After being switched to ride on Katelyns back, you gripped the collar of her costume eyes spinning at the speed she was taking.

"Auntie...Katelyn...Why..." "WE'RE ALMOST THERE Y/N! DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP ON ME!" "Sorry I...I think I'm gonna hurl-"

The only relief you got in those moments was Katelyn sitting in the elevator, tapping her foot rather impaitently.

But she sped off almost instantly after, practically breaking the laws on nature.

There's no way someone can travel that fast!

Without any thought as to what the consequences might be for this, Katelyn pulled a Garroth and busted down the hotel door leading into the room Kawaii~Chan and Aphmau were currently in.

"GRHAHDHRHAG! WHAT DID HE DO TO HER!" "Y-Yeah! What'd the mean guy do to KFC!" "KC Y/n." "Sorry, my ears are still ringing-" "KATELYN THE DOOR! UGHHH! And you..brought Y/n?"

"Auntie Kawaii~Chan is crying Mom i'm gonna be here!" You glared, jabbing a finger in Aphmaus direction before falling off Katelyns back with a thump against the floor.

"Kawaii~Chan, did he hurt you!? I swear I'll-" "Yeah! What'd he do!" You cut off.

Although you were both mad, Katelyn was far more intimidating opposed to you. Afterall, she was an angry brute ready to swing. While you were just a small werewolf in a Shinobu cosplay, ready to talk things out.

Laurance and Katelyn told you to not use your fists unless the time really came.

So you're going to obviously do as you were told.

The last thing you want to do is scare anyone again..

"Katelyn, Y/n, a moment please?" "I can't! I-" "Now, Katelyn..." Aphmau growled threw gritted teeth.

You stopped yourself from saying any more protests instantly. You've seen that look in her eyes before. She's given you that look before.

It is a clear sign to shut your mouth before she gets really mad.

"Alright, Alright. Sheez, you don't need to get all scary on me..." Katelyn sighed.

You grabbed Aphmaus hand as she lead you and Katelyn into the bathroom to where Kawaii~Chan (hopefully) wouldn't be able to hear a thing.

"What is it Aphmau!? I'm going to go destroy Damian!" "Is this a situation where i'm allowed to use my claws..?"

"No, Y/n, It's not. Katelyn, I know how you get when you're all riled up. Especially when someone has hurt your friends. But for Kawaii~Chans sake, lets not..jump to conclusions."

"Whaat? Bu-But Damian hurt her!" "Yeah! He dumped Kawaii~Chan. That's all I need to know." "Uh-huh!"

"We don't know the whole story, you two. Maybe Kawaii~Chan doesn't want to be with him. Who knows!"

"GRH--WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO!?"
"Calm down. Breath. Y/n, hand." "Mkay!" You grabbed Katelyns hand with a smile and gave it a few squeezes as she breathed in for a few seconds, before breathing out for a few seconds.

"Now..before we go talk to Kawaii~Chan. Let it all out. Y/n, back away." "Mkay!" You smiled, getting behind Aphmau.

Those words were all Katelyn needed to hear before she starting screaming letting out any and all pent up rage that was building up inside of her from the jump. Most of it was just pointless death threats and the word 'clod' being used a little bit.

Once it seemed like she simmered down, you were the one to test the waters.

"Better?"

"...Yeah, kid, I'm all better. Sorry for getting riled up. What we should be doing right now is focusing on making Kawaii~Chan feel better. We shouldn't just jump to conclusions."

"Wow..Katelyn! I'm...proud of you!" Aphmau praised, making the blue haired woman blush a little bit before smiling.

"Thanks. I've been working on myself! Now, lets cheer up our friend!" "Right!" Aphmau smiled.

You waited for Katelyn to leave the room before pulling Aphmau back to you.

"Mom?" "Yes? What is it, Y/n." "You said..I'm not allowed to use my claws." "Yeah, because you aren't." "But...I was told that I can only use them when my friends are hurt. And Kawaii~Chan is hurt. So...Shouldn't I be allowed to use them-?" Aphmau paused, opening her mouth before closing it again.

You've...always been told what to do and what not. And you've followed them to a tee. So if she messes up this answer now you might do something you will regret in the future.

And if she avoids it you'll just be confused again.

