Charlotte's POV

"Luke what are you doing?" I asked, waving my hand in front of Luke's face to break his spacey stare.

"Oh nothing," Luke shrugged.

"Don't lie to me," I narrowed my eyes at him. "You were looking at something."

"I wasn't looking at anything," Luke defended. "I was just thinking."

"About what?" I asked.

"Stuff."

"What stuff? You're driving me nuts here."

"If I told you, you wouldn't understand."

"Try me."

"Fine, I was thinking about you."

"Luke-"

"See, I knew you wouldn't understand." He shook his head sadly and left the room.

"Hey Char, what's wrong with Luke?" Michael asked, walking into the room right after Luke left.

"I don't know," I sighed. "He left because he thought I would get mad at him for saying he was thinking about me."

"He said what?" Michael gasped, sitting down next to me on the couch.

"I'm such an idiot," I groaned. "I missed my chance."

"You should go talk to him," Michael said.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Positive," Michael nodded. "Now go."

I walked into the bus lounge where Ashton, Calum and Luke were. I gave Ashton and look and he immediately stood up to leave while bringing Calum with him.

"Hi Luke," I smiled, sitting down next to him on the couch.

"Hey," Luke muttered, not looking up from his phone.

"So about early," I began.

"Yeah, look Char, I'm really sorry about that," Luke apologized. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, it's just that I've been getting these feelings around you."

"Luke, are you trying to tell me that you have a crush on me?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Yes...I mean no....maybe?" Luke said. "Which one do you prefer?"

"Yes," I grinned.

"Wait," Luke's eyes widened. "You like me that way?"

"For a while now," I sighed.

"Really?" Luke gaped.

"Yeah," I nodded.

"Oh thank god," Luke breathed out.

"It feels good to get that out in the open," I said.

"So will you uh go on a um date with me?" Luke stuttered.

"Of course Luke," I grinned.

"Great! How does after the concert tomorrow sound?" Luke asked.

"It sounds great," I smiled.

"Perfect!" Luke said standing up. "I'll see you in the morning Char." He kissed my cheek and got into his bunk.

I got up and went back to the back room. "Congrats Char!" Calum cheered, enveloping me in a hug.

"What?" I asked.

"We sort of maybe were spying on you and Luke," Ashton smirked.

"Guys!" I blushed. "There's a reason why I kicked you out."

"Sorry Char we couldn't help it," Michael apologized.

"Whatever," I shrugged. "Just don't follow us on our date."

"We won't," Calum laughed.

"Good," I smiled. "Now get out, I'm tired and I want to sleep."

"Okay okay," Ashton chuckled. "Goodnight Char." The boys all hugged me and said goodnight before leaving the back room so I could sleep.

I smoothed out my white mini skirt and put on my black vans to match my black and yellow 'Bob Dylan' shirt.

"Char, you look amazing!" Michael gushed, pulling me into a bone-crushing hug.

"Thanks Michael," I blushed grabbing my purse.

"Luke told me to tell you, that he's waiting outside for you by the car," Michael said.

"Okay," I nodded. "I'll see you when we're back, bye Mikey." I hugged Michael one more time before I left the bus and found Luke waiting in the parking lot for me.

"Hi," Luke grinned at me. "Y-you look beautiful."

"Thank you," I smiled back. "You look great too." Luke grinned even wider and opened the car door for me. I got in and he got into the drivers' seat.

"So where are we going?" I asked as Luke drove down the street.

"To the beach," Luke replied.

"Luke, it's like 8 o'clock and you're taking me to the beach?" I asked.

"Yeah, don't worry it'll be fun," Luke assured me.

"So what are we doing her exactly?" I asked when Luke pulled into the parking lot of the beach.

"We're having a picnic," Luke said taking a picnic basket out of the trunk of his car.

I laughed and followed Luke down to the beach. He spread out the picnic blanket he brought and sat down.

"So tell me Char," Luke said, sitting down on the blanket. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

Okay, sorry I'm having some writer's block, but in other news, the end to this fanfic will probably be the next chapter.
