Pov Dipper

I feel like my body is rejecting me, but at the same time, it doesn't. I felt like I could barely even wake up. I could only think. I felt someone's hand on my forehead and than a wet cloth.

I slowly opened my eyes expecting Mabel, but it was someone else. It was a young girl with dark chocolate skin, dark brown spring curls that ended towards her elbows, soft dark brown eyes, and a scar across her neck.

I had two thoughts that went across my mind when I saw her. Start to panic and become defensive because I don't see my sister, or not panic because I'm no longer in Annebeth's home.

"Hello?" I muttered softly.

She quickly removed her hand from my forehead and placed her hands behind her back. I started to sit up but she placed her hands on my chest. She nodded no.

"I haven't gotten up in a while," I told her, "Please, let me."

She slowly removed her hands from my chest and nodded yes. I sat up and looked around to see myself in a pleasant room.

"Have you been the one taking care of me?" I asked.

She nodded her head, yes.

"How long have I been here?" I asked.

She raised her hand and placed three fingers in the air.

"Days?" I questioned.

She nodded, yes.

"Thank you for taking care of me," I smiled, "What may your name be?"

She facial expression went dull. She grabbed my hand and opened it. I felt her finger trace letter on my palm.

"R-U-T-H," She spelled.

She can't speak.... I took a deep breath and smiled.

"My name is D-I-P-P-E-R," I see her face brighten.
"You can understand me?" Ruth signed.
"Yes," I smiled, "The woman who raised me had a brother. He couldn't hear since he was little and he would visit often so we had to learn."
"I haven't meant many people who can understand me," Ruth explained, "They don't understand my language."
"Would you like me to do this or may I speak?" I asked.
"I don't mind which one you use," Ruth signed, "But I would like of you to used your hands."

I nodded okay. She smiled and hugged me tightly.

"Do you mind of I also speak and use my hands at the same time? It helps me form words," I asked.
"It's alright," Ruth nodded as well.
"Thank you,"

Ruth got up and handed me socks and shoes. I thanked her and put on my things. As I tied my shoes I asked Ruth.

"Have you seen my sister?"
I looked up and she signed, "L-I-L-L-I-A-N has been talking to her quite a lot. She's trying to get something from her, but I'm not sure what."
"Will they do anything to us?" I asked, "If we don't give them what they want?"
"I'm not especially sure," Ruth answered, "They won't do much I think."

I got up slowly and Ruth helped me. I told her thank you as she smiled.

"Where can I find them?" I asked.
"I don't know where they've gone off too," Ruth explained, "We can try to find them by ourselves."
"Alright," I smiled.

Ruth showed me around as we looked for Mabel and Lillian. Ruth asked me small questions and I answered as best as I could.

She asked me if I was staying and I told her that I'm not because I needed to go home. Ruth frowned and I felt bad because it feels like she doesn't have a friend here.

All of a sudden a red alarm went off. I was confused when she grabbed my wrist and started to run. I asked what was wrong.

She stopped and explained quickly, "We need to go somewhere safe. Something dangerous is in the building."

I followed her to a room, but it was to the other side of the building. I don't know how big this mansion is, but it might take a while. We both froze as we saw this spider like creature.

"Run!" I shouted.

We both ran the opposite direction as quick as we could. Ruth took off her heels and threw it at the spider. We made it into a dead end and our eyes widen in fear. She held on to me tight as she started to shake.

"I don't like spiders either," I said.
"HISSSS!"

It was about to hit us until it didn't.... We both opened our eyes and a shield was formed.

"What happened?" Ruth sighed as the spider kept hitting the shield.
"I don't know," I answered her.

It started crack and Ruth hugged me tight. I held her and looked at the spider.

"I'll keep you safe," I muttered.

The shield broke and I quickly let go of Ruth. I threw myself on to the giant spider and started to punch it. I know it wasn't much, but it was enough to keep it busy.

"Ugh!" It threw me against the wall and it was going towards Ruth.
"Don't touch her!" I shouted.

I felt power race through my body. It happened quickly. One moment was on the ground and the next I see the spider injured.

"Do not touch her," I glared at the beast.

The spider lunged towards me and I looked down at my necklace for a second. A soft glow was appearing. Random symbols appeared on my hands and went into the rest of my arm.

"Sit iam morte animam tuam pervenire ..." I touched the spider and it d-died.

What did I even say? It just came out! I felt like I was saying gibberish. I turn around and saw Ruth terrified.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

I see Ruth race pass me and I turned around. I saw the blonde gentlemen, a blue haired gentlemen, and Lillian. Ruth was being held by the blue haired man. They were all holding weapons...