So she thought for a moment before speaking again, "You can use them...w-when...you feel like you should. You can't always jump to conclusions and assume the person who hurt your friend is in the wrong. You need the whole story before you try to do anything. Who knows, maybe your friend is in the wrong instead! You just never know. Do you understand?" You paused and stared deep into Aphmaus eyes.

This answer is one you will never forget for the rest of your life.

"Yes. I understand!" You smiled. Aphmau smiled back, "Good. Now come, let's cheer Kawaii~Chan up."

"Okay!" You beamed.

The two of you stepped outside to see Kawaii~Chan, still clearly upset, with tears in her eyes.

And as much as it hurt, your mother was right. Now was not the time to jump to conclusions.

Katelyn was the first to force a smile and clasp her hands together,

"Kawaii~Chan. How about we forget about boys and just go out and...have a great time at the con, Ey? C'mon...What'dya say?"

"Mm..." The mei'fwa sighed, turning her head away from you three while sulking on the floor.

"Look! I have a pretty red bow~" Katelyn crooned, stepping into the other room to grab said red bow before popping back in with a goofy sort of smile on her face.

"See? Isn't that great?" "Such a pretty bow, right!" You and Katelyn smiled.

"Mmm...Kawaii~Chan doesn't feel like going at all..." "B-But the bow..! It's so cute!"

"Well! Like it or not, Kawaii~Chan, you're going to go out with us and you're going to have a blast." "I don't-"

"Nope! Katelyn is right. It's bad for you to be cooped up in here alone after what happened." "But-" "Come on Auntie Kawaii~Chan! Let's get a move on!" You cheered, skipping over to your aunt to help her to her feet.

Katelyn then came behind her and pushed her foreward while you held her by her hands and pulled her foreward by the front.

It's been awhile since you've spent time with Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan like this.

Maybe...this will be fun!

Even if Kawaii~Chan wasn't very happy..

Back at the convention, you three tried to make Kawaii~Chan feel better by doing some of the fun things people do or look at when it comes to conventions!

But she didn't seem happy to do any of them at all.

First, you all took her to look at some figurines. But she just shook her head solemnly and walked away.

You followed, of course, and lead her to some video games that would win her prizes! But she walked away from those too.

After that you took her to some other stands where more stuff could be bought. And even to the deadpool and spiderman area! But...nothing. Aphmau and Katelyn tried to convince her to do that...para-para thing.

But she just sat down, all sad like. It almost seemed like...she didn't want to talk or feel better at all. No matter how hard you guys tried.

Would it be better to give her some space..?

"I appreciate what you guys are trying to do, but I can't help it! Damian is still on my mind..."

"Kawaii~Chan, I hate to ask this because its really none of my buisness...Why did you and Damian break up?"

"Katelyn!"

"What? Maybe we can help her." "Uhh...Guys-" "I really don't wanna talk about it."

"Ugh...Fine. Kawaii~Chan, I'm going to go do para para. When you're feeling better, please come and join me." Katelyn sighed, slightly annoyed with Kawaii~Chans mopey mood dampening convention day.

Aphmau quickly went to follow while you followed Kawaii~Chan, who attempted to escape the situation by walking away.

But Aphmau paused and went back to the mei'fwa before trying to go after Katelyn.

"Kawaii~Chan..! Wait!" "It's okay...I just want to be alone right now." "But Kawaii-" "Please, I just need some time to think. I'm okay, really!" "Mm...Okay. But only if you let me check on you in an hour." "Mmm...Yup!" Kawaii~Chan smiled, though it was obviously forced after hearing how strained her voice was, before she left.

"...Maybe she does need some time." You spoke, making Aphmau look down at you.

"I mean...When i'm upset, I usually want my space. Just to sit and think for a bit. I don't want a hug. I just want to sit in bed with Scrouchy, alone with my thoughts y'know? Maybe you and Auntie Katelyn should just let Kawaii~Chan do that." Aphmau looked down at you, shocked that words like that came from your mouth.

Maybe she has been underestimating you.

But then...you burped.

"Gross...Tastes like chips. Did I say all that cause of gas? Weird...Mom, i'm hungry." You whined, leaning against Aphmau acting like you'd pass out.

Her face deadpanned.

Or..maybe not.

Maybe you're just a gassy hungry child with random thoughs in your head.

"Take 10 dollars. Go get yourself some food." "Yay! Thanks Mom!" You smiled, taking the money and running off into the crowd of people.

