Jin ♡ Vampire

Here's a picture (below) I edited myself. It's a fansite photo. All I did was add red contacts to the picture and blend it a little using PicsArt lololol anyway enjoy the visual

This imagine is nearly 7,000 words. Enjoy.

I was out on a walk around town, in need of some fresh air. It was a perfect day out. Thick, light gray clouds covering the sky as far as the eye could see. It's such a beautiful overcast day, and thanks to the clouds, the temperature was perfect too. The streets weren't too busy this time of day which I was thankful for. I wouldn't be enjoying my walk as much if the streets were bustling with people.

I glanced across the street, my eyes landing on a strangely dressed man. He wore a long, black tailcoat with white flowery designs going up the front of it. Underneath was a white dress shirt with a ruffled collar and sleeves. He had on a pair of sunglasses and held a black umbrella in his hand. I furrowed my brows at his peculiar attire, now fully focused on this stranger.
I assume he's probably some goth guy who likes to dress in Victorian clothes. It's unusual and rare, but I've heard of people doing that. It's an aesthetic.
The poshly dressed man strides across the street, seemingly floating across the asphalt, not paying attention to the car speeding down the road. The car screeched to a stop in front of him, the driver sitting down on his horn, yelling profanities.

"Are you crazy? Do you not see the light is green?!" The man shouts angrily.
"You need to calm your metal beast." The Victorian man yells back.
"What? Is there something wrong with you?"

I can see the situation is escalating quickly. I don't know what got into me, but I ran over to the strange man, grabbing his arm.

"C'mon let's go." I urge him.
"You know this lunatic?" The man in the car asked.
"Yes." I answer.
"I don't know you." He says to me.
"There you go, pretending like you don't know me." I laugh awkwardly as the man in the car watches, an uncomfortable look on his face.
"Let's go and get out of the road, hm?"

I manage to pull the guy off the road and get him onto the sidewalk.

"Unhand me!" The man says, jerking his hand away. "Who are you anyway?"
"I'm sorry. I saw you were in trouble and wanted to help. I didn't want anything bad to happen." I apologize profusely, trying to explain why I helped.
"You think I cannot deal with these problems myself?" He asked.
"N-No. Not at all."
"While I appreciate your help, I did not need it."
"Alright. Sorry for bothering you. Have a nice day." I quickly excuse myself, seeing that my presence and help was unwanted.
I walk past the man to continue my way down the street when he calls out to me.
"Pardon me."
I stop and turn to him.
"You did help me, I suppose. My apologizes for being so brute. The gentlemanly thing to do would be doing something kind in return. Perhaps I could treat you to a coffee?" He asked.
I was caught off guard by his sudden change of heart. Nevertheless, I won't pass up the chance to get a free coffee.
"Sure." I nod.
"Splendid!" The man smiled, clasping his hands together gleefully. "Which coffee shop do you like to frequent?"
"It doesn't matter much to me." I shrug.
"Very well. I will choose then."
He took a step forward, only to stop and spin around towards me.
"Forgive me. I haven't introduced myself yet." He stated, taking a small bow before extending his hand. "I'm Seokjin."
"Nice to meet you. I'm Y/n." I grab his hand, flinching at how cold it is. I watch as he brings the back of my hand up to his lips, placing a small kiss to it. Even his lips are cold.
"It's a pleasure Miss Y/n."
"J-Just Y/n is fine." I stutter foolishly.
"Shall we?" He asked, gesturing ahead of us.
I nod, swallowing hard, trying to keep my composure.

We both walk in silence until we get to to the coffee shop. Seokjin asks what I'd like to order. I told him I could order myself, but he insisted on placing the order for me.
"You're not getting anything?" I asked, noticing how he only placed my order.
"I don't like coffee." He answered immediately.
"What about tea?"
"Not my thing."
I decide to not ask any more questions.
Instead of staying inside, we decided to get my drink to-go. I took a sip of it, letting out a small, "Mmm."
"Is it good?" Seokjin asked.
I nod.
"Hey. If you don't mind me asking, why do you carry that umbrella around?" I ask.
"The sun burns me." He answered simply.
"It's overcast today though. There's no sun out."
"I am very sensitive to any kind of sunlight. It does not matter if it's overcast."
"Carrying an umbrella is a bit overboard don't you think?" I asked.
"Not unless I want to burst into flames." He answered straightforwardly, pushing his sunglasses further up his nose.
I let out a small, short chuckle. "Okay then."
"Why are you laughing?" He asked. "It's not humorous. It is quite painful."
"Painful? What are you, a vampire?"
"Yes." He answers, his tone serious.
"Yeah okay." I snort.

