The next day, Boboiboy and Aizawa were having breakfast together. It was the hero's day off, so Boboiboy have the whole day to get some explanation from Aizawa.

"Mr. Aizawa?"

"Hm?"

"How long do you know that... Mechamato is my father?" asked Boboiboy.

Ever since last night, Boboiboy couldn't help but remembered that Aizawa was the one who kept on telling his father to tell him the truth. And the fact that the hero said, he can tell him right away, but choose not to.

Aizawa glanced at Boboiboy before sighing. He knew he would be asked that question sooner or later.

"From the beginning. When I went back to the hospital on your discharge day." said Aizawa, which surprised the teen.

'That far?!' thought Boboiboy.

"Remember when I said I want to visit a friend of mine who got hospitalised?" asked Aizawa which Boboiboy nodded.

"The friend I was seeing... is Amato."

Flashback...

Aizawa pov...

After making sure the boy ate his medicine, I quickly went out of his ward and went to Amato's ward that was on the same floor.

"Oh? Eraser. No 'get well soon' gift?" asked Amato, tried to annoy the hero which a success.

"My visit isn't enough?" asked Aizawa sarcastically.

"Haha, don't be so serious. I was just kidding. Thanks for the visit." said Amato while smiling.

That smile... why does it look similar with that boy's smile? Whatever.

Amato injured his leg and got some bruises when he was fighting five villains at the same time. He got hospitalised for about a week before getting discharge.

I quickly took a chair beside the patient's bed and sat there. Then, I realised the sphere robot was sleeping next to Amato. I never thought I would see this kind of scene between them. Usually they would argue with eachother none stop.

"I never thought you would visit me at this hour. Weren't you on a patrol tonight?" Amato wondered.

"Well, I was patrolling around the city before I found a boy unconscious with a bleeding head in an alley." explained.

"Wait, really?! What happened to him? Is he alright?" asked Amato, surprise and concern for the teen.

"I don't know what happened. He was already in that condition when I got there. For now, he's fine. But..." I hesitated.

"But?"

"... He loss his memories." I added, which surprised Amato.

"Poor child. So, he doesn't remember anything? What about his family? Aren't there anyone looking for the kid?" asked Amato.

"Well, he only remember his first name. Without his family name, we can't do anything. He also doesn't have his ID card to know his identity. Since we couldn't seem to find anyone, I decided to be his temporary guardian until we find one." I explained.

On the other hand, Amato seems to think of any way to help the boy.

"You said he remembered his name, right? What is it? Maybe I know him." said Amato.

"His name is Boboiboy. The name sound foreign tho. Besides, he also has an orange dino-looking cap and a watch. Coincidentally, he also has white hair strain like you, Amato. Maybe you-... Amato?"

Amato's eyes were widen and he froze like stone. I was confused. Does it ring a bell or something?

"Amato?" I called out his name again.

"Ah, yes. Sorry, I spaced out."

"Do you know the kid?" I asked.

"Well, I-"

I was about to get an answer from Amato before a nurse came in the room, informing that she needs to check up on Amato.

"My apology, Eraserhead but I need to check up on the patient. After that, he needs to sleep and rest. You can come again tomorrow." said the nurse.

I sighed. Just as I was about to get an answer.

I obediently left the ward and told Amato that I will come back tomorrow. Still, his reaction just now... he definitely know that kid.

The next day, I went back to the hospital with the kid's clothes. I decided to visit the kid's first before I went to meet Amato. Once I entered the kid's ward, I smelled something familiar.

That's when I saw the kid was holding a drink that looks like a chocolate drink.

"Where did you get that?" I asked.

"Well, someone left this on the table with a note." replied the kid.

'This scent... I know I smell it somewhere... chocolate drink... wait- this is the same drink Amato always has everyday! That means, Amato came here last night. I need to meet him right away.' I thought.

"Nevermind. By the way, I'd done with the papers. So, now I'm your guardian and you're getting discharge. I already washed your clothes and bring it to you to change. After this, we will buy some extra clothes for you." I said while giving the kid his clothes.

"Really? Thank you, Eraserhead"

"Aizawa. Aizawa Shota. Eraserhead is my hero name."

