Chapter 2-Photoshoot

~Scarlette's POV~

My alarm blasted out of my iPhone 7 Plus at 4:30am. I sleepily stuck my hand out towards my pink nightstand to grab my phone and shut the loud alarm off. Ugh I had only gotten 5 hours of sleep and I probably looked like shit. I was not ready to look at myself in the mirror. My manager Cindy was going to kill me if I didn't look my best.

I immediately got up and walked straight to the bathroom completely forgetting my friend slept over and was most likely passed out on the sofa. I brushed my teeth for a few minutes, then washed my face with cold water to wake me up. It felt refreshingly good and did a great job of waking me up. I was happy when I realized I didn't look as bad as I had imagined myself to be. I put on some chapstick and decided to wear a crop top with a pair of denim shorts. I didn't have to put any makeup on because the makeup artists were going to be at the shoot, as well as the VS bikinis I had to model in for Victoria's Secret bathing suit campaign.

I grabbed my small tan Gucci side bag, iPhone, and Mercedes car keys. Stepping into my living room I saw Jennifer still sound asleep so I left her a note on the table in front of her notifying her where I had gone and approximately when I'd be back.

Note:
I had a photo shoot at sunrise so I left the house around 5 am. I'll be back in a few hours. When you wake up text me what you want to eat for breakfast and I'll grab it on my way back. See you in a bit hun.

Love,
Scar.

Jennifer is my neighbor, which is super convenient. She lives in the penthouse next to mine and most of the time we are together. Either I'm at her place, or she's here at mine.

I left my house a few minutes late at 5:05 am. I opened the door and sat in my white Mercedes G-wagon and perfect, I had an empty tank of gas. As if 5 minutes wasn't already late enough now I had to stop to get gas. I stopped at the first gas station on my way and filled my tank just enough to get me from the shoot and back. I sped down the highway, trying to reach there fast so I got into less trouble than I would if super late since there was no traffic at 5 in the morning.

I reached the beach and pulled into the closest parking spot I could I find. I jumped out of the car and started to walk onto the sand. In the near distance, I saw a few of the girls jumping around having their pictures taken. Shit, I was late. I reached the area where they were shooting and I saw my manager Cindy, but she hadn't seen me so I rushed into hair and makeup. If anything I was going to tell her I was getting my makeup done the whole time.

I sat down and right away someone started on my makeup and another on my hair. Since we were going for a natural look, my makeup was done very quickly. He applied some CC cream all over my face for sheer coverage and a rosy nude lipstick to give my lips some natural color. He finished it off by lightly filling in my eyebrows and putting on a layer of mascara, to open up my eyes while still keeping it natural. My hair was blow dried and teased to look messy, but also flowy.

I was rushed out of hair and makeup and I was hoping not to run into Cindy. But you know my luck, I ran into her and she was upset. She yelled at me for being late since I was supposed to be the main Angel of the photo shoot. I apologized for being late and told her what had happened.

The photographer motioned for me to come over and then told me how to pose. Once I got into the mood, I started to do my own thing and he loved how the photographs were coming out. I kept tousling my hair and doing my own thing. After a few hours of being photographed, both solo and with the other models, the shoot was over. Before I left, the photographer showed me a few of the raw, uneditied photos and this was on of my favorites.

After the shoot, I said bye to everyone and headed to the car. I turned on the radio and started driving to my favorite breakfast spot to grab Jen and I some breakfast. On my way there, I called Jennifer since she hadn't texted me what she wanted for breakfast. Over the phone, she said "I don't want anything because I made breakfast here. Pancakes and bacon. Come fast I'm waiting for you."

"Okay. I'm almost home. See ya," I responded, then hung up the phone.

I finally arrived at my house and as I walked in I could smell the aroma of the breakfast. My stomach grumbles and I realized I hadn't eaten anything this morning since I was in such a hurry.

I ran to Jennifer and grabbed a plate and started digging into the food. It was yummy and I had been on such a strict diet lately so I hadn't been able to eat food like this.

"Dude you're the best," I complimented Jennifer in between bites of chocolate chip pancakes.

"I know," she laughed and did an over dramatic hair flip.

We finished eating breakfast and Jennifer headed home so I went and to take a nap in my room. I had been up since before 5 am and now it was almost noon.
