Chapter 13

We got ready to go to Santa Monica. I looked at my phone it was only noon. Should we go to the beach and  hang for almost two hours then pick up Grace, or wait for her?

"Taylor Grace get out of school in about three hours. Do you want to wait for her to get out and take her, or go and then picker her up and go back?" I asked.

"Let's go and then we can come back and picker her up." Taylor answered.

   "That's fine." I said smiling.

"Should we pack any foods or drinks?" I asked.

"Nah. I can but some." Taylor said.

"Taylor I can't let you do that." I answered.

Taylor shrugged his shoulders not caring. I grabbed my purse and took Taylor's hand. We walked out to his car. Before we left Taylor put the roof of his Corvette down. We were off in a matter of minutes to the beach. Taylor and I were cruising down the interstate with the wind blowing in our faces. I smiled and kissed Taylor's cheek. He took my hand with the other on the steering wheel. We passed some fans on the road.

Our fans are our lives. They are the ones who made us who we are. Without our fans we would be nowhere. We wish we could spend all of our time meeting our fans, but we don't want to cause an accident. I hope our fans understand that we love every single one of them. If you get to hang out with us or just take a picture with us we hope that we make the few seconds that you are with us the best few moments of your life. Seeing and meeting our fans makes us very happy.

We finally pulled into the beach parking area around 12:50 pm. Taylor walked me to the beach. We sat on the sand for a little bit. Taylor kissed me. We walked onto the pier. First, we walked all the way down the pier. We walked hand in hand. Taylor was swinging our arms. We had to stop a couple of times to chat and take pictures with our fans. We made it to the end of pier. We stopped at the edge of the pier. Taylor waked to the edge and I stayed a good distance from the edge. I am terribly afraid of heights. Taylor turned around and motioned me towards him. I stayed put. He walked over to me.

   "What's the matter?" Taylor asked.

"I am scared of heights." I answered.

"I am here. Anyways if this was anywhere near falling they wouln't let us on it." Taylor reassured me.

He took my hand and guided us to the edge. I looked over the edge. It was a long way down and we are over the ocean. I turned around and hugged Taylor in fear. He laughed at me. I playfully hit him. He smiled and hugged me tight.

"Can we do something or get away from the edge?" I asked.

"Sure. Want to ride a coaster or the Ferris wheel?" Taylor asked.

"Yeah that sounds fun. Let's ride the Ferris wheel." I answered.

We walked back in the direction of the Ferris wheel. We stood in line for about five minutes. We made it to the entrance of the cart of the wheel. We got in our cart/seat. I decided to have Taylor right next to me so I wouldn't freak out. As soon as the wheel started moving Taylor took my hand. I rested my head on Taylor's shoulder.

I really hope we aren't rushing things. We just got back together a few weeks ago. It's not like we don't know each other we have dated previously. I just had to regain my trust in Taylor. I had really strong feelings for him even when we weren't dating. I feel like my feelings and love for Taylor are stronger than ever. He is good father to Grace and he treats us like princesses. I just don't want to rush things and go overboard and make our relationship worse because I pushed things past the limit.

Taylor and I talked about a few things on the Ferris wheel. We talked about our futures and how they could be changed here soon. We talked about our goals. We talked about Grace. We had a nice chat.

Our ride finally came to an end. Our bucket was stopped by the carny. Taylor let me out first. He followed behind me. He ran up beside me and grabbed my hand. I smiled and held his hand. We walked back to the car.

We got into the car. I called Grace's school and told them that Taylor and I would be picking Grace up. I laid my seat back and took a little nap. Taylor decided to scare me. He slammed on the breaks and screamed. I woke up startled. I gave Taylor a little glare.

"It was funny though." Taylor laughed.

"It scared the hell out of me." I said frowning.

We made it to the school as soon as school was released. Taylor and I walked into the school. We stood in the hallway and waited for Grace. Grace came running out with some of her friends. She ran up to Taylor and hugged him tight. She was too excited that Taylor was picking her up. Taylor was holding Grace. I leaned over to Grace I puckered my lips and asked for a kiss. Grace turned away. I just let them bond.

