After diner, daddy asked to have me alone for a while.
"Okay, we'll meet back up in an hour?" mama asked dad. He shook his head "We won't need that long, half an hour we'll meet back at the place."
Mama and daddy seemed to speak in a secret language. I looked up at them confused.
They both smiled down at me. Mama started walking away with Mask in his carrier. She didn't take the car. I thought of places close by that we could be meeting.
We were in a different area that I didn't know well so I had to ideas.
Daddy took my hand and walked me to a small café.
The weather was cold so it was nice to be back somewhere that had heat.
I sat down at a small circular table across from daddy.
"So Lucy," he began "you know that I proposed to mama."
I nodded confused.
"What do you think we should have at the wedding? What kind of scenery? What kind of flowers? Your mama wants us to plan out everything."
I leaned back in my chair and thought "We should have the setting in a meadow. Then on the tables, Iris and Jasmine then the flower girl can throw daisies with a blue center and white petals-"
Daddy cut me off with laughter "Lucy it really sounds like you've had this planned it for a while."
I grinned and nodded "Anyway, the reception will be at the Gotham Country Club. We'll rent out the third floor from 5:00 to 9:30. The wedding will begin at 3:00 and end at 4:45."
"Lucy I'm going to need you to write this all down for me." daddy smiled and scratched his head.
I shook my head and pulled a piece of paper out if my pocket and handed it to daddy.
He unfolded it and read it over. Every idea that I had was on the paper.
Daddy thanked me and lead me to the secret destination.

Apparently the place mama went was where I had been wanting to go for years. The ice skating rink.
Mama had all ready rented us skates. Her and daddy were going to switch off with looking after Mason.
Mama and I went first while daddy took pictures. I kept mama standing most of the time. For the first few minutes we clung onto the wall like our lives depended on it.
After a while of switching from parent to parent mama called daddy and I back onto the normal floor.
"You wanna go get some hot chocolate Lucy? There's a stand up by the skate rentals and we can get some caramel popcorn too."
I nodded excitedly "Yeah lets do it!"
After we ate our popcorn and got second hot chocolates, we walked two blocks to a bug opening where there was a huge Christmas tree.
I loved it when Christmas came around. I loved the candy canes, the hot chocolate, decorating trees, and the presents!
The tree was huge!
It was decorated with blue ribbon and golden ornaments with white lights popping out in all places. They really brought everytnjng together. It was beautiful.
Daddy leaned over and kissed mama. I took Mason out of his carrier and held him to my chest.
From the back we looked like a average family.
