Chaeyoung was reading everything that she asked Woojin to send on her iPad. All the articles about Kim Corp.'s sales, list of businesses, and others. She learned that many investors  already pulled out their shares in the company. Some of the hotels they own are also gradually closing because nowadays, people prefer booking an Air BnB instead of staying in hotels. Most of their hotels are also old. Mountain hiking and beach getaways have become more popular than private resorts.

While reading, Chaeyoung thought of what she could do to help. If she ever accepts his daddy's offer to work in their company he wants to help his girlfriend. But how?

Park Industries is known for its malls, condominiums, and subdivisions. Lately they are venturing into modern technologies like home and office appliances. Their agriculture business has also started, Park Industries is now one of the major suppliers of rice, strawberries, watermelon, and grapes throughout Korea. Chaeyoung also plans to add clothing and cosmetics lines, in case she agrees to her dad's offer of a position in their company.

What if she offers to turn the closed hotels into condominiums? Turn their resorts into recreational and interactive resorts? After all, people are more into extreme sports now, they can put ATV, Zip lines, rappelling, wall and mountain climbing, and exteme water sports in some of their resorts. Start planting native fruits and vegetables in their vast lands in the province.

She's a little proud of what she thought, it would be a waste that she graduated from business administration and marketing if she has nothing to offer her girlfriend.

But Chaeyoung has a problem. She found out that their fathers were enemies. Not only their fathers, it started with their Grandfathers. So in short, their relationship is kinda Romeo and Juliet-ish. Among the many possible enemies, it's her girlfriend's family. They were fighting over some land. The Kims won but it doesn't seem worth it because their businesses are currently failing. Her Grandfather must have had a big smile on his grave right now.

After a while she heard the door open. She immediately turned off the iPad and hid it in the drawer. Jennie doesn't open drawers in the kitchen so she was sure her girlfriend wouldn't see it.

"Hi!" She greeted.

"How's my baby love?" Jennie asked. She's already wearing something different, not the CEO-like suit she's wearing earlier. Now, she looks like a normal employee.

"I'm good" Chaeyoung answered. "How's work?" She added.

"Tiring" Jennie said hugging her girlfriend.

"Oh no bra?" Jennie said when she noticed that her girlfriend was wearing only a t-shirt and no underwear.

Chaeyoung hit her hand that was already inside her clothes. "That's for dessert, perv" She said glaring at her girlfriend.

"Then let's have dessert first" Jennie still hasn't removed her hand from inside Chaeyoung's t-shirt.

"Later or no dessert" Chaeyoung said firmly.

"Ugh" grumbled Jennie. She pouted and leaned against the fridge.

"Can you change first? Then rest in the living room. I'll call you when dinner's ready" Chaeyoung said.

"Alright then," Jennie said lazily. She went to the bedroom, sh changed her clothes and then went straight to the living room and turned on the TV. When she reached for the remote she saw a familiar magazine on the center table.

A business magazine. Jennie was nervous so she took it and opened it. And she suspected correctly. She is the one in the feature article of the said magazine. She immediately stood up and went to the kitchen, holding the magazine and is going to show it to Chaeyoung.

"You're done? Oh..." Chaeyoung said when she saw what her girlfriend looked like and what she was holding.

"Where did you get this?" Jennie asked.

"In the lobby" Chaeyoung answered.

"In the lobby?" Jennie asked.

"Kim Corp. Building. I went there earlier. I was about to surprise you but I was the one who was surprised" Chaeyoung said. She finished transferring their dinner to the dish plate. And brought it to the table.

"Wh-what part of it surprised you?" Jennie asked. She already has an idea what it was but she wants to hear it from Chaeyoung.

"That you are going to marry the daughter of the Ims, to save your crumbling company" Chaeyoung said. She looked at Jennie as she placed the dish on the table.

"Rosie... I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I just... I just don't want you to stay because of what I have. There have been a lot of them, and I don't want it to happen again. Rosie... I love you. I don't want to lose you. It's true, our company is about to collapse. Marrying her might be my company's only hope" Jennie said, crying.

"What happened to your "I'd rather die with my company than to get married to you" speech?" Chaeyoung teased. She walked over to Jennie and wiped her tears.

"I don't care if you're an heir or not. I love you. The Jennie Kim that I met in the café the first day of senior year in college. The Jennie Kim who spilled coffee on my shirt and kept gawking at my boobies instead of helping me" Chaeyoung laughed and kissed Jennie on the lips.

"Baby love" Jennie said crying, she hugged Chaeyoung and buried her head in her girlfriend's chest.

"Believe me when I say, I'll help you with your company. And I know you'll succeed" Chaeyoung said.

"How?" Jennie asked like a child.

"Secret. but first, we have to break up" Chaeyoung said.

"WHAT???" Jennie shouted.

*****

"Why do we need to break up?" Jennie asked. They just finished dessert. Chaeyoung was hugging her, only a blanket covering their bodies.

"For dramatic purposes" Chaeyoung answered.

"Why do you sound like a spoiled brat? And I told you to stop watching those dramas" Jennie said.

"That's  the only hobby I have" Chaeyoung frowned. The truth is that she really wanted to be an actress but because of her family's name, she was forced to be a slave to their business. Well, not so much. She did hide for 3 years, avoiding her responsibility as a Park. But because of her girlfriend, Jennie, she's starting to feel guilty of running away.

"Baby love? I have a question" Chaeyoung began. "What if we're like Romeo and Juliet?" She continued when she heard Jennie hummed.

"Like we're going to have a tragic ending? That one of us dies and the other one will kill themselves too?" Jennie asked. She was combing her girlfriend's blonde hair with her hand.

"No. I mean, like what if our families hated each other for decades already, and we aren't aware of it" Chaeyoung said.

"Huh? Why?" Jennie suddenly asked. She couldn't imagine why their families would be enemies. Is it because they have different states of life? Or maybe her beloved girlfriend is also an heir?

Impossible.

"Never mind. Up for round four?" Chaeyoung said looking up and meeting Jennie's eyes.

"You don't need to ask" said Jennie who was still excited.

"But this time, I'll ride" Chaeyoung said as she pushed her girlfriend and went up to her.

"Oooh damn sexy, I like it"