I'm pretty sure this guy is one of those people who likes to dress up like a vampire. I've seen people like that on the internet before, but never in real life. I try not think much of it. Who am I to judge someone's interests?

"You do not trust me?" He questions. "I'll have you know, this is no joke. I am quite serious."
"Hey, look, you have your ways of living and I have mine. If you want to go around pretending to be a vampire, that's fine. I won't judge."
"Does this look fake to you?" He asked, pulling his sunglasses down his nose, his brown eyes flashing red.
I gaped at him, my mouth hanging open.
Now I know it's not fake. No one can make their eyes do that. Well, no human anyway.
"So, your fangs are-"
"Real? Yes."
"Holy crap." I mutter in disbelief. "That explains why you talk and dress like a fancy Victorian person."
"Is there something wrong with my attire?"
"Well... no. It's nice, but it's outdated."
"Outdated?! I'll have you know I keep my clothing in mint condition. In no way is this outdated."
"So you're probably really old right?" I ask, changing the subject, as there's a million unanswered questions swirling in my mind.
He lets out an offended gasp at my inquiry.
"How disrespectful. I'm quite young actually." He huffed.
"Oh of course. How rude of me." I mutter sarcastically. "You don't look a day over 150."
"Thank you." He lifts his head proudly and brushes back his bangs.
"I can't believe I've met an actual vampire!"
"Keep your voice down." He hissed.
"Sorry. Not sure why you wanna keep it a secret, though. You make it very obvious."
"How so?" He questioned.
"Um, hello? Your fangs, your clothes, the way you speak."
"My eyes are normal." He pointed out.
"That doesn't matter. Can you not hide your fangs or something like they do on tv?"
"I cannot. Also what is a tv?"
I shake my head, pinching the bridge of my nose. "A tv is one of those flat things with moving pictures."
"Ah! Yes. The picture boxes."
"Yeah sure. That thing." I wave my hand.
We continue our walk down the street, a short silence between us, until I speak up.
"I think you need me." I stated. "Someone is gonna have to teach you about the current times."
"Me? Need you?" He scoffed, bursting out in hysterical laughter. "You're quite humorous."
"I'm serious. How do you expect to go through life not knowing a thing about the time you're living in."
"I'm a vampire. I don't need to know about what time I'm living in."
"I beg to differ. You'll look like an idiot if you go prancing around not knowing what things are. People will think you're crazy."
Seokjin pursed his lips as he gazed off into the distance in deep thought.
"Alright fine." He finally spoke. "You may teach me about the current times, if you truly believe it will benefit me in some way."
"Awesome! Okay so first, we're gonna need a way to keep in touch. I'm assuming you don't have a phone."
"Ah. Those chunky machines with the numbers?"
"They're not like that anymore. They look like this now." I pull my cell phone from my pocket.
"Oh. Yes. I've seen a lot of humans talking into these things." He said reaching for my phone. I handed it to him, letting him observe it.
The screen lit up, revealing the time and my wallpaper. He jumped, letting out a small scream and tossed the phone back fo me.
"Hey, careful! This thing was expensive." I huff. "There's no need to freak out. Look, it's a touch screen." I showed him the lock screen and opened up the home screen, scrolling through my apps.
"What a strange piece of machinery." He muttered.
"It's not machinery, it's technology and judging by your reaction, I can tell you don't own one of these."
"Of course not. What use do I have for something like that?"
"I highly recommend you getting a phone. It's a perfect way for you to stay in touch with people while you're far away from them. You can even talk with someone all the way across the world."
"I have only written letters." He stated.
"Calling or texting people is instantaneous. You don't have to wait days or weeks for a response. It's great."
"I don't really need one of these phones, however, I will consider it."

