Chapter 1

Yato Pov: 

The sports festival ended in mid-October, around the time of year when it started getting chilly. After the festival, the school held a general election to decide who would be the next President of the student council. I already knew who it would be... and students of upper years probably already know the answers too. But still, Immediately after the election concluded, the school ushered in the handover ceremony of the student council. It was a large-scale event that gathered students from the entire school to the gymnasium.

I was surprised by one thing... to see how much this event of the election of the President seemed uninteresting to the students of the first year. Well, I was not the best person to make that comment but it was because I already knew who will be elected. After seeing how this school worked from the start of the year... people should understand how much power the President has in this school. So this election was decisive for our future and that of the school itself.

Teacher: Now, here are some final remarks from president Horikita of the student council.

Following the moderator's speech, Horikita Manabu slowly approached the microphone on the stage. Seeing him walking towards the microphone, I decided to look at the girl who was a little further ahead of me... Horikita Suzune. I suddenly remember the face of the same girl at the start of the year when President Horikita made the speech of welcome for our first years. Back then she seemed intimidated by this man, it was a part of her personality that nobody knew about it...

But now... She was looking directly at her brother with a firm look. 

Horikita-senpai: I am proud and grateful to have been able to lead the student council for almost two years. Thank you very much.

Wow... his speech is what is called going straight to the point. After his brief statement, Horikita Manabu quietly retreated and returned to his original position.

Yato: ...

To be honest... I still don't have a real opinion on the man called Horikita Manabu. I saw him on some occasion but I just talked with him one time.  And it was during this talk that I start to have doubts about this man. He affirms that I don't have what is needed for the council but he asked Kiyo to become the vice-president...and the other point is his relationship with Kiyo. How does it find out the true ability of Kiyo? 

Yato: Sighs...

Again... we are back to the case of Kiyo ... 

Teacher: Student president Horikita has worked so hard for you all. Now, please welcome the new student council president, a second-year student of Class A, Miyabi Nagumo.

It was now Nagumo who walking toward the microphone. Among the student council members warmly watching over him on the stage, the figure of Ichinose could be seen. I was not the only one that Nagumo asked for joining the student council. 

Nagumo: I am Miyabi Nagumo of the second year's Class A. President Horikita, I really appreciate your strict and kind guidance so far. I am honored and would like to pay tribute to you. I am thankful for being able to accompany the legendary president who has played one of the greatest leadership roles in the history of this school.

I was quite surprised by his speech addressed to Horikita Manabu. They were not in the same school year but it seems that there was a certain relationship between those two.  With that, he bowed deeply in the direction of Horikita's brother and then refaced the students.

Nagumo: Let me introduce myself again. My name is Miyabi Nagumo. I will be the next student president of Advanced Nurturing High School. Please take care of me.

That's was odd... the attitude of Nagumo. Usually, he acts as if he is a king and proud of himself but right now he seems like a polite and gentle student. It was just some acting... because suddenly Nagumo smiled thin and small so as to change the calm atmosphere.

Nagumo: I'll get straight to the point. First of all, I promise to change the terms and appointment method of the student council as well as the practice of the general election. This will mean changing the date of the general election of the student council from December to October. This aims to set up a new generation of students as quickly as possible for the sake of the transition to this new era. I will change the tenure of the president and officers from terms to indefinite so they can serve until graduation. At the same time, I will abolish the current restrictions on the number of student council seats. In other words, as long as it is an excellent and necessary person, they can become a member of the student council at any time regardless of the number of slots that are open. In the event that someone is judged unfit for office, I will establish a system of a majority vote at the meetings for expelling them from their positions. As a starting point, let me make a declaration to the students, teachers, and leaders of the former student council who are assembled here. The school system of the future... I will destroy all that has been preserved by the previous student councils for the sake of the appearance of the school.

I couldn't help but smile at his speech... He spoke so forcefully that it seemed to negate all the merits of the former student president who stood behind him.

