Julian Fawcett grumbled as he turned the keys in his car, balancing his hot cup of coffee in the other hand.

Gosh- What had he been thinking when he signed up for this- this- Fathering Group? Dad Club. Yes, that was it, Dad Club.

ugh- He had been drunk.

Had a pretty jolly chat with the Dad Club organiser- Pat, was it? Yeah, Pat Butcher. His coffee spilled on his arm, and a burning sensation overwhelmed his senses. 

"Owowowow- Shit-"

Julian blew frantically on the burn, cursing his idiot self for buying a coffee on the way to this place.

Ugh.

Robin Spencer jogged along the pavement, humming a nursery rhyme. It was a rare treat to get out of the house for 'me' time, these days. With the new baby and all that.

Robin smiled thinking of his daughter.

Robin growled grumpily as his phone went off in his pocket.

He had told that weirdo that he wasn't interested in-

"Love?"

He pressed his phone to his ear, listening for his wife.

"Hi!, yes so I was- WAHHHHHHAJAHhhahahHHAHAHWHWHAHHWHQhAA- Shush-darling, its okay- WAH- Ro, we need more nappies-"

Robin blinked. Already? He had got a new pack yesterday-

"Robin?"

"On my way, later! Say by to Cassie for me!"

Robin sighed, running an anxious hand through his unruly hair.

Guess he'd be late for that Fathering course.

Thomas tapped his fingers on the cafe table, bored.

He glanced at the clock, 9:07.

Gosh, why was he awake so early?

An alarm went off in his pocket.

Thomas groaned. Dad Club.

Better order a taxi.

Humphrey Bone hummed, leaning against the bus stop sign, flicking through images of his pregnant wife and son.

His first child, 4-year-old Laurence, was eager and quite hyperactive. He enjoyed reading and singing stories to himself when he couldn't sleep, which did become quite annoying after going straight for 3 hours.

His wife, Sophie, was pregnant with a girl they planned to name Rose.

He sighed, fiddling with his watch.

The bus was late.

He better walk.

Pat Butcher hummed happily, fiddling with his keys in his pocket.

This had gone surprisingly well- five members already! 

Pat ran through the names in his head.

Julian Fawcett- Isn't he the new MP who has been on the news lately?? Interesting.

Humphrey Bone-  The new kid's librarian at Daley's school. The young lad seemed nice. Shy, but overall a pretty cool guy.

Robin Spencer- Owns the bakery not too far away from here. Didn't know much about him.

Thomas Thorne- Pat had gone to school with him when he was younger. Centre of attention, was all he remembered.

James Higgins- Spoken briefly on the phone?? He was new to town-