At the end of the day, we just agreed to meet by the coffee shop the next day around 7:00. Seokjin said it was a good time because it's right before the sun goes down and he won't have to bring his umbrella with him. We could have easily exchanged addresses, but let's be honest, we just met and I don't want to give my address out to a stranger. So, I met him by the coffee shop the next day, as we had agreed on previously.
He was dressed in his posh, Victorian attire, but this time he only wore a ruffled dress shirt. The pants he wore were high waisted and had a thick gray band around the top. He didn't have his umbrella and sunglasses with him since the sun was going down. He was still dressed strangely, but today it was much more casual.

I don't know what these pants are called but that's what I mean ^

Since he didn't have his sunglasses on, I was able to really get a good look at his face, taking in his handsome features. Large brown eyes, thick, sharp brows and full pink lips. I'm not sure why I never paid much attention to his features yesterday, probably because I was too busy looking at his weird outfit and silently freaking out that he's a vampire.

"You look nice." I comment.
"I always look nice." He quipped.
I sigh at his response.
"So, Y/n, I was thinking that tonight we could take a stroll in the park by the ocean. How does that sound?" Seokjin asked.
"That sounds nice." I nod.
"Very well, let's go then."
We started towards the park, walking side by side in silence.
"So, do you live in a big, old mansion?" I ask.
"It's big, but it's not at all old. I take good care of my home." He huffed.
"Do you sleep in a coffin?"
He let out a scoff. "You humans and your stereotypes."
"Well? Do you?"
"I haven't slept in a coffin in decades." He stated.
"Why not?"
"Beds are much more ideal."
"So, you sleep during the day?" I question.
"Most of the time. I don't always have to sleep though."
"Hm. Do you drink from humans?"
"Yes."
"What about me? You haven't tried to attack me or anything."
"Y/n." He chuckled. "I'm 200 years old. I have had centuries to learn control."
"Right. I should've known that." I shake my head. "Wait. You're 200 years old?"
"Yes. But I don't look a day over 150, right?" He winked. "That is what you said, anyway."
"Right." I laugh nervously.

He sure is confident.

"Anyway." I clear my throat before speaking. "I'm surprised you're answering my questions."
"Why? I'm not uncomfortable answering them. I am simply telling the truth." He shrugged. "Ah. Here we are." He announced as we approached the park.
"Seokjin?" I ask.
"Yes?"
"Can I call you Jin? If you'd prefer to be called Seokjin, that's fine. Jin just sounds more... casual to me."
"Hm. No one has called me that before." He places his finger on his chin.
"So, no?"
"I suppose Jin is fine. It's nickname, right?"
"Yes." I nod.
"Ah. I have never had a nickname before." A small smile spread across his lips after he said that, his sharp canines making a brief appearance. "I like it."
"Alright. Jin it is."
"I noticed you do not seem frightened by me. Is that true?"
"Yep. I'm not really afraid of you. You seem pretty chill."
"Chill." He repeated. "I am cold, if that is what you are referring to."
"No." I chuckle. "Chill means laid back or calm."
"Ah. I suppose I am chill then. Your speech is very strange." He adds.
"Yours is too proper." I shoot back.
"I like talking like this." He pouted.
"Yeah but people don't like that. Not anymore anyway."
"Alright, what do you suppose I do about it?"
"Learn the lingo." I shrug.
"I feel that this is going to be difficult." He sighed.
"Not really." I state. "For example, that thing you called a "metal beast" yesterday is called a car or vehicle. Whichever you prefer. People use them to go from place to place."
"I see."
"There can be two or more seats in a car. The person sitting in the front behind the wheel is the driver, they drove the car, and the person in the passenger's seat is the passenger. They ride or help the driver with directions."
"That is quite interesting."
"I don't understand how you have no idea what most things are. How could you not see all the new advancements in technology and such? Did you ever leave your house?" I ask.
"I spent the majority of my life hiding. Vampires used to be hunted and so I had to live in secret, fearing for my life. I would sneak out every few weeks to feed, nothing more."
"Woah. So, you haven't gotten to see how things have progressed throughout the years huh?"
"Not very much, no. So forgive me if I do not know the names of your new technologies and such."
"Hey, it's okay." I nudge him gently. "That's why you have me."

Over the next few weeks, Jin and I made it a regular thing to meet up. We talked about anything and everything. Hobbies, childhood stories, our favorite music. Of course, his was some sort of classical type music while mine was modern. I even showed him a few of the songs I was enjoying lately. He seemed to like them, which made me happy.
I invited Jin to my place to watch tv which he'd never done.

