Chapter 4 - Mission Complete!

"We're just um..." Isla trailed off nervously as the two other policemen drew their guns.

I sighed and thought fast. I clenched my fists and placed my hands on the first policeman's shoulders, pushing him down while I used him to lift myself up to kick the other two hard. They were unconscious in a few seconds.

"That'll do it." I landed and dusted my hands off.

"We need to make sure they don't wake up and go tell the police force." Isla worried.

"We'll shoot them with stun guns, it'll be fine. We have access." I took my stun gun out.

"Yes, but it's a classified mission." Isla reminded me as I shot them each a few times and put them in the car.

"Whatever. Let's get on with it." It was getting close to noon, they were running out of time.

"Okay." Isla shrugged as I used my grappling hook to swing myself up.

I zipped the violin case open and got my sniper rifle ready. I aimed at one of the men and shot, he fell to the ground and as the other turned to look I took him out as well. We got in to the creaky elevator and I turned my infra-vision on as I readied my pistol. The doors opened and there was a dark hallway with two corridors leading from it.

"Okay, turn on your watches. Keep a look out. Go!" I whispered and turned on my watch before walking out.

We stayed together and I could see four other red shapes on my vision. But we didn't know how close we were to those men. Suddenly two men rounded the corner and froze when they saw us. They were about to call the others when I whipped out my daggers and threw them at their communication devices. They glared at me and immediately started shooting at us. I grabbed Isla and we went behind two metal boxes. The men were still rapidly firing at us and coming closer and closer. I must have put my hand too far out because they shot right through it. I screeched in pain as Isla immediately turned around and shot the man that shot my hand. He fell to the floor as I clutched my hand. The remaining man ran towards Isla and picked her up by her throat, slowly and painfully choking her. I groaned in pain as I struggled to get my gun out. I reached and picked up my dagger. It'll do. There was no time to waste, my hand was bleeding heavily and darkness was starting to cloud my vision. I crawled to the man as fast as possible and Isla was barely conscious when I stabbed his foot deep with the dagger. He roared in pain and bent down to pick me up. I swallowed my pain and leaned back, using my hands to hold me up as I lifted my legs and kicked him. He stumbled back and banged his head against the hard concrete wall. I crawled over to Isla, shaking her till she woke up. She murmured and opened her eyes, saw the man getting up behind me and shooting him. Isla fell back, exhausted.

"Isla! We still have to take down the other two! Don't give up! We'll be okay!" I shook her until she opened her eyes slowly.

"Behind you Raven!" Isla yelped as I turned around, but not fast enough.

A bullet hit my upper arm and I gasped at the pain. I turned around and took my last knife. I ran up to him and rolled as he shot me. I then used his shoulder to propel myself up so I was sitting on his shoulders. I stuck my knife in to his head and he fell to the floor.

"One more to go." I refused to let my legs buckle as I grabbed my knives and Isla got up.

We crept through the hallways and was about to round a corner when I stopped her.

"Wait, we must be nearly there." I checked my watch and it showed that we had that corner, and then there would be a big room. The papers would be kept in a box.

"There's a man there, guarding it." Isla remarked as I readied my pistol.

I peeked around and saw that the man was definitely going to be tough to take down. He was the most burly and stocky out of the six, and he had long chains that glittered menacingly. I told Isla, and we counted down before we attacked.

"3,2..." I pulled out a grenade.

"1!" I yelled and leaped around the corner, throwing the grenade.

It exploded, sending a big bang. The man fell from the impact of the grenade and I could see it had hurt him quite badly. He took up his gun an growled at me, seeing me first. I jumped around, avoiding his gunshots as Isla sneaked up behind him. She stepped on a rock and it rolled. The man turned around in surprise and I took my chance. I ran up behind him and stuck my knife in to his head right before he shot Isla. It hit her thigh and she buckled. I hurried toward her but she gestured to the box. I grabbed the box and Isla, and a helicopter lowered down as we reached the entrance of the warehouse. We got in and handed the box to the man, who assigned medicals to assist us. A few minutes in to the ride back and we were already unconscious.

I hope you like this! I won't leave a long message 'cause I'm tired lol. Byee!
