Percy's Pov

It was Christmas eve and I wanted to do something special for Thalia. We've been dating for five years and I think it's time. "Morning Percy" Thalia said rubbing her eyes. "Goodmorning baby, did you sleep well?" I asked her. "I sure did," she said giving me a quick kiss. "so what's the plan today?" "well Jason and Piper are throwing another Christmas party this year" she explained. "Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that," I said rubbing the back of my neck sheepishly.  Thaila just rolled her eyes at my forgetfulness. "you always forget" It was partially true well may be completely true but what can I say. I'm a seaweed brain."So what time are we heading over there?" I asked her. "does 4:30 sound good?" "perfect". 4:30 rolled around pretty quickly and we were soon getting ready to head over. I was clutching the small box in my hand waiting for Thalia to finish up. "Ready?" she asked coming out of the bedroom. "yeah I'm ready," I said getting off of the couch. we grabbed our coats and left to go to Jason's house. 

We walked up to their front door and knocked. the door opened revealing Piper. "You guys finally made it!" she said giving us a hug. "come in come in," She said letting us in.  It seemed like everyone from the seven was here including Nico and Reyna. "Hey Perce, come here for a sec" Jason called out from the kitchen. I walked over to him and he pulled me to the side. "so are you doing it today?" he asked me. "yep, I'm going to be doing it later" I gave him a rundown on how I'm going to be doing the surprise for Thaila. "She's totally going to say yes" "I hope so," I said kinda nervously. "don't worry, she will," he said trying to reassure me. "How have you been Percy?" Nico said walking up to me. " I've been doing alright, how's will?" I asked him, "Will's upset that he was called into work today" "I bet, I'd hate to spend Christmas at work," "Yeah I would too" we talked for a while before Piper called us all over for dinner. We all ate laughing together as one big family.

Thalia and I went outside to get some fresh air shortly after. "it's a nice night isn't it?" Thalia said looking at the stars. "It really is," I said wrapping my arm around her waist. I grabbed both of Thalia's hands. "Thalia you have no idea how much you mean to me. You make me so happy. All the memories we've shared have been the best in my entire life" Thalia looked shocked. "what are you trying to say?" she asked. I got down on one knee and pulled out the small box. I opened it causing Thalia to gasp. "Thalia Grace, Will you marry me?" I asked her. "Oh my god, yes," she said throwing her arms around me "yes I'll marry you" we pulled away slightly so she could put the ring on her finger. "do you like it?" I asked worried that she wouldn't like the ring. "I love it, it's perfect" she kissed me before we both decided to go back inside. "guess what just happened!?" Thalia said alerting everyone. Thalia raised her hand up showing everyone the ring. the girls screamed and ran over to Thalia while everyone else came over to me. "So you guy's are finally tying the knot?" Leo asked. "Yeah, I thought I was time" I watched Thalia as she showed everyone her ring. she noticed me looking at her so she smiled at me and mouthed "I love you".