"Grace do you have everything? Can we go?" Taylor asked.

   "Yep. Let's go." Grace smiled.

We walked out to the car. Taylor got Grace into the car. We got in and we made our way to the beach.

"Grace do you want to go to the beach?" I asked.

   "YEAH!" Grace said happily.

"Well, that is where we are going." I smiled.

   "YAY!" Grace yelled.

I looked at Taylor and smiled. He grabbed my hand. I leaned over and kissed his cheek.

"Mommy why do you kiss daddy?" Grace asked.

   I looked at Taylor.

"Because we love each other." Taylor answers.

"Do you love me?" Grace asked.

"Grace why would you ask that? We love you more than anything else." I answered.

   "Just making sure." Grace smiled.

"You are silly." Taylor looked back at her.

Taylor pulled into the parking are  once again. Taylor and I got out of the car. I got out Grace. She smiled happy to be at the beach. I pulled out her sunnies. She put them on and ran to Taylor. Taylor picked her up. I walked over to my little family.

"Tay she can't be held all of the time. She is five." I said.

   "I know." Taylor answered.

Taylor sat Grace back down. All three of us walked hand in hand to the beach. Taylor and I sat in the sand while Grace played in the water and in the sand. Taylor was holding my hand when we heard a little screech. Taylor looked up and saw that Grace was unhappy because her sand castle was washed away from the tide. Taylor walked over to her and comforted her. Grace decided that she was done playing. We decided to go back to the pier.

We walked back to the pier. Grace was very excited. She smiled at all the people and the fun that they were having. We decided to to Pacific Park. First, we went on the Ferris wheel. While we stood in line we chatted with some fans. They talked to Grace and gave us some things. Grace was very good with the fans and attention.

We finally got in our seats on the Ferris wheel. At first we all sat on one side.

"Ma'am you have to sit on the other side." The carny said.

I moved to the other side of the bucket. Taylor was holding Grace. The ride started. Grace wanted to see everything. She tried to wiggle out of Taylor's hold.

"Taylor hold onto her." I said fearful.

   "I am." Taylor said annoyed.

"Just let her know who's boss." I said.

Taylor looked up to me and smiled "like you to me?"

   "Taylor Michael." I said embarrassed.

"Grace sit still." Taylor said sternly.

Grace sat still. She actually listens to him. Taylor held onto her lightly. She sat right beside him happily looking at everything in sight.

She pointed at the ocean "Look the sea!"

"No Duck that is the ocean." Taylor said.

   "Patlantic?" Grace said confused.

"No. It is called the Pacific." Taylor answered.

   "Pacific." Grace smiled.

"Grace you are so smart." I smiled.

The ride came to an end. Grace was sad because it was over. She really liked the views and she thought it was fun. We got off of the ride. Taylor had to pull her off the ride.

"Grace want to be an acrobat?" I asked.

   "What's that?" She piped up.

"Lets go see." I said taking her hand.

She got off of the ride and we went to the trapeze school. Grace was just big enough to go. Taylor got dressed up to go with Grace. She was ecstatic to do this. They walked on  rope about five feet above a foam pit. Grace had a huge smile on. I took pictures of Taylor catching her. Taylor convinced me to go up with him while Grace learned and played with the instructor. Taylor held my hand on the way up. We got to the top. The instructor hooked our harnesses to the cords and ropes. We were about one hundred feet above the ground. There was a net that was about six feet under us to catch our fall. Taylor made me go first. He was right me hind me holding my hands. A little over halfway done and I lost my balance. I fell with Taylor right behind me. We hit the net.

"See you fall and I fall with you. I just love you that much." Taylor said kissing my cheek.

"I love you." I said back.

"Let's go lovebirds." The instructor pulled us out.

We finished our "lessons." We left Pacific Park. We walked to the end of the pier. Taylor picked up Grace and showed her the water. She was excited the whole time. We walked back to the beach right before sunset. We sat on the beach and watched the sunset. It was a beautiful day and night. I loved being with my family. Taylor kissed me.
