. Kao couldn't get over listening to his child cry. He knew War wouldn't tell him anything especially after what happened with North.

"But I can fix it. I will talk to him. We do have fights but we always make up" -Yin said. He could stay away from War for a day until he calms down but not for a while. It would be too long and War would think he didn't care.

"Yin, it wasn't a question" -Ohm said. He touched Yin's shoulder and stood up to go back to his chair.

"It is between me and War" -Yin said.

"No it is not. We are a family. And both of you are hurting each other. You are not to go near him for a while. I mean it Yin" -Ohm said. He wasn't talking coldly. He was being as soft as possible to his child.

Yin finished his form for the fundraiser. He gave it to Ohm and went home before Kao called him to his office.

Earth came back home earlier than Kao. Milli told him that War didn't want to eat and he has been in his room all day. Earth went upstairs to check on him. War wasn't asleep but he was just laying down with his eyes swollen.

"What is it baby?" -Earth said laying down beside him.

"I am stupid" -War said hugging Earth.

"No you are not sweety" -Earth said.

"Is Yin the boy you like?" -Earth had to ask even if he knew the answer.

War nodded and cried. Earth hugged him tight.

War fell asleep on Earth's arms. Kao came back home. He went to War's bedroom and laid with War and Earth.

"He has to eat" -Earth said.

They made War stand up to ear. He ate but was silent. As soon as he finished eating, he went back to his bedroom and laid down.

"I had a talk with Yin but he didn't tell me what happened. I'll ask him again and make him tell me" -Kao said standing up to wash dishes. Milli had left already.

"No, Kao." -Earth said hugging Kao from behind. "Leave him alone" -Earth said.

"I heard War cry all night. I need to know what happened" -Kao said. Earth made him turn around.

"War will tell me when he is ready. Please Kao, don't scold Yin" -Earth said putting his hands on Kao's neck.

Kao sighed but agreed. He kissed Earth. They went upstairs to check on War. Earth didn't let Kao stay with War. He would probably feel annoyed later.

War woke up. He didn't want to go to school but he had to. He had missed already. Earth took him to school.

Yin saw War get out of the car. He was going to approach but he remember what Ohm said. War didn't even look around him. He went straight to his classroom.

War wasn't paying attention at all. He just wanted everything to be over. He was walking to his next class when someone grabbed him by his arm. He thought it was Yin and quickly turned around but it was North.

"Hey. Are you okay? You didn't come to school yesterday, right?" -North asked.

"Hi. I was a little sick so I stayed home" -War said. North nodded.

"Sorry for not texting back. I slept almost all day yesterday" -War said. He turned off his phone all day and turned it back on in the morning and saw all the texts.

"It's fine. I'm glad you are fine" -North said.

War still couldn't pay attention in class. He couldn't concentrate and his head was starting to hurt thinking about practice. He didn't let Bar know he would be absent.

Bar scold him a little for not going yesterday. His swimming times were worse than the other day. He practiced until his times got a little better. He was mad at himself because his situation with Yin would get in the way of everything.

He finished late. North had told him that he wouldn't see him after practice because he had a family dinner. He was the last one again in the lockers. He didn't even care to shower, he just wanted to go home.

"Hey" -Yin said. War was waiting for Earth to pick him up.

"Hi" -War said softly.

Yin sat down next to him.

"I haven't been able to talk to you. I wanted to give you some space" -Yin said.

"Yin" -War said. They both looked at each other. "I think maybe we should stop being this close. I don't want to fight anymore. It hurts" -War said with a soft voice.

"Do you want me to stay away from you?" -Yin said with a sad voice. He wouldn't be able to do it.

"Just for a while. Please" -War said. Yin made him stand up and hugged him tight.

"I'm sorry, War. You are still the most important person in my life" -Yin said kissing the side of his head.

Earth picked up War. Yin had left already. He wanted to cry but he wouldn't anymore. It was time for him to be without Yin for a while. He needed to think about himself first from now on.
