(Y/N) POV

I swear my stomach did multiple flips, and my vision started blurring. My body felt extremely off balance and sore, as if I was spun around in one of those spinny chairs for an hour straight(gAY).

'Fuck, my blood feels like it's boiling...' I thought, clutching my head and sitting down onto the ground, taking down all my defences.

"Oh? Her body seems to be fighting against the blood." Rui said curiously, walking up to my shaking form. "Maybe I should inject some more?"

The family didn't say anything, but they all seemed to sense something and run off. Maybe more demon slayer entered the forest? I don't know, but they left me and Rui alone, again.

"....don't you f-fucking dare." I hissed through gritted teeth, though it was a extremely weak threat. I started twitching a bit, not being able to control my body.

I swear I could hear the smirk on his face. "And what are you gonna do in retaliation? Beg?"

'He literally sounds like Tsukishima holy shit.' I thought, but my head suddenly hurt, making me flinch even more. 'Fuck, no thoughts head empty yourself-'

Rui was about to fully turn me into a demon, until a certain voice stopped him.

"(Y/N)!!" Tanjiro screamed, emerging from a bunch of bushes. Nezuko's box was on his back as always, and he shakily gripped his sword, that was already sheathed.

I panicked— I didn't want to drag Tanjiro into this, and get him injured or killed. I could never forgive myself if I did.

"Stay away!" I hissed, glaring at him. I couldn't exactly glare at him though, because of the spots in my vision.

Holy shit he looks like cheese but with black, moldy holes bYe-

"What are you looking at?" Rio asked, playing with the threads on his fingers, that slightly dropped with his own blood. "This isn't a show for you to watch."

I had another tremor vibrate through my body, making me shake. Tanjiro worriedly looked at my form, then glared at Rio.

"What do you think you're doing...!" He grit his teeth.

"I'm adding her to my family." Rui stated, as if it's obvious.

"...did she consent?" Ganjiro raised an eyebrow, not thinking that I would do such a thing.

"Consent? I just injected my blood into her." He shrugged. "She'll probably forget all of her memories by the time she's fully become a demon."
"Although," Rui looked at my weak form. "Her body is fighting against my blood."

A wave of relief washed over Tanjiro, but it disappeared as quickly as it came.
'I'll defeat him and save (Y/N)... I'm sorry Inosuke, I swear I'll come for you as soon as I can!' He thought, gripping onto his sword*.

[*= in the manga Inosuke and him were in trouble and fighting the father demon, but Inosuke threw Tanjiro at the main source of the spiders so that they can finish everything quicker or some shit.]

Tanjiro ran at the Rui, who quickly reacted and launched his threads at the demon slayer. Tanjiro cut at the strings, but his sword broke by the hardness of it, making the threads cut his cheek and arm. Fortunately the wounds weren't fatal.

As the two fought, I mustered up all my strength to get away from them, not wanting to get in the way. I was able to crawl a good ten meters away, and leaned my back onto a nearby tree. I winced as I felt the uncomfy-ness of something unnatural invading my body suddenly grow even more.

'Fuck, now I feel like one of those useless female characters that are constantly protected by the others and do absolutely nothing-' I bit my lip at the thought. 'Not my fault for being a dumbass.'

"NEZUKO!"

A scream snapped me out of my thoughts. I quickly looked up to where Tanjiro was looking, only to see Nezuko hanging in the air, just like how I was.

My eyes widened, as I felt my chest tighten at the memory of the pain. I didn't act like it hurt, but that's simply ✨my way of coping✨.

Omg I got a newfound thing that I've traumatized myself about ❤️👄❤️

"Quiet down." Rui muttered, the scratches on his face swiftly healing. "She's a demon unlike that friend of yours. She'll heal quickly. Except, I might leave her there to burn in the sun a bit after I kill you..."

My breath hitched, and another wave of pain erupted through my brain.
"FUCK, NO NEZUKO NO LIFE BITCH!" I screeched, mustering up all the power I have to jump up to where she was hanging, and burn the threads, letting her escape.
As soon as I did that, My vision started to fade.

'No no no!' I mentally hissed, feeling the fall go slower then it probably was. 'I need to stay awake!! Or....or I....'

"(Y/N)! (Y/N), wake up!!" I heard someone whisper-yell, shaking my body.

My eyes remained closed, but the sharp pain that washed through my veins made me gasp and snap my eyes open.

It was still night, and we were both laying on the dirt ground, and Tanjiro held Nezuko close to him. I saw a man wearing a half-half haori behind Tanjiro, but didn't pay much kind when the unknown dude sliced Rui's head off, mainly because I could barely see them.

"Oh thank god you're awake..." He smiled, but the tears that were threatening to spill was very visible.