"In what gods happened here?" Lillian asked.
"Ruth, are you alright?" The blue haired gentlemen asked.
She nodded yes as the blonde gentlemen glared at me, "I don't trust this one."
"How did he stop the spider?" Lillian asked.
"It's one of Annebeth spiders probably," The blue one answered.

My eyes widen when I looked at my hands once again. Those bloody marks are still there. I rolled up my sleeve and I was correct. It's all over my arm.

"I'm sorry," My hands shook violently, "R-U-T-H, forgive me for scaring you. I'm scared too..."
"What is he saying Will?" Lillian asked.
"Didn't you say he could speak?" Will asked.
"Will, for bloody hell translate man!" Lillian shouted.
"I-I'm sorry," I answered, "I didn't meant to scare Ruth."
"How did you slay the spider?" Lillian asked.
"I don't know...." I answered honestly.
"Strange mortal...." Lillian muttered.

Ruth nodded no violently.

"He is no mortal. He spoke like B-I-L-L and
W-I-L-L when they speak their native language. Strange and great power came from him." Ruth explained, "I didn't understand his speech but when he touched the creature it died. His body glowed, his eyes as bright as the blue moon but then dark as ink for a moment."
"Ruth, he's a mortal and there is nothing more than that," Will sighed, "If he were a demon he wouldn't need our care."
"This mortal doesn't seem like a fighter," His voice sounds familiar.
"Sofia! Melvin! Clean this creature up, please!" Lillian shouted.
"You have to believe me," Ruth sighed.
"Follow us please," Lillian told me.
"Where's Mabel," I asked.
"I'll bring you too her, but answer this question for me," Lillian asked.
"What is Annebeth selling? We found a letter and she was writing for someone about property," Lillian asked, "Is it a jewel? A weapon? A poison?"
"You still haven't found it huh?" I muttered.
"That's why I'm asking," Lillian sighed.
"What did my sister tell you?" I asked, "Because she might have told you and you're mixing up a few things."
"She told me that you were tortured by Annebeth and Richard. Mabel also told me that you were being trained for someone and she threatened to do something to you," Lillian said out loud, "The letter said that he wanted them trained and ready for transportation. Mabel also told me today that you were suppose to go to somewhere else."
"She already told you and you didn't pay attention or you have the right clues and you're not connecting the obvious," I said.
"What?" Lillian muttered.

Lillian told me to follow. They all started to think about what I said and what they were told. I followed from a distance and Ruth kept looking at me. The blonde gentlemen stopped and looked at me.

"Why are you and your sister worth so much? Who was she going to give you too?"

Lillian stopped and stared at me.

"Pardon?"
"I-I don't know but Richard told me little about the arrangements," I explained, "All I was told that a man wanted us. For what I don't know, but it was for something dangerous."
"This makes sense on with the evidence," Will said.
"Do you know information that's worth pounds?" Lillian asked.
"No," I answered.
"They can't see the marks on your skin..." Ruth sighed, "Why can I?"
"What marks?" Will asked her.
"What?" I looked at my arms and I could see them.
"They can't see anything," Ruth looked at me.
"Lets to talk to Marilyn," Lillian, "She needs to know this information."

I was lead into a room and I saw Mabel. Mabel hugged me as tight as possible.

"Dipper! I was so worried," Mabel smiled.
"Are you alright?" I asked her.
"In heavens, this again...." Mabel looked at my arms.
"They can't see it," I whispered.
"They can't?" Mabel muttered.
"Ruth can, but I don't understand why," I told her.

The room went silent when an older lady came into the room.

Third Person

Marylin froze when she saw the twins. Mabel and Dipper stared at her until they looked away.

"I can see that you're doing well," Marilyn smiled softly.
"When can we leave?" Mabel asked.
" As soon as you're brother answers a few questions," Marilyn answered Mabel.
"We have some news," Lillian told her.
"And what is it?"

Mabel looked at Dipper and smiled softly. Bill looked at Dipper. Bill was thinking about what Ruth had said earlier.

"We weren't looking for something to keep safe, but someone," Lillian explained.
"What Lillian means is that Annebeth was planning to sell these two, but why?" Bill explained.
"I see," Marilyn muttered.
"Is there anything else you need to ask me?" Dipped asked.

Ruth kept signing to Will that he wasn't a human. Will kept telling her that it wasn't possible because he could have escaped the situation he was in. Ruth stomped out of the room and Will followed behind. It wasn't like he didn't want to believe her... he just thought about it. They would have escaped the moment they got caught easily.

