Chapter 25

Harley

She woke up in a cage in Belle Reve, remembering her dream from the night before, a fun-filled day-long class trip with her wonderful, sexy professor, Mr.J. She was hanging upside down, the only way she could sleep. Slowly languidly, she unfolded and lowered herself to the ground.

Her cage was in a cell block Harley had all to herself. It wasn't that she could wander it's spacious nooks and crannies, she remained locked up in her own cramped little space. But she wouldn't be bothered by the other nutcases they sealed away in this maximum-security crazy house. Harley preferred the quite. So she could listen to the voices in her head.

It had been a week since batman had locked her up in this personalized prison cage, and the Joker still hadn't come to rescue her. Harley started keeping count of the days on her left leg with prison style tattoos done with a stick and poke method she had learned about from her days at Arkham.  Among the tally marks were self done tattoos, some of which read "Harley + Puddin" or messy Harley quin diamonds.

Last Update:

Hey everyone, I know it has been a long time since I have updated almost a year to be exact.. This was my last saved draft on the story. The truth is I just lost interest in writing and this story and really had no idea where to take it after this point in the timeline. I have never had any previous experience writing and never considered it one of my skills, I actually never got good grades in English class or anything associated with writing, so when my story started picking up popularity I was very surprised.  I came on the website after almost a year and was surprised to see 87k views and 2.6k notifications. The truth is when I ran out of inspiration for the story I felt like I couldn't face all of my fans who were waiting for my next update so I just never came back, and life kinda took over.

The good news is my book has come to a end, at this point in the story is where the movie story line starts and where I felt it was unnecessary to continue with my book just retelling the movie. So if you want to know the rest of the story Suicide Squad tells it petty good.

I hope you can all understand and forgive me for putting this off so long. Thank you again for this wonderful experience and I hope you enjoyed my take on Joker and Harley's twisted but strangely beautiful love story.