The two of us are sitting on the couch watching tv. He doesn't seem too impressed by what's currently on, so I decide to change the channel.
I reach for the remote, knocking it off the coffee table. Due to the dim lighting in the living room, I couldn't really see where it fell.
"Darn it." I mutter, grabbing my phone and turning the flashlight on to look for the fallen remote.
"Ah!" Jin shrieks, shielding his face.
I immediately start laughing, so hard in fact, that I fell off the couch. "Are you kidding me?" I ask in between laughs.
"Put that away! It burns!" He hissed.
"Jin it's just a flashlight. It won't hurt you."
"What?" He asked, dropping his hands.
"Look." I shine the light on the back of his hand.
"Huh." He muttered. "Very well."
I shake my head and continue my hunt for the remote, finding it just under the edge of the couch.
"Do you even like what's on tv?"
"Not really. It's very unrealistic."
"It's supposed to be. It's a television show."
"I am not fond of it." He remarks.
"What about cartoons?" I ask.
"Cartoons?"
"Animated stuff. No real actors or anything. It's all done through animation and voice actors."
"Alright then." He leaned back against the couch, grabbing a pillow to hold it against his chest.
I flip the channel to Spongebob. Everyone loves Spongebob.
Jin watched the screen, furrowing his brows.
"Spongebob Squarepants." He muttered.
"Yeah! It's a really good tv show. It's about a sea sponge and his everyday life."
"Hm." Jin hummed, staring at the screen.

Minutes later he was laughing loudly, absolutely enthralled by the show.
"I quite like this sea sponge show."
"I told you! It's a good show."

I don't know how long we sat on the couch together watching Spongebob. A few hours at least. Jin absolutely loved it. His smile was so heartwarming, even with his fangs on display. I noticed Jin glance at the clock.
"Ah. It's 10:30. I should go home and let you retire for the night." He announced while standing up.
"You sure? I don't mind you staying longer. It's still pretty early." I asked, following him.
"It's quite alright. Thank you though."
"Alright. Well, thanks for coming over."
"I enjoyed my time here. Thank you for inviting me." He bowed slightly.
"Hey. Do you want to hang out again tomorrow?" I asked, walking him to the door.
"Of course."
"Do you think you could come over here earlier in the day? Maybe like 5:00?"
"I think I can manage that."
"Perfect! I'll see you tomorrow."
"You as well. Sweet dreams Y/n." He gave me a short, swift kiss to my forehead before walking out.
I stood at my front door, my eyes wide and my face burning.
"Perhaps I should kiss you more often. Your heart is racing." He chuckled from down the hallway.
I clamped my hand over my mouth in shock, the temperature of my cheeks rising.

Seokjin you're one smooth talker.

***

"Hello." Jin greeted me as he stood at my doorstep the next day. His shoulders were back, the curve of the umbrella handle resting on his forearm as he removed his sunglasses.
"Hi." I managed to speak.
I haven't been able to stop thinking about that kiss last night. It was most likely platonic, but it left my heart racing and my mind in a haze.
"What will we be doing today?"
"I need to take you shopping for a new wardrobe." I answer.
"And why would we do that?"
"You need new clothes." I stated.
"And what is so bad about the clothes I have now? I've had these for almost as long as I've been alive, there's nothing wrong with them."
"You literally justified why we need to get you new clothes."
He narrowed his eyes at me.
"You need something comfortable."
"These are comfortable."
"They don't look it. You need something like a hoodie."
"Oh. You mean those things you wear that you call clothes?"
"What about those things you call clothes? You have more ruffles than a girl in a tutu." I retort.
Jin scoffed. "How rude."
"Okay. You do look very good in your ruffley, fancy clothes, but you need something more modern." I suggest. "You should start dressing more like the time you're living in."
Jin let out a long sigh, running his fingers through his hair.
"I won't force you to get new clothes if you don't want to. I just thought it would be a good way to help you transition more into the current times."
"Fine then. Have it your way." He spoke up.
"You don't have to agree to this if you don't want to do it."
"Y/n, I want to. It's okay."
"Okay. Then we've got some shopping to do!"

I brought Jin to my car which he was skeptical about at first. It wasn't even sunny out, but he was worried that he wouldn't be shielded properly. To be honest, I didn't know if my car would protect him. He didn't seem uncomfortable though, so I guess the tinted windows on my car worked well. When I told Jin to buckle up, he questioned it.

