Myles' POV

   A guy comes up to Briar and tells her he has a preposition for her? What on earth is happening. We go with him inside the house and go in the hang out room. We sit down and as Brittany and Trevor catch a glimpse of us they come in as well and sit down next to Briar, I think the man didn't like it but we're Briar's friends and anything he has to tell her he can say it to us!

Briar's POV

   This man just comes up to me and now we're all just sitting there waiting for him to speak. "Briar, I'm one of the talent scouts that came to watch you guys at the end of summer party, I instantly fell in love with your dancing, in the duet with Myles over here you showed so much emotion and your solo was full of power" He said. "Thank you" I replied with a smile. "Okay so here's the thing, we've been thinking and we want to offer you a scholarship  to come to London with me and start learning at the London school of Performing Arts, you will even get the chance to be the professional dancer you want to be, you can take part in musicals, ballets and you can even star in music videos of the latest songs" The man says.

   I'm shocked, he asked me to leave all of my friends here and go to London with him, I looked at my friends and they all weren't happy about it, As I looked at Myles he shook his head and went out of the room, I couldn't leave them. "Excuse me but our principal told us that the people you choose would come to your schools after we graduate from here" Brittany said. "Yes that's right, but my colleagues and I were speaking and we decided to give a full scholarship to Briar since she was just so talented and we couldn't miss out on the opportunity to come with us to London. Listen Briar I'm going to give you my card, I'm going to give you until tomorrow to think about it and then I want you to give me a call and tell me your answer." He said. What was I going to do?

Myles' POV

   I couldn't believe Briar was going to leave, everything was finally going like we wanted it to and now this happens? I can't bare to lose the best thing that has ever happend to me, I love her how am I going to let her go? I couldn't stand listening to that man telling Briar she could leave to London, I ran out of the room right after Briar looked at me with her sad face, I didn't want her to leave.

Briar's POV

   After the man left I went looking for Myles, whenever he was upset and needed to think he always went at the park and sat behind a tree so I went outside looking for him. "Myles are you here?" I yell. "I'm over here" Myles says from behind a tree. "Myles why did you run out like that?" I asked as I sat beside him. "I'm so sorry Briar I just couldn't listen to that man telling you that he was going to take you away from us, away from me. I love you Briar, I don't want to leave you." He said. I didn't know what to do "I don;t want to leave you either" I said as he put his arm around me. 

   The next day the principal gathered everyone around, he told them about my scholarship and he asked me to tell everyone what I was going to do. I looked at Myles, he had a really sad face on, I couldn't leave no matter how much I wanted to, I don't want to make Myles suffer. "OMD, you're leaving? That's the best news I've ever heard" I heard Tess call out. I took a deep breath and thought about it for a second. "Actually Tess, I decided....I decided not to go" I said. I saw Myles face rise up smiling, I smiled at him but inside I felt kind of sad because a part of me wanted to go, But I couldn't leave this place. 

Myles' POV

   Yes! Briar's not leaving. "Are you sure Briar?" The principal asked her with a confused face. "I'm sure" she said with a smile, she seemed really happy with her decision I'm glad she was going to stay. 

Briar's POV

   After school that day I just layed in bed thinking, it was time for dinner but I didn't feel like eating anything. "Bri what's wrong, you've been laying there for a really long time" Brittany said as she sat down besides me. "Britt the only reason I said that I wasn't going was because I don;t want to leave Myles, but it's my career, I don;t know what to do I still have to call and give my answer. Britt I don;t want Myles to suffer" I said. "Bri, just do what your heart tells you to do" she said. That made me even more confused, for not even my heart knew what to do, it was like split in to two parts. I'm really bad at making decisions. Before Brittany went downstairs to dinner she told me she would bring me something to eat since I hadn't eaten anything that day, I didn't feel like eating but I still nodded my head in approval. What was I going to do?

Myles' POV

   I was so happy Briar isn't leaving, I was scared she'd want to leave me but looks like she didn't. That day at dinner she didn't come down so I asked Brittany what was going on. "She's just upset" Brittany replied. "About what?" I asked. "You don't get it do you?" She asked "Get what?" "Myles the only reason Briar said that she wasn't going was because of you, she didn't want to break you heart again. She wanted to go but there were many things holding her back" Brittany replied sternly. Was I really that selfish to forbid Briar from going after her dreams? No, I loved her and I couldn't do that to her.

   After dinner I texted Briar to meet me at the park. After a long while of waiting she finally showed up. "Briar, why didn't you say that you were going to London?" I asked. "Myles there are many things keeping me here I don't want to leave everyone, this is the best decision for me" she lied, I knew that deep down she wanted to go. I didn't want to do what I was about to do but I knew that if I loved her I had to let her go. 

  "Briar, I say that you should leave, it's better here without you I want you to go" I said. "Myles what are you saying?" She asked with a broken tone, I was really upset that I was hurting her but I had no choice. "Briar I don't love you anymore, I think you should just leave, it would be better for everyone" I said as I tried to keep myself from breaking down in to tears. "Myles you're such a jerk!" She cried. "The only reason I was staying here was because of you and you come and say these things to me?" she said with tears falling down her eyes like a waterfall. It broke my heart to see her like that. "That's too bad because I no longer feel for you what I did, why don't you make everyone a favor and just leave? No one likes you here except for Brittany and Trevor" I said, right before I left her stranded there on her own, I couldn't stay there any longer, my eyes had already started to sting and as soon as I left I just burst out crying, some people say men don't cry but I love Briar...I couldn't help it.

Briar's POV

   I can't believe Myles said that to me, he is such a jerk I was staying here for him and he just breaks up with me like that, without caring about anybody's feelings! How could he do this to me after everything we went through? With tears strolling down my cheeks I grab the talent scout's card out of my pocket and call him. "Hi, it's Briar Nolet, I've made a decision and it's a yes, I'll go to London with you" I guess if Myles wants to get rid of me so badly, I hope this makes him happy.

Myles' POV

   I listen from behind a tree just as Briar calls the talent scout, Ii guess this is it I lost her forever but this was her dream and I couldn't be selfish, Wherever you go, no matter how far we are apart, know that I will always love you Briar, I'll never forget about you and I wish you do the same.
