Miku's Secret

As usual, my day starts with me wakingup.

Then I start my morning workout, take a shower after training, have breakfast, and go to school.

But after I agreed to teach the five-year-olds, I had to change my schedule.

I can maintain this new pace long enough.

In fact, nothing has changed. I used to do my usual things after school, but now after school I work with the quintuplets.

Now my schedule looks like this:

At 5:30, wake up and start your morning workout.

At 7:00 end of the training session

From 7: 00 to 8: 00, I prepare my own breakfast, as well as lunch after school.

School starts at 8:30.

+[New]after-school fiver class

[A/N] - I do not know if this is similar to the Kiyopon schedule, but it will be like this for now

×××

I walk up to the school and see strange car pull up, which I haven't seen before.

This car was covered in black paint and it looked very attractive to the eye.

This car must be owned by a very rich man, probably worth more than 1 million yen.

After that, five people got out of the car.

It was obvious that the car belonged to their father.

"Ah, hello, Kiyotaka," Ichika said.

"Good morning, Ayanokouji-san," Yotsuba said.

"Girls, stop putting things off until tomorrow if you can do it today," I said.

Then they all started running away together. Well, here we go again...

"Take a good look, I don't have any school supplies in my hands," I said.

"You can't fool us," Nino said.

"You're hiding the reference book behind your back, aren't you?" said Ichika.

"We won't let our guard down because you're our teacher," Miku said.

Who do you take me for?

"We know we're not particularly smart. But we can solve our problem on our own, " Itsuki said.

"We can handle our studies on our own," Miku said.

"That's right, you don't have to worry about us," Nino said.

"If you say so, then you must have watched yesterday's test," I said.

"..."-the five girls are silent.

What is this silence? They didn't even look at their mistakes?

"Question one: Which general was defeated by Mori Motonari at the Battle of Itsuku Shima?" I asked.

After that, Itsuki turned in my direction and pouted. I thought she knew the answer.

After that, they all turn their backs on me and leave for school.

I look at Micah and a question pops into my head.

Miku, you know the answer to the first question, so why didn't you answer it?

×××

This question bothered me and I decided to ask Mika personally.

I stand behind Miku and wait for her to get something from the cafeteria.

In the dining room, she picked up a sandwich and a can of soda.

I think it's time to ask her a question.

"Miku, can I ask you something about this morning's question?" I said.

She was about to answer me, but Yotsuba's loud voice was heard in my ear.

"Ayanokoji! Do you want to have lunch together today?" Yotsuba exclaimed.

"Yotsuba, don't jump on people like that," I said.

"Ahaha, I'm sorry for ignoring you this morning," Yotsuba said.

"It's no big deal, either way Miku..."

"You should take a look at this! This is an English test!" interrupted Yotsuba.

"Miku, about that..."

"I didn't answer all the questions, Ah-ha-ha!" said Yotsuba.

What's there to be happy about? How does she continue to be so cheerful if she got 0 points on the test again?

After that, Ichika came over and took the Yotsuba with her.

"Sorry to interrupt the two of you," Ichika said

"Ichika, you should see this!" said Yotsuba.

"Let's forget about it already. We're still fools, right? " said Ichika.

«...»

"It would be boring to just go to high school. You should enjoy your school life. For example: falling in love with someone, " Ichika said.

Fall in love? Of course, I had such thoughts in my head when I entered this school.

"Ahhaha, however, even if I want to fall in love with someone, there is no suitable guy here," Yotsuba said.

When did our conversation turn to love affairs? I was distracted.

"How about you, Miku? Do you like anyone?"Yotsuba asked.

"Ah... there's no one..." said Miku.

Then she quickly leaves.

"Is she all right?"

"That facial expression... As a sister, I understand everything perfectly. Miku fell in love, " Yotsuba said.

×××

This is very bad.

If Miku is in love with someone, it can prevent her from focusing on her studies.

What's even more important is Ichika and Yotsuba. They were so worried about someone else's love, that they discussed it during their lunch break. They won't start learning seriously if they keep doing this. This causes a lot of problems.

While these thoughts were running through my head, I went into the office and sat down in my seat.

As I was getting my school supplies out of the desk, I noticed a letter sticking out from under the desk. I take it out and start reading it.

Kiyotake.

From Miku.

"After your lunch break, go to the roof. I need to tell you something. No matter what I do, I can't keep these feelings to myselfanymore."

Is it called a love letter? So this is what it looks like.

But wait. We've known each other for less than a week, and I doubt it's a love letter.

Maybe a joke?

The chances of her confessing her feelings to me are very slim.

Lunch break will be over soon, we need to hurry.

×××

On the roof.

Sigh

"Looks like it was a prank," I muttered.

However, after that, the door to the roof opens and Miku enters the roof.

"I'm glad you read my message and decided to come," Miku said.

"What do you want to tell me?" I asked.

"It would have been better to say it in the cafeteria, but I didn't want anyone to hear it," she said.

It must be about the question on the test.

"I've been waiting for a while to say this..."

Now these make sense.

"Su... Su... Sue Harukata," Miku said.

"That's right, the correct answer. But why are you saying that now?"

But she didn't hear my question because she was wearing headphones so she couldn't hear me.

I go and take off her headphones to ask.

"Wait, Miku..." I said, grabbing her shoulder.