"What is this?" He asked.
"A seat buckle."
"Why must I buckle up, as you say?"
"Cars can be dangerous. What if we get in a wreck with someone? You'll go flying out the windshield."
"I cannot die."
"Well I can. Buckle up."
"Why?"
"Jin, it's the law. You have to."
"Very well then." He huffed, pulling the buckle across his chest and clicking it in place.
"Alright. Are we ready to go?"
"I suppose."
"Okay then." I back out of the driveway and start heading towards the mall.

"You can change the station if you want."
"Station?"
"The radio station. You can turn this dial here and change to a different station if there's a song playing that you don't like."
"Ah." Jin leaned forward, reaching out to turn the dial.
"What was that music we listened to together? You showed me some sort of music. I liked it very much."
"Oh. I think that's on station..." I told him which station I thought would be the correct one.
He turned the dial, a more upbeat song playing through the car speakers.
"I like this car of yours. It's quite nice. Seems convenient."
"It is. You get places much faster."
"Eh." He shrugged. "I could run faster than this car. However, riding in a car seems more enjoyable and leisurely than running."
"Hold on. You can run fast?"
"Yes." He answers.
"How fast?"
"I don't know." He shrugged his broad shoulders. "Faster than you're driving."
"Can you show me sometime?"
"I suppose I could."
"Yes!"

We soon arrived at the mall. Jin stared out the window, marveling at the huge building that stretched across the parking lot.

"This is the mall?" He asked.
"Yes. It's a bunch of stores and restaurants in one huge building."
"Wow." I whispered. "I am excited about shopping, all of a sudden."
"You should be! It's addicting to some people." I chuckle, pulling into an empty parking spot. "I parked as close as I could. Will you be okay walking from here to the door without your umbrella?"
"If we make haste, I believe I'll be fine."
"Okay then. Let's get going."

The two of us went speed walking across the parking lot to the entrance of the mall. I looked over to make sure Jin was alright. He pulled off his sunglasses and looked at me.
"You okay?"
He looked like he was thinking about his answer before he spoke up. "Yes."
"Good. Where do you want to go first?" I asked. "There's Forever 21, Hot Topic, American Eagle, Urban Outfitters." I began listing store names.
"I do not know what any of those places are."
"How about we just walk through the mall, and if you see somewhere you wanna go. We'll go." I suggest.
"I like that idea better." He nodded.

We walked for a little while, I noticed Jin glancing at the storefronts as we passed them by.

"Oh." He spoke up, stopping in his tracks. "That one." He pointed to a store around the corner.
"Nice choice." I pull him towards the store, my heart leaping with excitement.
As soon as he steps onto the tile floor of the establishment, he's awestruck. I can see his eyes excitedly looking around at all the clothes on the walls and racks.
"You go look at whatever you want. I'll go over here."
He nodded and walked off in the opposite direction. I went to a nearby rack and started skimming the clothes. I'd like to see Jin in a hoodie or a sweater. I think it would fit him nicely. I grabbed a soft looking brown hoodie that had a similar texture like that of a teddy bear. I smiled just imagining Jin wearing it. After spotting the hoodie, I found an oversized sweater and a pink hoodie that I thought he would like as well.

"Y/n!"
I jumped upon hearing my name being called. Spinning around, I was met with an excited looking Jin with an armful of clothes.
"This place is incredible. Look at all of these." He held up the many shirts and pants that were piled over his arm. "What do you have?"
"Oh. I... thought these would look good on you." I admitted.
"Hm." He tilted his head, looking at the clothes.
"You can try them on in the dressing room back there." I point.
"I shall do that." He smiled, taking the three shirts from my arms and walking to the dressing room.
I followed behind him, taking a seat on the couch right outside. I tapped my foot on the floor, waiting patiently for Jin to finish in the dressing room.
"Well, hello." I heard his voice from behind the dressing room door.
"Jin? Who are you talking to?"
There's no one else in the dressing rooms.
"Myself."
"What? Wait. How can you see-"
"Prepare yourself Y/n. Ready yourself, for you are unprepared for what your eyes about to see."
"Oh man." I sigh.
The door swings open and out walks Jin, decked out in a dark red silk shirt tucked into a pair of black slacks. The shirt appears to have been left unbuttoned at the top, showing off Jin's prominent collarbones.
I could almost feel the drool pooling in my mouth at the sight of him.
"What is your opinion on my garments?" Jin asked.
"R-really good." I stutter.
"Ah." He chuckled. "I see you are bewitched by my good looks. That's quite alright. Do not be ashamed."
"Uh-"
"I was quite surprised to discover that I could see my reflection. Perhaps mirrors have changed. I have only ever seen myself in paintings. I still look just handsome as I was all those years ago." He winked, stroking his chin.