Nagumo: I originally wanted to implement this new system immediately, but unfortunately, I cannot do that. This is because the new student president will be bound by various kinds of constraints upon first taking office.

Nagumo glanced at Horikita, the former student council president, and then turned back to the students. 

Nagumo: I promise that there will be a great revolution in the near future. Students with strength will climb up to the top and those without strength will fall to the bottom. I will turn this school into a real meritocracy, so please show me what you all can do.

The gymnasium was immediately silenced by his declaration, but a moment later all the 2nd year students started screaming with joy and became rowdy. Maybe there was a battle between the second year and the third year that we didn't know about... but with all this scene I did start to understand one of my doubts...

The reason why Horikita Manabu thinks that I don't have what it takes for the student council is maybe linked to the relationship between him and Nagumo Miyabi. After listening to the speech of Nagumo it seems that Horikita-senpai and Nagumo didn't have the same view of the path that the school should take... but to be honest I didn't think that the President have this much power. This is beyond what I initially thought... but if I'm right about their relationship, it would mean that Horikita-senpai thinks that I'm someone like Nagumo... or it is because Nagumo himself scout me first?

But... that still does not explain the case of Kiyo and Horikita Manabu... Anyway, I was now remembering the speech of Nagumo...

Yato: A meritocracy huh?

Nagumo: So I hope you are ready for the future of this school. If you think you have what it needs for the student council, just come apply for a seat...

He then takes a pause in his sentences and starts looking at the crowd in front of him... it seems like he was searching for something... until...

Nagumo: Or if you weren't interested before and now you changed your mind about joining the student council... Come! It's never too late!

I guess that those words were for me... he was looking in the direction of my class when he said those words.

On these words of our new President of the student's council, us, students of the first years was the first ones to leave the gymnasium. 

The election of Nagumo Miyabi... I didn't know it yet but this event was one of the first steps of a lot of change in this school and for me.

Kiyo Pov

One such event ended, and after school on a certain day, it was now the middle of the second semester. My surroundings began to change little by little. Class D passed the uninhabited islands and sports festivals at a slow pace, but we began to have unity as a class. Everyone's small circle of friends gradually expanded, and the people who thought they couldn't get along were getting better at handling one another.

Everyone's attitude towards classes has also significantly improved. In the past, Class D had a problem with students arriving late, sleeping in class, talking during lessons, and perpetrating all kinds of unrest. Even Yato who supposedly had a record of coming late in the first month was now in class on time every day. 

But my concern was more about Sudo... After the sports festival, although the number of days since then is still relatively small, it's clear that his general attitude towards school has improved. Occasionally he can be seen a bit drowsy in class, but that is probably due to the impact of his intense practice in the basketball club. Even if he is behind on sleep, he always takes the time to write notes. This was because it's necessary for him to get his studies in order for the sake ofHorikita and the future of the class. Perhaps her surveillance during class has had a part in things as well.

The violent attitude that he had with his friends Ike and Yamauchi had become more gentle. He didn't want his beloved Horikita's opinion of him to worsen by letting her witness him shamefully rampaging about. I'm guessing it was mostly this that motivated him to change. In short, Sudo is growing steadily and he has begun to gain a better reputation amongst his classmates. 

At the same time, there were changes not only in Sudo's reputation but also with my own. Whether that's a good or bad thing, however, is hard to say.

???: Are you alone?

As I was sorting out the situation, I was called out from the seat beside me.

Kiyo: Is it bad to be alone?

My next-door neighbor, Horikita, seemed to chuckle. I stared at her blankly. Yato was surprisingly still in class... he was at his place next to Horikita and was reading his book. He was probably listening to us at the same time.

Horikita: Your dearest friends, Ike-kun and Yamauchi-kun. They've been inviting you along much less often.

Dearest huh? Why she is talking like Yato suddenly?

Kiyo: Is that so?