"Y-you too..." I trailed off, but immediately covered my mouth with my hand as I went into a coughing fit. After it died down i looked at my hand, and seeing clumps of my blood on it.

'Lick it' a voice in my head said.
'Wtf this is a emotional moment stfu'

Tanjiro diverted his gaze from me to elsewhere, and I followed his vision. I saw Rui(without his head—) walking towards us blindly, and fall right next to the three of us.

I weakly smile, lifting a shaky hand to pat his back— the closest thing to a hug I could do at the moment.

We watched as his body slowly crumpled to ashes and flew into the air, until only his clothes remained.

I heard a few footsteps, and looked up to see the Half n Half man step onto Rui's clothes.

"Don't give monsters who eat humans such affection," He said coldly, "even if they look like children. It was probably a monster that has lived for hundreds of years."

I would stand up and kick the motherfucker where the sun doesn't shine, but I was fUCKING UNABLE TO DO SHIT. Rui, I love you, but why did you inject your blood into me—

Ok now this half n half Todoroki ass lookin bitch's nickname will be Piss Baby— I bet no one likes him.

Luckily, Tanjiro stood up for the poor demon in my place. "Of course, he is a demon who has eaten hundreds of people and killed the mercilessly, and I wouldn't hesitate to cut their heads off. But they are such pitiable beings. I would never go as far as to step on their clothes after they die. Even demons were once human. The same human as I am. So please, move your feet."

Piss Baby stared at him, and his eyes trailed down onto Nezuko's sleeping form.
"....you....."

He was about to finish his sentence, but another person lept at us at inhuman speed, interrupting his sentence as he deflected the stranger's attack.

"Hm? Why are you getting in my way, Tomioka-san?" A petite woman with a butterfly haori asked, landing not too far away.

'.....holy shit she's beautiful please stab me with your fabulous sword.' Were my only thoughts as I stared at her features. 'FUCK NO I MUST REMAIN LOYAL TO TAMAYO-SAN—'

"Although you said that it's impossible to befriend demons, you seem to be doing to opposite of what you said!" She smiled, "You know, that's why no one likes you~"

"....I am not disliked by everyone." Piss Baby bluntly said.

"I—" I finished my sentence for once, "I KNEW NO ONE LIKED YOU!! YOU LOOKE LIKE THAT TYPE OF PERSO—" Nevermind, I didn't finish my sentence—another fit of coughing forced its way out of my mouth.

"Oh my, I apologize," she gave a sickly sweet smile, "I didn't know you were in denial."

'—like how Trump is in denial of his loss—' I wheezed, wiping the blood off of my lips with my sleeve.

"Hey, the little boy behind Tomioka-san," she said.

"A-ah, yes?" Tanjiro stammered.

"That thing you're protecting is a demon~" she hummed, "and you're little friend right there is most likely going to turn into a demon any moment now, so I recommend you move away from her."

The butterfly girl(shit we need a nickname—)'s words irritated me. But of course I can't reply to her or else I'll start coughing out blood again 😀.

"T-this is my dear sister!'" Tanjiro exclaimed. "A-and—!"

"Oh my, is that true?" She gave him a sad expression, "well, then ill make sure that her death will be quick!"

Tanjiro and I were fucking speechless.

"...can you move?" Piss Baby asked us, not bothering to turn his head.

"Absolutely fucking not." I said, my voice raspy.
"I can." Tanjiro replied.

"I need you three to run." Piss Baby said. "Carry your friend and sister and run."

'.....well shit I'm useless as fuck.' I thought, degrading myself even more.

"T-THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!" Tanjiro yelled, carrying me and Nezuko like potato sacks over his shoulders.

"Tanjiro just leave me behind and run with your sister..." I said, coughing a bit more.

"No! You're my dear friend!" He denied, "and this might not be a great time to say this but I l-"

I guess finishing sentences is illegal now because ONCE AGAIN did someone interrupt his sentence and jump onto his back.

I made eye contact with the girl who seemed to be me and Tanjiro's age, and emotionless.

She swung her sword at Nezuko to cut it off, but Tanjiro grabbed onto her haori to throw her backwards.

"NEZUKO! RUN! (Y/N), MAKE SURE YOU GET AWA—" The girl(mORE NICKNAMES?!)kicked his head into the ground, probably knocking him unconscious.

Luckily(?) the girl focused her attention to Nezuko more, sensing that I wasn't a demon(yet?).

'Ah fuck.' I thought, my vision blurring once again. 'Ahahaha my strength do be going ✨🤌💅peace out🏃‍♀️💨✨'

I decided to just accept my fate of being pitifully weak and black out ✨