"Yeah...she'll be okay." Aphmau smiled, before going off someplace else.

You, on the other hand, bought some chips from a small snack stand, paying the owner the right amount of money before leaving.

But the moment you turned around you ran face first into someone slightly shorter than you.

"Oh! Sorry, my bad dude!" "Ethan?" "..? Y/n!" Ethan cheered.

The boy instantly hugged you while laughing but jumped off before you could even hug back.

"Where have you been!? We tried to fight those dudes you were talking about, but Asher stopped us, but then they got mad at Asher, so Asher panicked, right!? So Sophia tried to help! But they challanged Sophia to a fight too! But Sophia got scared! And-"

"Wait, slow down. Where is Asher and Sophia? And why aren't you with them?"

"I was hungry, and got a pizza! They went to go deal with it." He smiled, as if it was the most natural and 'OK' thing to do in the entire world.

"Ethan...Come on, let's go help them out." "Okay!" The boy smiled, taking another bite of his pizza before taking hold of your hand and letting you lead him threw the con.

But before you two could get too far,

"Well, didn't think I'd see you looking sad at a convention." "Huh? Oh. Hi Zane."

'Kawaii~Chan and Zane?'

"Uhm...Y/n? Why aren't we walking again. Ah-!" "Shhh!" You quickly hushed putting a hand around Ethans mouth and hiding behind one of the pillars that would give you the perfect chance to overhear Zane and Kawaii~Chans conversation.

"Y'know, shushing me was very rude. You could've just told me to be quiet and I would've!"

"Right, I'm sorry." You whispeared, giving Ethan a kiss on the forehead. He instantly perked up.

"A kiss!" "Mhm. Now, please, be quiet! I gotta hear what they're gonna say." "Who, Zane and Kawaii~Chan? Why..." "Because I have a feeling something great is about to happen."

"You do..? Then I do too! Time to be sneaky spies~!" Ethan smiled, causing you both to erupt into giggles and shush eachother.

The conversation began to unfold once more.

"You okay?" Zane started, making the mei'fwa huff slightly.

"No.." "Oh..! Uhh...I..wasn't expecting that response."

He was so awkward...But took a seat next to Kawaii~Chan none the less.

"So..! Whatsa...Wrong?" "Damian and I broke up.." "BAHAHAHAHA!" Zane cackled making Ethan pout.

"Bad choice Zane !" "Super bad choice !" You agreed. But, luckily, Zane fixed his act rather quickly with a clear of his throat.

"Uhh- Sorry. I just find that kind of funny after the way you guys were acting not too long ago."

"Mmm..." Kawaii~Chan whined, making Zane jump.

"GAH--Don't do that! That's...Sadly..cute!" "I can't help it!" Kawaii~Chan sighed, making Zane get ever so slightly agitated.

Not that he'd let it show, obviously.

So he decided to try a different approach, "Tell me whats on your mind...Zu-Zu."

Even if he didn't execute it correctly.

"Zu-Zu?"

"Zu-Zu! Aww, is that what you and Aphmau call Zane? That's cute!" "Yeah! Just don't call him that yourself. Zane'll flip if you do..." Ethan only nodded before turning his head back to the scene playing out before him.

Zane cringed at his mistake but quickly corrected himself, "GUH--NEVERMIND THAT PART! JUST TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED!"

"Damian and I...We've...We haven't been enjoying eachothers company lately. We don't have that much in common.." "Then why are you with him?"

"Well..because he makes me feel not alone. And loved! And cute!" "Hm...It seems like you just like the idea of having a boyfriend."

"Huh?" "There's a difference bewteen having someone around to have them around and actually caring for them. You might like Damian as a boyfriend. But do you like him as a person?"

"Of course! He's a great guy!" "Then can you see yourself with him past him just being a..."Great guy"? That's what you really gotta ask yourself..."

You weren't expecting Zane to be giving out such great advice.

Let alone to someone who wasn't Aphmau or yourself. But you weren't disappointed. Not in the slightest.

"I..don't think so." "Well then its best you tell him this. And try to keep him as a friend, if you think he's a good guy."

"Do you think he still wants to be my friend..?" "I don't really know. That's for you to find out. All I really know is that if you guys really care for eachother, as friends, you'll find a way to work this out. Just..be true to yourself." Ethans eyes were filled with amazment and admiration.