"Since was there anyone else with you?" Marilyn asked Dipper.
"The only person I've seen in months were-"
Dipper froze near the end, "m-mostly Richard. I would rarely see Annebeth because she was with Mabel."
"I never saw Richard unless if he was with Mrs. Ward," Mabel said, "She forbid him to come in my cell with herself there."
"Was she strict about this rule?" Lillian asked.
"Extremely," Mabel answered, "She knew when he would be near my door without even there."
"Who killed Richard?" Bill blurted out.
"Oh yes," Marilyn muttered, "We're not upset about his death, but we needed him alive."
"For questions! We were going to place in the lost souls house after we were finished with him," Lillian said.
"Who killed him?" Bill groaned.
"I did...." Dipper felt a sour taste in his mouth, "He deserved it and I gave him no mercy."
"Dipper..." Mabel muttered, "You did?"
"I'm sorry that I took the life of the man you were after, but I couldn't let him go," Dipper told him, "Please, forgive me."
"Don't worry yourself," Marilyn smiled, "He would be as much use since his loyalty is towards Ward."
"Anything else?" Mabel asked.
"Yes," Marilyn said, "You must stay here for the safety of yourself-"
"You said we could leave!" Dipper shouted.
"The circumstances have changed," Lillian told them, "It's just business."
"You have no say in this matter," Marilyn told them, "You'll stay here until they have been stopped."
"No! I answered your questions and now we're leaving," Dipper grabbed Mabel's hand and tried leaving the room.
Bill grabbed Dipper's wrist, "You're not going where!"
"Let go of...." Dipper's, Mabel's and Bill's eyes glowed, "Me."

Marilyn and Lillians eyes widen when they witnessed everything.

Bill started to see everything that the twins have gone through. He saw everything through Mabel's eyes at first.

"Let go of me! No!" Mabel sobbed, "I-I don't want too!"
"You have no choice," Annebeth smirked.

She was being dunked into ice cold water and then being slapped or wiped.

"T-This feels wrong...." Mabel Annebeth, "I beg of you to let me go."

Bill saw every moment that Mabel went through and not being able to do nothing about it. He also saw the power that she had inside her body. Remarkable. Than he started to see everything that Dipper had been through. It wasn't pretty.

"I-I swear I didn't do anything bad! I followed your word!" Tears fell from his eyes.
"Listen here, Mrs. Ward wants you to be perfect for the Master." Richard smiled.
"A beautiful youth brought into my presents," Richard stroked Dipper's check.
"Aaahh!" Dipper cried.

Poison was injected into Dipper. Richard wasn't afraid to inject him with the poison that he could produce. He would be force to bring animals back to life that he would kill in front of Dipper. He could never bring lives back.

Dipper has been close to kill Richard many times when his eyes turned dark. Bill slowly let's go of Dipper and frowns softly. Dipper and Mabel look at each other terrified as Bill's lips started to move.

"I-I'm sorry," Bill muttered.

Dipper brings his hand close to himself and than looks Marilyn.

"We'll be leaving now," Dipper told her.
"You'll be haunted down, captured once again and tortured, be separated for good, even dead if it comes to it," Marilyn said, "If you want to go than fine.... be in danger and die."
"You have to do better than that," Dipper spat, "You're going to offer us a deal and say you can stay for a few days, but really you'll do the same!"
"We would never!" Lillian shouted.
"Sure!" Dipper laughed, "Unless, if you have someone that can understand our situation to say that you won't do the same thing-"
"Let's give them a chance," Mabel said.
"What?" Dipper looked at his sister.
"They would have done it already," Mabel mumbled, "We would have been tied up and abused."
"Annebeth did the same thing," Dipper mentioned, "Acted kind and stabbed us repeatedly."
"Take it from me," Bill clearly said, "You'll be safe as long as you stay with us. I know it's difficult but trust me it's better than out there."
"No..." Dipper muttered.
"Please reconsider.... I know you've been through a lot and those few moments ago I saw everything," Bill told them as they're eyes widen, "You won't be forced to stay here, but think about yourself and sister."
"I'll give it a chance, but the moment we are locked inside against our will.... I will have no hesitation to attack back," Dipper explained.
"We'll train you probably and figure out what are you," Lillian smiled.
"T-Training?" Mabel froze.
"E-Everyone does it here! It's incase we get attacked and everyone can defend themselves, but you don't have to take it." Lillian explained.
"You'll be taking it with no questions ask," Marilyn said, "With what happens a few moments ago you two cannot control those gifts."

Dipper and Mabel stayed silent when Marilyn told them that. Lillian and Bill followed her as Mabel and Dipper followed behind them. Mabel asked a small question before they were led to rooms.

"Can I write a letter?"