He is... absolutely shameless.

I open my mouth to speak, but quickly close it when Jin speaks up.
"I will go try on more." He excuses himself and retests back to his dressing room.
I breathe out a sigh, dropping my head against the back of the couch, letting myself sink into the cushions.
He's absolutely beautiful.
I thought he was handsome from day one, but having spent so much time with him has made me become more attracted to him.
"Y/n!" Jin calls my name before strutting out, showing off a new outfit. This time he wore the brown hoodie I picked out for him and a pair of black sweatpants.
"These trousers are quite comfortable." He commented.
"They're called sweatpants." I informed him.
"This... what is it? Hoodie! It is also very comfortable. I quite like it." He felt the fabric, looking down at the huge hoodie.
"You do?" I asked in disbelief.
"Yes. You have impeccable taste."
I bit my lip to keep myself from smiling.

Jin ended up purchasing almost every article of clothing he tried on. I offered to pay since I'm the one who took him shopping in the first place, but he insisted he pay. He made some comment about being rich and honestly, I believed him.

I let out a small yawn as I drive down the interstate heading home. We spent a few hours in the mall and Jin made it out with a lot of new clothes. He seemed to genuinely like everything he purchased.
"I'm very excited about my new clothes." He commented. "Thank you very much for persuading me to go with you."
"You're welcome. I'm just glad you liked the clothes."
"I take back the comment I made about your hoodies." Jin spoke up. "I quite like hoodies. I can see why you're so fond of them."
"See? I told you they're comfy."
"Yes. Very...comfy." He repeated the word, a small smile on his face. "Oh. Would you mind taking me to my house? I would like to put my new clothes away." He spoke up.
"Of course not. I can drop you off at your place. Just tell me which way to go."
"Thank you. I appreciate it."

Jin directed me towards his house, which wasn't too far from town, though I had to drive a short distance to actually get to his home. It was well hidden, shrouded in thick trees. I come to a stop in front of the dark towering mansion. Though it definitely looks like something from a vampire movie, it's... nice. The house is obviously very well taken care of.

"Would you... like to come inside?" Jin asked quietly.
"I don't want to intrude."
"No worries. It's quite alright. In fact, I would like it if you would accompany me inside."
"Oh. Alright then." I put the car in park and step out, following Jin to the two massive, mahogany double doors.
Jin pulls an old looking key from his pocket and opens the door, a small creak emitting from the hinges. He allows me to walk in first, closing the door behind me.
"Welcome." He gestures to the vast living room decked out in vintage furniture that looks like it hasn't aged a day. A huge painting hangs over the mantle. It depicts a man, a woman, and two boys. One of them I recognize as Jin, the other I'm assuming is his brother. He looks to be older than Jin.
"That's my family." Jin says, noticing me staring at the painting.
"Your mother is very beautiful."
"She is." He nodded.
"I don't mean to pry, but what happened?"
"Oh, they moved away. My parents are very wealthy and own a large business. My brother moved with them to help with the company. I stayed behind and they let me keep the house."
"Ah." I nod, looking at the fancy dress Jin's mother wore in the painting. "You know, I've always kind of wanted to try on a fancy Victorian style dress. It seems fun."
"Why don't you?" Jin asked.
"I don't know where to find something like that."
"Follow me."
I follow him up the staircase that splits off in two directions. He goes left and I trail behind. He brings me to to a room in his house that appears to be a spare bedroom. Striding over to the wardrobe, he pulls out a red and cream color dress. It's absolutely beautiful.
"My mother left a few of her dresses here. She said she had no use for them and wanted me to pass them on to my lover." Jin commented aloud as he looked at the dress.
"Your lover?"
"Yes."
"What happened to her?"
"Nothing. She doesn't exist."
"Oh."