"Whoa...Zane is so cool..! He gives such good advice too..!"

"I know right," You paused before grinning down at Ethan, "Zane is so cool!" Ethan paused for a split second.

But it wasn't long before he also returned the grin, "Yeah! For sure!" But suddenly, "Ahh! It's him!" A girl shouted.

You and Ethan turned your heads to the person before you pushed him behind you at the mob of girls chasing after Zane when they caught sight of him.

"Uh-Gotta go!" Zane quickly spoke before standing up and making a run for it.

The mob ran right past you, Ethan, and Kawaii~Chan cheering for Zane all the while.

"Those are those same girls from earlier, no?" "No..They are." "Should we help him this time?"

"Uhh...Nooo...Let's..try to find Asher and the others." "Yeah! Okay!" Ethan grinned as you two sneakily made your way away from Kawaii~Chan who seemed to be letting Zanes words sink in.

"Zane was so awesome giving that long drawn out monolougy speech thingie!"

"Totally! I'm happy to see him and Kawaii~Chan getting along like that."

"Me too!" Ethan smiled.

You smiled back before frowning when your ear twitched.

"Hm?" "What is it? Something wrong?" A faded call of your voice could be heard in the distance.

Was that...

"Y/NNNN!" Asher shouted, bolting toward you as if he had just ran a marathon.

"Hey Ashy! What's up?" "Hiiii Asherrr!" You both waved. The wizard in training raised up and grabbed both of your shoulders before shaking them back and fourth.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!? KATELYN JUST SNATCHED YOU AND THEN YOU WERE OFF!" He then quickly turned to Ethan and grabbed him before shaking him as well, "AND WHY DID YOU LEAVE US IN THE DUST LIKE THAT!?"

"I got pizza!"

"Those stupid demons you told us about were so in character...They wanted to fight!"

"And you guys won?" You smiled, tail wagging at the thought of your friends being just as amazing as the characters you picked for them.

"...Well-" "NO WE DIDN'T WIN!" Logan snapped, suddenly coming behind Asher.

"THEY TRIED TO CUT OFF MY HAND,
Y/N. MY HANDS! WHAT THE HECK!?" Nico and Sophia also approached looking scared and shaken.

"I didn't like how one of them tried to eat me." The female twin said before the male one shook his head with his tail as stiff as a board.

You frowned.

Maybe your friends weren't ready to play their parts just yet.

"Speak for yourselves," Alex started, "I beat my guy. I just did a few things." "LIKE WHAT! YOU DISAPPEARED!" Rocky growled.

"Could you stop shouting, you're really hurting mt feelings. All I did was use my foam sword and fight the way I was supposed to." "Yeah right..." Asher glared.

Suddenly, one of the cosplayers came up. He was dressed as Douma.

"Well, Well, Well..." He smirked,

"Kanae. Long time, no see. Have you come back to face death twice?"

You quickly got into character and placed a ghostly like smile on your face,

"If you think calling me by my dead sisters name is amusing...The only one who will face death is you, I'm afraid.." You smiled.

"Okay..She's way too good at this..." Asher cringed, "She's...She's so pretty..!" Logan stammered, a shy blush dancing on his face.

Asher gave the boy a rather perplexed look. But Ethan seemed ready to cheer you on.

"Yeaahhh! Go Y/n! You've got this!" "Beat his butt!" Rocky laughed.

You drew your blade before aiming it toward your foe, "So long as I dawn this haori...I'll die before I ever let scum like you exist on this earth!"

"This will be fun..." He smirked, as the other people cosplaying the demons came out from behind them.

Their makeup was so real...apart of you wanted to fangirl!

"Hashiras...Assemble!" You called. "You got that from avengers, didn't you?" "ShutupAsher-" You blushed making the boy chuckle.

"Well, if you can't beat them. Join them." He smiled, drawing his own blade.

"I wanna fight too!" "Just be careful, Ethan..." "I know, Logan, I know!" "You guys have fun. I killed my guy. I'll cheer from the side though! Do your best, Soph!" "I-I'll try!"

As his friends went to get into a cosplay battle, Nico felt himself smiling at being in your presense as well as everyone elses.

It wasn't long before he drew his blade also and got ready to fight.