The fact that she always tends to go to extremes reveals the bad parts of her personality.

Hoirkita: Ara, my mistake. At lunch, you seem to be alone these days. After school as well as you can see.

We watched as Ike and Yamauchi left the classroom with The Professor. Are they heading to Keyaki Mall together? I had thought I appeared to be as calm as the Buddha, but Horikita seemed to see through everything... I even notice Yato start smiling. 

Right. This would be part of the changes with my own reputation. After the sports festival, It's been uncommon for me to be invited out by the two people who I had gotten closest to. No, it is more like they have completely ignored me.

Horikita: No way. They thought you were all birds of a feather, a bunch of useless students, so you stuck together. But you were actually hiding a lot of physical strength from them.

Kiyo: What is high physical strength? It's only that my feet are a bit faster, at best.

When I said that I notice that the smile of Yato disappear... I didn't talk to him since the festival ended. 

Horikita: But your footwork is fast, especially for a student. It's very fast. Besides, they've also probably started noticing other odd occurrences. They probably noticed that your measurement for grip strength was higher than average. You should know right? People have a basic tendency to hate others for being excellent, and your situation is that you've been hiding your excellence.

I know such a thing goes without saying. However, I also have to admit that I don't have a clear understanding of what counts as average. That I had believed that I was "just running a bit fast" was the truth. 

Horikita: Enjoy your solitary life.

Horikita gave a sarcastic look before getting up from her seat. I was expecting a comment from Yato like he always does to fool around... but this time he didn't say anything and just continued reading his book. Does he was not listening to us finally? Horikita stay there a moment looking at Yato but she finally left the classroom without saying anything else. 

As I saw her off, Karuizawa, who was still in the classroom, threw an indescribable glance in my direction. But as soon as our eyes met, she looked away naturally as if she never had any intention of looking my way in the first place. There was obviously some kind of meaning behind this look, but she suddenly get up from her seat and start walking in my direction... well more in the direction of the guy who was still reading his book on my right.

Karuizawa: Nee Yato-kun let's go home together!

He didn't answer immediately and seemed to still reading his book until he just put a signet and close his book. He lifts up his gaze to look at his ''girlfriend''...

Yato: Well I planned to read a little...

She interrupts him and suddenly grabs Yato by his arm to force him to get up...

Karuizawa: Let's go Yato-kun! I need to talk about something with you!

Yato: ...

He just stayed silent and start looking at Karuizawa until...

Yato: Sighs... Okay... Okay...

He then put his book in his bag to put his back on his shoulder. They both left the class after that... as I was wondering what to do now someone appeared beside me...

???: Hey, hey, Ayanokoji-kun.

I then turn my head and see that it was a girl... it was Sato.

Yato Pov: 

I just get out of the classroom with Kei. We weren't supposed to go home together today but she finally insisted with a strong gaze. There was probably a meaning behind this...

As we were walking towards the exit I asked what was the matter about all this...

Yato: So... why you wanted that I accompany you that much Kei?

I wasn't looking at her but she wasn't answering me... so I just turn my head to look but I saw that she was looking around to see if there was someone before speaking. There were just a few students around...

Yato: That's maybe more important than I initially thought... does it about Manabe and the others girls? Or a new problem? Or even Ryuuen himself?

Kei: Can we go talk in your room?

I just keep starring at her for a few seconds while thinking about all this...

Yato: I don't mind...

After this, we just take the start to go on the first floor to go change our shoes to go back to the dormitory. During the walk to my room, she didn't say a single word... To be honest I started to wonder what she wanted to talk about. It was maybe not the best time to deal with one of her problems for me... but I guess if she really needs my help I will help her in priority.

Arrived in front of my room, I just open the door and let Kei go in first. I just enter after her and remove my shoes and drop my bag on the floor close to the door. Kei immediately walks into my room and sits at the table while putting his bag on the floor next to her. I noticed that she immediately take out her phone and she seemed a bit nervous...