However, she then drops her phone in fright. After that, the wallpaper with the symbol of the Takeda Shingen clan lit up on her phone.

"Did you see that?" Miku said.

"Do you like Sengoku warriors?"

After that, her complexion changed.

"D-don't tell anyone that I like them... Inthe oins of the Sengoku era, " Miku said.

"I won't tell anyone. Why do you like them?"

Now it's clear why she answered the first question in the test. It turned out to be a love of history.

"It's because of the samurai game I found at Yotsuba's. I liked the generals 'ambitions, so I started reading about them afterwards," Miku said.

Simply zooming in has led to a huge amount of knowledge in this area.

"But my classmates were mostly interested in movie actors and beautiful models. While I like adult men with facial hair... I'm so weird, " Miku said.

It's really hard to call it normal.

"It could have been a lot easier if I'd been honest with myself," Miku said.

This is the perfect opportunity.

"I don't see anything strange in this. You need to continue to believe in what you love. Besides, I also know a lot about generals," I said.

"Really!?" Miku exclaimed.

Gotcha.

"If you join the study group, I'll tell you more about the history of that time that you don't know," I said.

"Are you saying that you know more than I do? Yes? " said Miku.

"You can check on me right now," I said.

Then she moves closer to me and asks me a question.

"Then the question is: The story of Nobunaga referring to Hideeoshi as 'monkey' is pretty well known, right? But you knew it wasn't true? Do you know whatNobun aga really called Hideэeroshi?"

She becomes more talkative when the subject of the story is brought up.

"Response: A bald rat, " I said.

"That's right"

After that, she named her favorite legends. I think I got to know Micah better.

And then the bell rang.

"I don't think we can talk much longer," I said.

"Yeah, too bad. I can talk all day about these things, " Miku said.

"Then join the study group. There we can talk about history all day. Just the next topic will be history. Will you be on it??"

"...Well, if you say so, then... okay, " Miku replied.

It's finally over. In the end, everything went perfectly.

We start walking back inside, but Miku decided to stop at the vending machine to buy a soda. Then she hands me a soda.

"Here, this is proof of our friendship, try it," she said.

I take the soda in my hand. Then Miku continues.

"Drink it, don't worry, there's no snot in it."

This is a good test.

"Bad luck for Mitsunari, who drank a bowl of Oodani Yishitsugu snot ," I said.

"It looks like you really know the story well."

I got all this knowledge as a child. While others were desperately grabbing every point to keep from dropping out, I tried to delve in and learn new knowledge. This is probably the difference between me and other children.

"How do your sisters feel about your hobby?" I asked.

Miku had a sad expression on his face.

"I don't want to talk to them about it," she said.

"Why is that?"

"Among the five of you, I'm the stupidest..."

She doesn't seem to have the confidence to talk to her sisters about it.

"Don't say such words. Didn't you have the highest score on that test? I think you're the smartest, " I said.

"Kiyotaka is kind. But I'm starting to realize that the level that I can reach, of course, can reach the other 4 of my sisters. We're sisters."

"What you're saying is that if the other four are capable of anything, then so are you.Is that correct?"

"I... never thought about it before..." she replied.

Then I pull out the results of their latest test and show it to her.

"Look carefully, did you notice anything?" I asked.

"Ah... the average is always 20, and our correct answers didn't match," she replied.

"That's right, if one of you can reach the other's level, then I believe that each of you has the potentialto score 100 points."

"What's wrong with that logic?" she said.

She looked taken aback by my words.

"That's right... your belief in the phrase 'five sisters' is too exaggerated."

"You're probably right, but I promised your father that you would all get a college degree. I have to teach you. It's my job, isn't it?"

Miku looked rather shocked at my words.

I hope she starts attending a study group.

×××

In the library.

"Yotsuba, maybe it's time to remember that the word rice is spelled with an 'R', not an 'L'. How long will you keep laughing when you're wrong?"

"Ahhaha, it's just that this class wasn't scheduled, but Ayanokouji had time to check out my work, so I'm happy."

Sigh

So I'm done with it. It remains to put them in their place.

I insert the inserts into the history books and put them away.

"If your sisters felt the same way about it, it would be a lot easier, but who knows..."

"I've already tried putting them all together," Yotsuba said.

So Miku's not coming.

Or else...

"Eh? Miku?" Yotsuba exclaimed.

"Are you ready to join the study group, Miku?"

She walks past me and goes to a shelf of Japanese history books.

It's good that I recently finished signing the inserts.

After she saw my last names in the history books, she started to smile.

"Kiyotaka's words made me think.A little... Maybe I can do that too... So..."

Then she turns to me and smiles.

"Take care of me," she said.

"I won't let you down," I said instantly.

Then I see Yotsuba approach Miku and I decide to eavesdrop on their conversation.

"Miku, could it be..." Yotsuba began.

Then Yotsuba's head comes close to Miku's ear and whispers.

"Was the one Miku fellin love with Ayanokoji?" said Yotsuba.

"No, it's not," Miku replied.

I clearly heard their conversation and understood and made a conclusion:

Miku is lying.

[A/N] - here is the new chapter.

I don't really know what to write, so I'll say that maybe soon this fanfiction will be released infrequently due to the start of winter exams.

On this I think everything. Words: 2157

See you.