O H.

He's never had a lover.

"Here." Jin holds the dress out to me.
"What?"
"You may try it on."
"Are you sure? It seems like only someone special should wear your mother's clothes."
He gives me a small smile. "It's fine."
I can't help but blush slightly, shyly taking them dress from him.
"I must go put these away. You may stay in here and put on the dress."
"Thank you."
He gives me a small nod before leaving the room, closing the door behind him.
I take in a deep breath, looking at the beautifully designed red dress in my hands. The small intricate red designs are a stunning contrast to the cream color on the chest area and skirt. The sleeves on the dress stopped at the elbows from that point on, there was flowing white fabric that flared out into decorative bell sleeves.
I changed out of the clothes I was wearing and into the stunning finery. It did cross my mind that his mother and I might not be the same size, but the dress seemed to fit pretty well. I looked down at the fancy garment, lifting it up a little to see my scuffed up tennis shoes, a big contrast to the formal I was wearing. It made me chuckle.

I walked towards the door, stepping out of the room and glancing down the hallway. I didn't see Jin. He said he was going to put away his clothes. I'm assuming he meant he would put them away in his room. I don't know where his room is. Maybe he's finished already.

I make my way down the stairs heading towards the living room. I stop when I see Jin standing in front of the fireplace, looking thoughtfully at the family portrait on the wall. His head turns to look at me, standing on the steps, nervously clutching the dark wooden handrail.

"Y/n." Jin gaped, walking towards me. "You look absolutely breathtaking."
I slowly made my way down the rest of the stairs, stopping at the bottom to meet him. His hand slowly reached out, cold fingertips delicately trailing down my arm to my hand. He carefully laced our fingers together, beckoning me to the middle of the huge living room. He carefully took my other hand and began to dance.

"You know, my family and I use to have parties here. We had an annual ball for my parents and their rich business partners and aristocrat friends. It was quite nice."
"I can definitely imagine a big party being held here." I comment.
"Yes. We had the best get-togethers. I miss it sometimes."
"What do you usually do around here?" I ask.
"Read, clean, have some wine on occasion. I even sing on occasion."
"You sing?" I asked.
He nodded.
"Could you sing something for me?" I asked.
"Of course."

He began singing softly to me, not breaking eye contact.
Slow dancing with him like this, both of us all dressed up, it really made me feel like I was at a ball. I could almost picture people dressed to the nines slow dancing around us, a big orchestra playing, filling the room with music, the chandelier above us all lit up. I unconsciously leaned forward, resting my head on Jin's shoulder, closing my eyes as I listened to his heavenly voice.
He finished singing the song, the room going quiet. I pulled back, looking up at Jin.

"Y/n."
"Yes?"
"Forgive me if I am being too forward, but you are the most beautiful person I have ever seen. Even when you aren't dressed like this. Though we both have different ways of speaking and living, I am still very fond of you, Y/n. You have helped me immensely over the past few weeks and I am grateful." He said. "I'm aware I still have a lot to learn, however, I am prepared for it. I would be so happy if you would stay by my side."
His heartfelt confession left me dumbfounded and absolutely speechless.
"I'll stay by your side as long as you need me to."
"Ah. Good." He nodded, a small smile on his face. "I do have one request."
"What is it?"
"That you become my partner."
"Partner?" I question, my heart rate increasing. "Like... your lover?"
He nodded.
"Yes! Absolutely!" I break out in a huge smile. Jin returns the smile and wraps me in a tight hug. We both pull away momentarily, looking at each other.
Jin brought one of his hands up to cup my cheek, his thumb gently caressing my cheekbone. He leaned in, softly pressing his full lips to mine. My eyelids fluttered closed as my hands moved to rest on his broad shoulders. His arms tightened around my waist, pulling me closer. He tilted his head to the side, moving his lips more forcefully against mine, the passion in the kiss intensifying. I could feel the point of his fangs gently scraping against my lips as we kissed, but I didn't mind it.
We parted ways, both of us looking bashful. Jin started giggling a little.
"What?" I ask softly.
"I am just very happy right now. That's all." He said, brushing my hair behind my ear.
"Me too."
"Now, which one of the outfits I purchased should I wear first?"

Bonus scene: Jin buys a cell phone
"I was thinking about what you said... about purchasing a phone. I believe I will do that.
"Wait. Really?"
He nodded.
"Alright Jin!" I nudge him. "Let's go get one right now."