Yato: So Kei...

I start walking to my kitchen to go prepare some coffee...

Yato: What's the matter... you not like usual? Something happen?

She then closes her phone and she signed. She then starts looking at me...

Kei: She probably confessed at this time...

I didn't answer her... I just look at her for a few seconds until...

Yato: Huh?

Kei: I know I was surprised too...

Yato: Kei?

She just looking at me waiting for asking my question...

Yato: What the hell are you talking about?

Kei: About Sato... she was about to confess her love to Ayanakoji!

Yato: ...

I seriously don't know how to react to this news... and me who thought that there was something serious...

Yato: Sighs...

So Sato is in ''love'' with Kiyo huh? That's...quite odd? But I can see that Sato had moved forward from her past as I told her to do during the summer break... the story with my brother is behind her. But why Kiyo? Well, he gained a lot of attention after his race against Horikita Manabu... but did she fall in love because he run fast? Wait! I didn't say something like that before?...

Yato: Are you sure about that? And How did you know that Sato was going to confess to Kiyo?

Kei: She told me this herself! In fact, a lot of girls already know about this...

Huh? Sato told that to other girls? Why do that? Anyway, that's not what really intrigues me right now...

Yato: Okay but why are you telling me all that? All this does not concern us...

Kei: Well it could... after what happened on the cruise ship. Now I need to work with Ayanakoji and I might end up getting caught. The girl's information network is very wide. If rumors were to spread, it will be very nerve-racking for me. I'll be at an increased risk of getting involved in trouble. Even for you... what will happen if they find out about my relationship with Ayanakoji while we are supposedly a couple... 

Yato: ...

Kei: So I want to hear your thought about all this! Do you think that Ayanakoji will accept Sato's feelings? After all, you are probably the best person to understand what he will do, right Yato!

Yato: ...

Kei: Imagine if...

Yato: Okay stop Kei!

She is not like usually... I didn't think that would affect her that much.

Yato: Look... I don't think you need to worry about all this. To be honest I don't see him accept Sato's feelings... if she really confessed to him...

It's hard to believe that she will confess to him... they probably never talk before. But I suddenly remember the story with Manabe... so there was still a chance that Sato would confess to Kiyo.

Yato: Don't forget that we talk about Kiyo here... he doesn't like to stand out.

Kei: ... Yes you're right...

Yato: You should talk with him about this instead of me... like that you will have a real answer instead of stressing for nothing. 

Her phone then receives a notification... she takes her phone to read the message. 

Kei: I need to go Yato-kun...

She then gets up and takes her bag...

Kei: I will call him later to know more about all this. I will text you his answer...

Yato: Ehh yeah sure...

To be honest I don't really care about this but I just accepted... she was about to leave but I stop her with my voice.

Yato: Oh and Kei... don't worry okay? I know the reason why you stress about that... And I think you thinking too much about this. He said that he's going to protect you right? And same goes for me after we become a ''couple''... just be as usual and everything will be fine for you, okay?

Just didn't answer me immediately... instead, she just stared at me for a few seconds until she start smiling...

Kei: Thank you Yato-kun! You really kind when you want to!

Yato: Ehhhh what it supsoed to mean?

Kei: Haha bye-bye!

She just left my room after that...

I start thinking about all this situation but quickly stopped... there was nothing more to think about. 

Later that night I received a message from Kei telling me that Sato didn't even confess to Kiyo...

Yato Pov: 

BIP BIP BIP BIP

Yato: Sighs...

BIP BIP BIP......

I just touch the screen of my phone to stop the alarm...

I was still sleepy but I was slowly starting to wake up. After a few months in this school, it had become a habit to get up early...even if I still dislike getting up earlier. But getting up late and arriving late in class was not an option... even Koenji, the guy who is the most selfish, was there on time every day. 

Yato: Sighs... 

