Alright! It is time to announce the first pair for the singles round! Yang punches me in the shoulder are you ready for this? She asks. Andy grins. Beating a few students from Haven was a breeze especially with Dove at her side. Dove smiles from her in the stands and yang says ohh! Is there something going on between you two? Huh? And the first match will be ...Andy Torres and Mercury Black! I smile slightly  when I see who's in the crowd. There's a VIP box for those here for the conference after. I see Senna and she smiles at me. Mercury and I are raised onto the higher platform. I grip my cane in my hand and focus my mind. Nervous? Mercury says. I look at him. And I grin. In your dreams. The crowd cheers at the pre match rabble between the two competitors. The buzzer goes off and Mercury makes the first attack and I block it aiming for his legs as he aims for my arm..

It seems the two competitors are using a very strange strategy - yes! It seems mercury is aiming for Miss Andy's metal arm! But why is she aiming for his legs?

Andy aims for the parts of his leg where the metal joints would be. Mercury suddenly pulls Andy in and he whispers
don't think I don't know what you're doing
Andy grins and punches him in the face with her metal and and he reels back ohh!

Senna this isn't a death match! Would be more exciting especially with her.

Andy puts her sword and at the same time there is a faint buzzing in her ears and the room suddenly goes dark and she sees a figure in front of her.

Andy puts her sword down and a force field forms around her and the illusion dissipates.

Mercury had used the distraction to move closer to Andy and he suddenly punches her in the stomach. Andy recoils but she lashes out with her cane and hits him in return her eyes glowing slightly. She plants her feet and then runs forward. She then makes her club thick and hits mercury in the stomach.

He's knocked down and the professor Port says and that's the match! Andy Torres wins!

Andy hears the buzzing again and she suddenly sees two Mercury's at the same time.

Meanwhile the platform is being lowered and everyone is cheering loudly. Andy sees Mercury coming towards her in a kick and instead of attacking she lifts up a shield and steps out of the way.

The crowd goes silent as Andy suddenly steps to the side her eyes wide as if she's being attacked by something unseen as she lifts up a glyph shield.

What's going on? Yang asks. I don't know Ruby says but I don't like it. Andy is glaring at the unconscious Mercury as the buzzing stops. She looks around and she sees the General coming towards her. Andy? He says. Are you alright? I...Andy holds her head. What happened? You won he says. Andy nods. And then ...well I don't know you didn't attack you defended yourself even though he's right there. Andy sees an unconscious mercury being taken away on a stretcher. There were two she says softly she shakes her head and says not here. Right he says. He guides her out of the arena. Outside in the hallway Yang,dove,Weiss,Blake,Ruby,Jaune, Phyrra,Ren and Leo are waiting for her. Yang hugs her. You looked so scared! She says. Another woman is waiting to the side a slight smile on her face. Blake's eyes widen when see sees her. Um...Andy? Andy sees the woman. She comes over. Andy. She smiles at the girl. You fought honorably. Thank you. Andy says. The Faunus woman looks at the people surrounding the girl she thinks of as a daughter. These are your friends. We're like her family Ruby says. Yeah! Yang says she's like Ruby's little sister. That's...good. Senna says. Weiss' eyes are wide. As the woman's eyes land on her. Weiss Schnee correct? Yes...Weiss says. She steps forward. Your very presence here proves...families like yours can ...be redeemed she says seeming to chose her words carefully. Once under your grandfather your family's company was...honorable she says. However when the company was handed over your farther ...she sighs. But this is a conversation for the conference is it not? Yes I would think so weiss says. She smiles. That's why I'm here to protect people she smiles at Blake. No matter who they are. I do admire...when someone goes against what is expected of them and turns out better. She says. She turns to Ruby. You..your eyes they're silver. Yes Ruby says smiling. Senna smiles. It was once common with the Faunus to have silver eyes. Until..hu-people were hired to kill them she says. Ruby's eyes widen. That's terrible she says. Yes. But I am glad that the trait has survived. She says. We will meet in a hour Andy says I'm moving the meeting  time up I have a bad feeling. Me as well.