"Oh I see. Thank you, Mr. Aizawa" said the kid as he took the bag and quickly entered the toilet to change.

After a while, Boboiboy came out from the toilet with his clothes on. Not bad, I thought.

"Alright. Before we go, I have some business to do. Please wait for me in here, okay?"

"Alright." said the kid as he went to sit on the bed.

Without wasting any seconds, I walked out of the room and went straight to Amato's ward. From the information I have so far, I have my own assumption. But one thing for sure.

Amato knows Boboiboy.

Once I arrived in front of his ward, I quickly entered the room and saw Amato was sitting on his bed. He looked at me before putting on a small smile.

"Hey Aizawa. You're early today." he said as I walked towards him. The robot was still sleeping so I guess this is my chance.

"Amato, tell me everything. You know the child, don't you?" I asked.

Amato looked down with a small smile on his face.

"Yeah... he is my son..." he admitted.

Just as I thought. Both Amato and Boboiboy are related.

"If he is your son, why don't you meet him? Face to face, I mean. Why do you need to hide yourself from him?" I asked.

Amato was silent for a while until another voice was heard.

"That's because he felt awkward and guilty for what he did to Boboiboy." the voice is none other than Mechabot's, Amato's robot.

"You old junk. You were listening the whole time, didn't you?" asked Amato, annoyed.

"So what's the problem?" asked Mechabot, feeling irritated.

Before those two could make a fuss in the hospital, I stopped them.

"What do you mean by that, Mechabot?" I asked.

"Well, you see. This old man over here left his only son alone with his father and hasn't meet the child for years. Also, this old man kept on making excuses such as 'let him be independent' everytime the child had proble- ack!" Mechabot pointed out before getting smacked in the head from Amato.

"That's enough, you pile of stupid junk. Don't act like you didn't agree in the first place." said Amato.

"So in other words, you're afraid if you meet the child, he would remember you as well as your stupid parenting methods, and get mad at you?" I concluded which Amato nodded.

This guy... how did we know each other again?

"So, Aizawa. Since you're his guardian now, can I ask you a favor to look after him? And please, don't tell him about me. I will tell him myself." Amato said.

"Fine. I better get going now. The kid's already wait long enough. I'll see you later, Amato." I said before walked towards the door. As I was about to walk out of the roo., Amato called for me.

"Aizawa!"

"Yes? Anything else?" I asked as I looked back towards him.

"When you found him, is there anyone else other than him? Like, some teenagers around his age?" Amato asked while I raised an eyebrow.

"No. He's the only one in the alley."

"I see... Sorry for taking your time."

After that, I walked out of the room and went straight to meet Boboiboy.

'Hm... what was that question about? Should there be some people with him?' I thought

End Aizawa's pov...

End flashback...

"So that's what happened." said Boboiboy.

"Since then, Amato would ask me about you from time to time. You might be wondering why sometimes I said something like 'I just did what I was told to', right?"

"Oh yeah. I sometime wonder about that but I usually just shrugged it off. If I'm not wrong, you said it after UA entrance exam, when celebrating my acceptance to UA, and after the USJ attack." Boboiboy said.

"I'm surprised you still remember. Well, it means what it means. Amato told me to do and say those things." Aizawa pulled out his phone and showed Boboiboy his conversation with Amato.

[Hey, Aizawa... the exam's over right? Is Boboiboy okay? Could you help deliver my message to him? Told him that whatever the result will be, the important thing is he did his best. He should be proud of that. I'll treat you your favourite coffee tonight.] - Amato

......

[Aizawa, how was it? He passed the entrance exam right?] - Amato

[You sure?] - Aizawa

[Well, he is my son and I know him. He will totally ace the exam with flying colours.] - Amato

[Says the one who left the kid for years.] - Aizawa

[Hey! Don't guilt-trip me like that! But seriously, he passed right?] - Amato

[Why are you keep on asking if you already know?] - Aizawa

[I knew he passed UwU.] - Amato

[Anyway, I know this is a lot to ask but can we make a congratulations party for him? I will prepare everything while you invite anyone you want.] - Amato

[If I want no one to come?] - Aizawa

[So you agreed to make the party? Great! Just invite those who Boboiboy knows. I will treat you coffee for a week as my gratitude.] - Amato

[Make it a month then we have a deal.] - Aizawa

[Fine, fine...] - Amato

"Hehe... you sure love bullying him, don't you?" asked Boboiboy.

