Esther was bouncing on her seat. She was both nervous and excited. This month's outreach had fallen on her cell in church and with majority of them in the same school they'd chosen to do it in their school.

All the necessary authorities were consulted, prefects included. And now they were given one moral instruction day to hold their outreach.

Esther had been nominated by the teens pastor to preach that day.

She'd filled in for rhapsody reading one if the services and that had sealed her fate.

Someone else had done the opening prayers, bible reading and now the praise segment she would have loved even volunteered for someone else was doing it.

Soon enough a slower pace was set to the singing, indicating that her time was now.

'Precious holy spirit guide me, be in my mouth that they may hear you, be in my words that you may reach them at their points of need. Be in my coordination that they may see you. In Jesus name'.

A loud amen was echoed followed by a round of applause from no other than her classmates and a few seniors.

'Alright, let's get to it. Today I'll be sharing with you on the message titled it's your authority too. Operate In The Authority And Character Of Jesus.

It's a mouthful I know', she chuckled earning a few laughs.

'Our first scripture is from 1 John 4:17 which says,“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.”

The Lord Jesus has all authority in heaven and earth. He said in Matthew 28:18-19,'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

By that statement, He gave His authority to us, the Church. Everything that exists in this world and beyond is subject to His Name.

The Name of Jesus means much more than an identity; it refers to His authority and His character. Being born again, you were born into Christ; you inherited His Name; therefore, you have His authority and His character.

You function in His place. Understand this: when you talk, move or act, it’s literally Jesus talking, moving, and acting! All of heaven, hell, nature, living, and non-living things, respond to you as they would to Jesus! What a blessed reality!

You have heaven’s respect; you can go anywhere and be heard; you can pray to God Almighty, and He’d answer, all because of Jesus. In His Name, you have authority over devils; you can speak with new tongues, take up serpents, if you drink any deadly thing, you’ll not be hurt, and you can lay hands on the sick, and they’ll recover. Blessed be God!

No demon, sickness or trouble can stand against that Name! In His Name, you’re more than a conqueror, a champion forever; eternally fruitful and productive. Use that Name today. Hallelujah!',

The response from the students was overwhelming.

'Lets look at another scripture Matthew 28:18-19 and I read, 'And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost'.

Let's say this prayer: Dear Father, I thank you for the power you’ve granted me in the Name of Jesus. In His Name, I live triumphantly, over and above circumstances, and the perils of this world. I live in perpetual peace, prosperity, health, success and greatness. Hallelujah!.

Bow your head wherever you are and talk to God, thank Him for His words to us today and thank Him for this reality brought to us'.

After the prayers, someone else made a few announcements which included an invite to a teens program their church was hosting.

Back at the class she was welcomed with cheers!

'Omoooo, baby oku! You just de serve am back to back! I no sabi say you de preach o! Nwa!',

Many related comments but she smiled and said thank God. Moral instructions in their school always came with moods, she was just glad that theirs wasn't boring and very thankful that she was able to deliver the message given to her to share.

The copies of teevo they brought ended up not being enough, and thankfully they started with the ss3 class. So it was just ss1's that needed more copies.

She'd get more today after school then share to her classmates tomorrow.

A very fulfilling way to start her morning indeed.

'Babe, see me see this Snr Samson o. That's how he has been texting me that he wants to talk to me. It's now today he's saying after school', Shola grumbled from her seat next to Esther.

'You de plan answer am?',

'Why not? I nur de for mumu punishment o!,

'Okay na, I go follow you just Incase. But you de follow me go church go pack teevo o!',

'Can't you just be helpful without wanting anything in return?', she said while dramatically placing a hand on her chest.

Esther laughed,'That's rich coming from you!'.

Let's go to church 🥳🥳