I just start to get up to sit on my bed for a few minutes while looking at some things on my phone. After I get up from my bed, the first thing I do every morning is to put on a shirt. I didn't put my bandages on my forearm yet... after putting a shirt on I start making a coffee while looking for something to eat. 

Usually, while I drink my coffee and eat something I just read one of my books or look at my phone... but I didn't have too many people who I usually text with them so most of the time I just read a book. It was my routine for every morning and to be honest... I don't really know how to feel about it.

It's been a while since I haven't had this lifestyle. Before coming to this school I didn't have a proper routine... every day was different. I was more... free? I still had things to do but there was not a definite schedule. Most of the time I was meeting with Keisuke and we were passing our time with Dazai and the others doing some work or we were just passing time at an arcade or ended up making us a bad reputation among the delinquent of Tokyo I guess... 

Said like that It sounds like I didn't have any problem but that's totally wrong. My lifestyle before coming to this school was totally not normal... even more for a teenager. But after living all that happen to me... you start to understand many more things than casual people I could say... the biggest thing would probably be a better understanding of good and evil. 

But right now... I could say that my life is quite peaceful. I still have problems like Kushida but I don't really consider the class matter like a problem... no more like entertainment. And even the Kushida problem is quite nothing compared to the problem that could happen before coming to this school... I don't know if I should be bored or I should enjoy my new routine?

I then look at the time...

Yato: I'm thinking way too much this morning...

I just drink the rest of my coffee and head off to the shower to start preparing myself to go to school. 

15 minutes later

I just finished dressing up in the school uniform and was currently putting on my shoes. I take my school bag and exit my room. I lock my door and take a look at my left to see if Kiyo was about to go to school too but it doesn't seem so... so I just start walking towards the elevator to go down to the first floor.

While I exited the elevator on the first floor I noticed that there was nearly no one... I start to wonder why but I quickly got the answer. Today was the mid-term exam... so probably the majority of the student went to school earlier to study a bit before the exam or some students were sleeping as much as they could because there studied late last night...

I just keep walking until I was out of the dorm of the first year... I continued walking towards the school until I noticed someone in front of me that I recognized.

I planned to just ignore this person and continue my way to the school in silence but I just think about something... So I start increasing my walking speed to catch up with this person in front of me.

I was now walking next to her and when she finally noticed me...

???: UWAAA!!!....

It seems that I had surprised her... her reaction was quite funny...

Yato: Yo little girl senpai!

She stop walking so I did the same and she seemed really annoyed...

Tachibana: Tachibana! TA-CHI-BA-NA! 

I just have my fooling expression and answer her...

Yato: Ta....chiiii... Argh sorry I can't

Tachibana: You are areally a troublesome Kouhai!

She then starts walking towards the school... I start walking next to her at her pace...

Yato: So your job with the student council is over now?

She was a bit surprised by my question...

Tachibana: Hmm yes, Nagumo-kun become the new President and all the third year who was in the student council are no longer part of it. We slowly start preparing for our graduation...

Yato: Oh I see...

We then continue to walk in silence until I decide to ask her something.

Yato: Hey can I ask you for some advice little... Tachibana-senpai?

Still walking she start looking at me a bit intrigued

Tachibana: Uwa? You finally understand that you need to show respect to your senpai huh? Go ahead ask your question... if I can help a Kouhai.

I didn't look at her... I was just looking in front of me and finally spoke what I had in mind.

Yato: Have you some advice to give me for the student council?

Tachibana: Huh? What do you mean by that Fukazawa-kun?

She didn't understand my words...

Yato: Well I accepted the offer of Nagumo-senpai yesterday... So I will become the next vice-president as he told me!

She immediately stops walking... I wait a bit before turning myself to look at her. When I did I noticed how shocked she was to hear that. She was just looking at me with a warry gaze...

Tachibana: W-What? W-What did you just say?