"Of course. I will enjoy it while it last." said aizawa before having a sip of his coffee.

"But... I didn't see the chat about after USJ attack." Boboiboy claimed.

"Oh that... we didn't chat but meet face to face. That's when he ask me to told you."

'Meet? When Aizawa was still in the hospital? But wasn't I the first one who- wait a minute... ' Boboiboy thought before he remembered a man walked out from Aizawa's room before he entered the room.

"He came before you did. Once he walked out, you entered the room. You didn't bump into him?" asked Aizawa.

"No I... I did but I didn't know that's him." said Boboiboy.

"When he visited, I told him about what happened during USJ attack. About you using your power."

"You never ask him about it?" Boboiboy asked.

"I did when the first time both of us were wondering either you have a quirk or not, but he said you have but it's quite complicated. So, he told me to see it for myself." explained Aizawa.

"So, that day, he told you about my power?" Boboiboy asked.

"Yes. He told me that you are not like the others. Your powers are unique and would cause a huge problem if it get leaks out. He told me some details about your powers but not everything. Just about your three elements and their second level. He said he was afraid to tell me your power's full potential and I could understand why." added Aizawa

"I see..."

Boboiboy looked back at Aizawa's phone and saw a text between Amato and Aizawa.

[I know what were you doing, Amato. But I still believe, you need to tell him the truth at some point. He chose your agency for the internship. This could be an opportunity for you. It's time for you to reveal yourself. He needs you the most. His father.] - Aizawa

'So all this time, Mr. Aizawa has been encouraging father to tell me the truth.' thought Boboiboy before he saw his father's reply.

[I will. Don't worry. But... I still can't tell him about me... I will help him grow, just like how a mentor of the internship should do. I am grateful enough to get to meet him up close even tho in his eyes, I am just his internship mentor. Thank you for your help, Aizawa.] - Amato

[Huhhh... stubborn as always. Don't keep it for long. Sooner or later, without waiting for you to be ready to face the kid, he will know the truth and confront you himself.] - Aizawa

[I know.] - Amato

'And just like Mr. Aizawa said. I found out.' Boboiboy thought as he returned Aizawa's phone to the owner.

"Thanks Mr. Aizawa. For everything." said Boboiboy.

"Don't mention it. I helped him because of you. You need a guardian to look after you since that coward couldn't do it for now. But like he said, he's been encouraging himself to meet you and tell you everything. Slowly but surely, you will reach that phase." said Aizawa.

"Oh and by the way, I noticed that you didn't look too shocked when you eavesdropping mine and Amato's conversation. It's as if you know that Amato knows something about you. You just don't know what it is. Why is that?" asked Aizawa.

On the other hand, Boboiboy just kept quiet for a while before smiling.

"Who knows? Maybe because I have my own assumption before."

Aizawa just stared at the teen weirdly as Boboiboy excuses himself to his room.

'Well, surely enough I wouldn't say that I overheard father's words when he carried me back to the mansion after our night patrol.'

"Mechabot. We talked about this before. I don't want to stress him out with all of the things that he forget. You know that his life... is far from normal that anyone could ever think of. I promise, I will tell him everything. Slowly but surely. I myself want to tell him everything very badly but I know I can't. Yet. This is also... killing me."

"Sorry. I should have know that you're also controlling yourself. He is everything to you afterall." said Mechabot.

"Yeah. He is someone I cherished the most. All I want him to know is that, I'm proud of him. I love him and I always will."

'During that time, I was very sleepy so I didn't really mind their talks. But when I woke up, I remembered their conversation and have my own thoughts about it. Tho, it turned out to be something I wasn't expecting but it kinda explains a lot. So, I didn't really noticed that my expression was rather calm. But...' Boboiboy walked towards the window and stared at the clear blue sky.

"If you passed the final exam, I will tell you everything I have been keeping from you."

'I will do my best to pass the exam no matter what. Meanwhile, I hope you have enough courage to tell me everything, father.'
