Chapter 3 - A Suprise Info

So the Great 8 have gone to the lobby concession stand to get food, and have found Mitsuami while she was in the middle of doing the 'something'. But what exactly is this 'something' that she is doing?

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T LIKE THE CRAB FOOD THEY HAVE HERE?!?!" Barreleye shouted. " IT'S WELL- IT'S- UHH..Well-".

"The crabs taste like s**t," 8-Bit said. "I swear to cod whenever I used to order anything with them, the staff always put TONS of salt on them. I stopped getting it after that.".

"Can you guys ,like, stop fighting over the food here?" Hornmet asked, sipping her drink.

"Yeah, please, " Shellmet agreed. "Do you guys wanna eat in the locker room? My feet are still dying from when tripped over your dynamo yesterday, 8-Bit.".

"GIRL. I already said that was an accident! Plus, you were the one who wasn't looking where they were going.".

"Wait, Shellmet TRIPPED OVER? No damn way," Ocho said.

"You should have been there," Wire said. "Listening to two girls screaming at the top of their lungs at each other for ages. Funnest thing you could ever do.".

"Shut up Wire! I don't even know how her feet started hurting afterwards! She tripped, she didn't turn her ankle a billion degrees!".

"You nearly ran my feet over before you noticed. THAT'S why.".

"Are we going to the locker room?" Shady asked.

"GAAAAAH!!!! SHADY?? Sorry. You're so damn quiet I always forget that you're there," Hornmet said. "But yeah. Let's go.". The group walked over to the locker room, followed by the whispers of other Splatlandians who admired them.

"Oh? MITSUAMI! Hiiiiii!" Barreleye yelled across the room to where the yellow inkling was standing, fumbling with something in her locker.

"Shut up, Barreleye," Ocho said. "You don't have to flipping shout to her. She's not deaf.".

"WH- GUYS???? WHY ARE YOU HERE??? I'M NOT DONE DOING THE THING YET!!" Mitsuami shouted, turning around in fright. She banged her locker door shut. "I NEED LIKE- UHHHHHHHHHH- 2 MINUTES. THAT'S ALL.".

"Okay, we won't look, " Shellmet said. "Let's go sit in the corner area where we can't see her.". The gang sat down. Pretty much 2 minutes later, Mitsuami came over holding a box, smiling. "The thing was just a box? Why?" Hornmet said, staring at the box in confusion.

"NO! Let me show you," Mitsuami said, placing the box down and opening it. "So, because we're all such good friends- NO SARCASM- I got all of these for everyone.". She pulled out a walkie-talkie. "I decorated them myself, with everything you guys like. This way we can communicate when our phones are dead!!". She handed them out to everyone.

"Uhh, that's.. great, I guess?" Ocho said, looking at his. "But w-".

"OH MY COD FINALLY SOMEBODY APART FROM SHELLY GAVE ME THE EXACT RIGHT COLOR!!!!!!!!!" Hornmet shouted. "THANK YOUUUUUUUU!!!!". Mitsuami went over to the pink inkling and whispered.

"I actually made these so that we could, y'know, maybe see what those two do when they're alone together, " she said, quickly looking over to where Ocho and Wireglasses were sat to give Hornmet the clue. "Ohhhhhh. I see. I like that plan! If you're gonna tell the others, DON'T tell Barreleye. He'll give it away.".

"Heheh, I won't.". Mitsuami whispered the same thing to everyone excluding Barreleye and the (you know whos). "Huh? Why can't I know? Is about me?? Have I done something?" the yellow octoling asked, noticing that he hadn't been let in on the secret. "You just..can't. It- uhh.. you just wouldn't understand," Mitsuami said. "And uhh, you two, it umm- you wouldn't care.". She smiled an awkward smile, trying to maintain her act. She put the box back into her locker, before returning to the group.

"Sooo, whaddyu guys wanna talk about?" 8-Bit asked.

"OH MY COD- WIRE, PLEEEAAAAAAASSEEEE TELL US THAT STORY YOU WANTED TO TELL US ABOUT THAT TIME GAKURAN-CHAN TRIED TO THREATEN YOU WITH A F***ING STICK, " Shellmet begged.

"OKAY- You don't have the shout like that, " Wire said.

"Wait. I need to use the bathroom*. I'll be right back, " Shady said, getting up.

"Welllll, while we wait for him, can I show y'all that video of my brother tryna do a backflip? I swear, I nearly pissed myself. It's so damn funny, especially when he keeps saying he can do it," Hornmet asked, getting her phone out.

And while she was doing this, Ocho and Wireglasses were thinking the same thing. Why would Mitsuami give them all walkie-talkies, then whisper something to all the others. Barreleye was stupid and probably wouldn't understand whatever it was, but why would the girl leave them out? All they could do was wonder until they found out the real reason...

*I HC that there is a bathroom in a different part of the lobby that can't be accessed in-game.

Whoaaa, two chapters in a day. Pretty good if ya ask me. Also guys I like to HC that Wire and Gakuran have this beefing problem for no reason. THAT'S definetely enough writing for today. Oh and yes Hornmet DOES have a brother. Thanks for reading <3 Love y'all.