Yato: Hm? Well, that I'm the next vice-president! Nagumo-senpai told me that I have the potential to follow his steps and become the president of the student council after him!

I just have a naive smile on my face when I said that... Her eyes were wide open, she was really shocked and nervous like I expected. 

She wasn't answering me... she seems to be thinking about all this.

Yato: A problem senpai? 

Tachibana: I didn't hear that yesterday... Does Manabu-kun?...

She wasn't really speaking to me... she was more talking to herself...

Horikita Manabu huh?

Yato: Senpai I'm clueless? Does it have a problem with this news? Does Horikita-senpai have a problem with it?

She then look at me for a second... she didn't say anything she was probably thinking about what she should answer...

And finally, she was about to say something but...

???: Stop Tachibana...

Yato: Sighs... too late...

We both turn our heads to see the person who just spoke to Tachinaba...

Tachibana: H-Horikita-kun!

It was Horikita Manabu, the previous President of the student council and the big brother of Horikita Suzune my classmate. 

He then starts walking towards us with his usual serious expression. There was nearly no one around us so this was a chance for me.

Horikita-senpai: Tachibana don't fall for his trap... Fukazawa never joined the student council. 

Yato: Tsk...

What he said was true... I never meet Nagumo yesterday and of course, I never accept to join the student council. Like if I will become the vice-president... becoming a little dog under the order of his master...

I then start looking at Tachibana and saw that she was angry...She walks closer to me and starts looking at me with some angry eyes...

Tachibana: You seriously try to trick me?!

Yato: Hahahaha sorry it was just a joke little girl senpai!

Tachibana: Ahhh?! And me who thought you become a good Kouhai...seriously stop calling me like that!! I'm older than you!

She then continue to tell me how much I should respect my senpai and all but my attention was on the man behind her. She noticed it and stop talking to probably let Horikita handle the conversation...

Horikita-senpai: I may have underestimated you Fukazawa...

Tachibana seems surprised by what Horikita just said...

Yato: Ohh now that you talk about it...You may be right...

He just keeps looking at me with his usual expression... provocation wasn't working on him.

Horikita-senpai: For the question, you asked earlier to Tachibana... I think you already know a part of the answer.

He was talking about the question I asked earlier... '' Does Horikita-senpai have a problem with it?''... I decided to talk with Tachibana to try if I could get the real answer on why I wasn't someone for the student council. But with his answer right now it seems that my doubts were right... it is all bout his relationship with Nagumo. But there are still some parts unclear to me...

I then start looking around... there were not many people but with someone as known as Horikita Manabu... our discussion will attract too much attention.

Yato: Arg... Finally, I should come to talk with you sooner as you offer me during this summer break...

The first time I met him, he told me that I wasn't a good candidate for the student council but still offer to come to his office to take a tea...

I then turn around and was about to leave but I tell him a last thing...

Yato: I don't think a meritocracy is necessarily a bad thing... but for you, it doesn't seem the case right? 

I just turn a bit my head to look directly in the eye of Horikita Manabu...

Yato: Let me go straight to the point... I personally don't care about the situation of the student council... To be honest my priority right now is your sister...

Said like that it maybe sounds a bit weird but anyway... Sudo wasn't there anyway...

Horikita-senpai: Suzune huh?

There was his relationship with his sister too that was unclear... Hoirkita Manabu seems like a guy strict but even more with his sister.

Horikita-senpai: So I must understand that you have zero interest in the future of the student council then?

I turn around and start walking to the school... before being too far I just add something...

Yato: Yes... but you can't be sure that I haven't lied to you I guess...

Time skip end of the day

Yato Pov: 

Chabashira: I will now take your copies...

Then Chabashira-sensei take all the mid-term exams of our class and left the class after that. 

Those mid-term were quite easy... like the first one at the start of the year. But with the penalty of the sports festival, it will be maybe a bit complicated... anyway, we would have the answer tomorrow if someone fails...