I drove to the nearest cellphone carrier store, excited about Jin finally deciding to get a cell phone. It'll be so much fun to text him.

Jin looks very lost and confused when we step inside the store. I pull him over to the iPhone section.
"Alright. There's a few different models of iPhones. Which one do you want?"
Jin stares at the phones in front of him. I can't help but admire how nice he looks today. He's put on some of the new clothes he purchased recently. A black turtleneck and dark gray dress pants. His hair is pushed to the side showing off his thick, sharp brows and forehead.

He's all mine. That's my boyfriend.
My boyfriend. My boyfriend. That has a nice ring to it.

It's only been three days, but it still hasn't quite sunk in yet. I get giddy every time I think about the way he confessed to me.

Jin, my boyfriend. My boyfriend, Jin. My vampire boyfriend Jin.

I don't realize I'm smiling until Jin speaks up.

"Did you hear me?"
"Huh?" I blink a few times, returning to reality.
"Y/n? Are you alright?"
"Huh? O-oh! Y-yeah I'm fine. What did you say?"
"Do I have to get a certain one?" He asked, referring to the phones.
"No. You probably want the newest model though."
"And what is the newest model?"
"This one." I point. "It's like $700 though."
"No problem. My family is very wealthy, remember?"
"But you don't have a credit card."
"Not a problem." He shrugged.
My eyes widened.

Oh. He's RICH rich.

"Which color do you want?"
"Hm. Black." He nodded.
"You can buy a case for it too." I point out. "It'll help protect the phone. It also doubles as a decoration sort of. You can always buy one later if you want. The cases they sell here look kinda plain. Maybe we could look online."
"Online? You mean the internet?"
"Yes. See? You remembered what the internet is. You're learning."
"You can purchase things online?"
"Yeah, but you need a credit card."
"I see. Perhaps I should get one of those."
"They're very convenient."

"Is there anything I can help you folks with today?" An employee from the store asks politely.
"Yes. We're here to buy a phone."
"Excellent. Which one would you like?"
"We were looking at this one." Jin points.
"Wonderful choice. Will you be buying two today?" He asked.
"No. Just one." I speak up.

The employee goes to the back and returns with a brand new black iPhone. Jin pays for it and the employee helps us get it set up. Jin seems a little confused, but manages to understand everything.
I take Jin back to my house since I have WiFi. That way he can start downloading apps and whatnot.

"What do you think?" I asked, cuddling close to him on the couch.
"It is very nice."
"Sleek, right?"
"Very." He unlocked the phone, looking at the home screen.
"You can change the lock and home screen if you want. You can set it as whatever you like."
"I can?"
"Yes! Oh, you know those apps I told you about?"
"Mhm." He nodded.
"You can download some if you want. You could get Instagram. It's a social media app where you can post pictures."
"Pictures?"
"Yeah. You can take pictures on your phone. Let me show you." I took the phone from his hand and opened up the camera. The two of us showing up on the screen.
"Huh. I wasn't sure if you'd be able to see yourself in a camera." I mutter.
"Hello there handsome!" He grinned, pushing his hair back, looking at himself through the camera.
"Jin please." I laughed.
"I am just joking sweetheart." He chuckled. "Let is do one of those pictures."
"Okay."
I hold the phone out, making sure to get both of us in the frame.
"Smile!"
I snapped the photo, immediately going to look at it. A smile creeping onto my lips as I hand the phone back to Jin. He smiled at the photo.
"I would like to set this as my screen." He spoke softly.
"You do?"
He nodded.
I couldn't help but feel giddy about it. I helped teach him how to set his home screen, asking if he wanted the picture to be set as both the home and lock screen. He said home screen, then suggested we take a different photo for the lock screen.

One thing I learned was that Jin loved taking photos. I can't imagine how he'll react when I tell him you can record videos.

I hope you all enjoyed the bonus scene! I wanted to add it in the imagine but couldn't find a good place to put it, so I decided to make it a bonus at the end!
I got soft writing this. Clueless 200 year old vampire Jin learning about technology and getting excited about taking pictures is so endearing to me (⁎⁍̴̆Ɛ⁍̴̆⁎)

Here's extra pictures of Jin looking like a rich vampire