Then Sudo start walking towards me but it was to go talk to Horikita next to me...

Sudo: Thanks to you Suzune! With your help, I'm confident about my result...

Horikita: You worked well Sudo-kun but you should continue to be better!

It seems that Horikita was still helping the trio of idiots of the class...

Having no interest in staying here I just get up from my seat and leave the classroom. There wasn't any reaction in the class about those mid-term so I guess that everyone was confident about their scores... after all, if you fail here you're out. Getting expelled in this way must be pretty lame...

This time Hirata didn't ask me for help for his study group like at the start of the year... he probably thought that I would refuse this time. In fact those mid-term was less of a problem for us... the class was more unit and we got a few good results at the desert island and the VIP exam... so the situation was less desperate at the start of the year.

???: Fukazawa-kun!

When I was walking towards the dormitory, someone call my name...I knew who it was by her voice...

I stop walking and turn around to look at the person who just called my name... she was still walking towards me...

Yato: Can I help you with something Horikita?

Her expression was not like usual... she seems worried about something, it was obvious the reason why...

Horikita: I didn't have the time to have a real talk with you since the end of the sports festival...

Yato: Maybe but I already send you a message...

Horikita: I know! But I wanted to apologize to you directly...and wanted to know if everything was okay.

When Kushida knew that I lied to her about the fact that I knew about her and Horikita, she tried to threaten me... again... but it didn't work. But all this happen because Horikita didn't what to talk with me about her situation with Kushida and she ended up making understood to Kushdia that I was lying... of course, she didn't do it on purpose but still, she was probably feeling bad about this. 

But she didn't know about my conversation with Kushdia later that night after the sports festival... in fact, I could have told to Horikita that I was in danger sooner before the festival and maybe she would help me even if she really didn't want to talk about Kushdia to me but I decided to not force her... I wanted to see if Kushida will try something against me and finally... she choose the war against me while I offer to forget all that happened between us. Now Kushida is determined to expel me and Horikita. 

Yato: Hahaha Horikita stop that... you wouldn't underestimate me right now?

Horikita: It's just that because of me...

Yato: Horikita...

She stop talking and was looking at me...

Yato: I already said that there is no need to worry about... your mistake didn't change anything. I was prepared for this eventuality...

She then lowers her gaze and looked a the ground

Hoprikita: You planned that I will make a mistake then huh?

Yato: Maybe... but let me answer you with another question Horikita...

She then starts to look at me again with a look uncertain

Yato: From now... does the Horikita Suzune in front of me will made mistake as she could have done in the past?

Her eyes widen when I said that... after a few seconds, she take her usual expression...

Horikita: No! I understand my past mistake and I'm ready to become the leader of our class! 

I just smile by seeing the new Horikita Suzune... There were still a few things that I wanted to talk about with her but I was not in the mood right now and there were too many people around.

Yato: That's great to hear! But You know Horikita, for our common problem we have...

I was talking about Kushida and Hoirkita immediately understood that...

Yato: There is no need to worry for me... I'm perfectly able to manage on my own. 

I was about to leave and I say a last thing...

Yato: Since the start of the year I think you progressed on yourself and now you have a better vision of yourself, right?

She didn't answer me but she just make a little nod

Yato: Great! Don't forget what I said to you Horikita... I'm curious to see what you will be able to achieve!

With those words, I leave her and start walking to my room. Since the sports festival ended, aside from the mid-term, it was quite calm. Probably because of the election of the new President of the council... but knowing this school there will probably have something soon...

That's it for this chapter, I hope you liked it! Sorry, I release it quite late but I was really busy this week. I needed to make the last check-up for Volume 6 before starting working it so that is why I just release it today.

Oh and by the way do some of you already read to trial for the Vol 6 of Y2? I read the Monologue of ??? (Don't want to spoil for the people who don't want to know haha) and I'm personally Hype for this Volume. I cannot wait for this Volume to come out!
